Aweful! Used to go to this place years ago, for my dry clean, cleaning services and even fluff and fold. I moved for many years out of the valley, now I am back and I was happy they are still there. The thing is; the service went down the toilet!. The guy is rude and condescending, he even look bothered you walked in!. Last time I ask for "wash", and everything ( shirts ) were dry cleaned instead. Giving the benefit that I wasn't probably very clear, today he seems pretty upset I asked wash only, and replied with a " let me see what do you have first " and pointed at the only linen shirt on the pile .. Thats linen! it can only be dry cleaned!... So I kindly grabbed my laundry and said... It is ok, don't worry... and I walked away. There are MANY new, bigger and better in the neighborhood, I'll take my business and referrals to a more professional and nicer place. BTW, I am 43yo, I have use Linen since I was a lil kid... I used to get my delicate dresses cleaned here. However I will not return. I came in with a dress that had a faded mark that happened after I let my friend borrow my dress. I went in and wasn't really greeted in a pleasant way unless you call a blank stare waiting for me to talk. After I showed the not so friendly girl the dress she told me they could not do anything because it wouldn't come out..she told me this while I was mid sentence asking if they do dyes... Finally after I finished asking if they dye to match she said no..I asked if there were any recommendations and she said NO. I then asked if she recommended anywhere else and she said no one does dye "it's too tricky..." Aren't these "Professionals?" If I could give a zero rating I would. This place used to be my go to place for alterations. I went in today and asked for my measurements because I am about to buy a new suit. The front desk woman informed me it would cost $10 for the tailor to even see me. I agreed to pay the cost, although, I thought it was steep. When I questioned as to why the cost seemed so high the female at the front desk became EXTREMELY angry. I told the woman that I would pay, I just wanted to know why the cost seemed high. She responded very rudely and told me I should leave because the tailor wouldn't be able to see me today, anyway. The woman basically, and, in my opinion, irrationally kicked me out of the store. The anger, also, was super unwarranted. It's possible she just had a bad day or something, I really don't want to speculate, but I would never allow one of my employees to behave the way she did to a paying customer. This place has really gone down hill. I strongly encourage you not to trust any of the other positive reviews. This place was the WORST customer service experience I have ever had. Oh, and afterward, I LITERALLY walked across the street and had my measurements done at NO CHARGE. read more

I also have my alterations done their as well. Although their cleaning is spot on nothing compares to the candy section of tootsie rolls, double bubble gum, licorice and mints. Just a quick update to mention the outstanding work their in-house tailor (Gevork) has been providing me for years. I've lost count of the number of pants (mostly high-end jeans) that I've brought in for tailoring (inseam/seat, hemming with original bottoms, tapering) using the original thread during reconstruction. You basically get a custom-fitted pair of jeans. He's as good or better than anyone else you'll find. read more

Be aware of the owner manipulating prices based on who the customer is. I've been using this cleaners for a couple of months now after moving to sherman oaks. After noticing a discrepancy in the prices presented initially and then at the time of pick up, I requested an itemized receipt. Immediately after the request, the owner became defensive and refused to provide me with the itemized receipt. Attached photo shows a receipt for 7 shirts for laundry ( L on the receipt) for $40. Unless this establishment charges almost $6 for laundry (which I doubt that's what their actual advertised prices is), there is something wrong here. In addition, the cleaners advertises 20% discount for all customers and is not indicated on the receipt even after inquiring about it. Owner claims that laundry is 7.50 per piece and after the 20% discount, it's at $5.72. If you are a new customer or returning, I definitely recommend obtaining an itemized receipt before turning your clothes in for treatment. I will be issuing a complaint with the BBB to have this matter looked at since it can be a reoccurring theme here at this cleaners. read more

I lived right down the street for 18 years so I have used them for awhile ,my only wish is that they were here in Fort Lauderdale ,Florida. I always had the best of service at the best price, and they can repair almost anything. If you want it folded ,hung just ask and it will be done. It is hard to find a good cleaners here in Fort Lauderdale or Miami like trying to find a good Cinese Restaurant, no China Town here like in Los Angeles or New York City but that is ok atleast we have good Italian restaurants. I have come into Jasmine with special problems and they have helped me. My wife and I have been taking our dry cleaning into Jasmine Cleaners for a number of years now and I decided it was time to take care of our neighbors by telling them about this little gem of a business in our community. The owner/operator of Jasmine Cleaners without fail returns our clothing, drapes, rugs and tablecloths to us spotless, well pressed, and on time, for a competitive price. I make the above references to community and owner/operator because there are corporate cleaners in the neighborhood who may do an almost-equally-good job of cleaning garments (albeit much more expensively), but they are large and impersonal businesses that don't give the personal attention that Jasmine's husband/wife/son team do. When I have needed the occasional hurry-up job, the answer has always been "yes" without complaint. When my wife brought in a vintage dress and anxiously asked Rick to exercise particular care with the piece, he responded with supportive understanding and confidence without defensiveness. (The dress was beautifully cleaned and pressed without adding to its fragile state!). When local elementary schools approach them for donations, they are to my knowledge always willing to contribute. There always seems to be complimentary containers of bubble gum, licorice and coffee candy resting on the counter. Well, it's been a long time since I've given a one star rating to any business, but here it goes: my partner took a pair of leather pants in to Jasmine Cleaners for hemming. The older gentleman who does all the alterations (the owner's uncle) measured the pants and said no problem, and the younger man, the owner, gave her a receipt charging her $25. All good. She picked up the pants a week later and we discovered that the hemming was not hemming, but they actually just cut the pants and left no hem. Literally just took a scissor and cut them leaving zero length for an actual hem. We did not notice this until a few days later when she put the pants on. It was not only cut, but the cut was asymmetrical. Today, we took the pants back with the receipt. We showed the tailor the pants and he said he did cut them because he couldn't hem them. The owner came over and said they could not be hemmed because the leather was thick and so they did indeed cut them. We asked why he didn't tell us in the first place that they could not be hemmed and the owner said "I assumed you already knew that." We said why would we know this, since we are not tailors and this is why we didn't cut them ourselves. He said well, we cut them and there is no way they can be hemmed, and he said he saved the pieces they cut, and gave them to us. We told both the tailor and owner that this is unacceptable and the pants are ruined and any hemming that could have happened cannot now because they are too short, and also, charging $25 for something that we literally could have done ourselves was not right. The owner then said "oh so now it's about the money?" We explained that it's not the money at all but the lack of any quality or care/consideration of the job that we asked them to do or the ethical consideration to tell us they could not do the job in the first place. The owner walked away from us multiple times and the uncle walked away and we asked for both of them to come back and talk to us and explain why they just didn't tell us in the first place that they couldn't do the job and the owner then became extremely agitated and he escalated very quickly, shocking not only us, but the three other customers in the shop who were picking up their dry cleaning. He actually became semi-violent, as he walked out from behind the counter as if to physically confront us, and we felt quite unsafe. He literally chased us out and as we were exiting, we told him we will never return and we will be writing a Yelp review about this experience. He yelled back "F**k Yelp and anyone who reads your f**ing review or uses Yelp can go to hell, I don't want their "f**ing business anyway!" He also yelled "I'm going to sleep well tonight knowing I have your money and I never have to see you again!" He also yelled at us to "F**k off" and a few other F-bombs. A customer who walked out with us said he will never bring his business to Jasmine Cleaners again and said the right thing to do would have been for the owner to refund the money, and I agree with that. This was an extremely disturbing experience and the owner's response was completely inappropriate and unprofessional, not to mention violent and scary. The store advertises alterations of leather clothing, so if they couldn't do it, they should not have tried it and in the end, these leather pants are pretty much ruined. On a side note, the owner said this is how leather "hemming" is done, which is to cut them, and leather cannot be sewn. Um, these leather pants were sewn together, not glued together. We own several pieces of leather clothing, all sewn. They didn't have the right equipment and they just wanted the money and didn't care about the quality of the work. We were shocked and very dismayed and disturbed at this experience and we certainly will not be back. What is more disturbing is what he said about the people who use Yelp to find quality businesses. This is definitely a cleaner/alteration place you want to avoid and the one star rating doesn't even begin to cover how we are feeling right now: threatened, ripped off, disillusioned and angry and we have every right to be. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT give this business a dime of your hard earned money. We don't know if anything can be done about these pants now and they are most likely ruined. read more

I've lived in Sherman Oaks for over 10 years, and have been using Jasmine Cleaners for the last two. This place is the absolute best drycleaner in the area. Drycleaning my suits / pants, laundering my shirts, everything is perfect each and every time. Clothing comes back on-time, with collar stays, and there are even red vines for my boys!
