I am a Jason Aldean and country music fan, so I was pretty excited to check out this new spot on the North Shore! My husband and I came here one night during the week, which was nice because it wasn't too crowded or busy. We started off with the southern nachos, which was delicious! The bbq sauce drizzle really added something great to it! There was a lot here so I would recommend these for more than 2 people. My husband was excited to see chicken and waffles on the menu, which he enjoyed! He said it had the right amount of spice. I had Jason's Mac and Cheese. I thought the Mac and cheese had great flavoring! The brisket was a little tough to eat, but it didn't ruin my meal. Overall, the place itself is nice. My issue is with the manager. I accidentally left my credit card at the bar and went back literally a minute after they closed. Security wouldn't let me back in, so I politely asked if someone could just check for me. For some reason, this turned into a problem. The manager came out, I explained the situation, and he told me to come back the next day. Well....being a multimillionaire I really expected like better quality food at the most. So let's start off by saying George Strait was AMAZING (even though it has nothing to do with this post haha you should know) we decided to eat here the night of the concert, figured it's a country concert let's do a country artist restaurant/bar. Well it was windy as all get out but didn't have an option but to sit outside. (That's totally fine not their fault on Mother Nature). We ordered the nachos. They came out and looked amazing. They tasted good however I work in the food industry and his chips are prefroze kettle chips. You could go with fresh cut in my opinion. Then my husband got the burger and fries. They sent the burger but not the fries so we had to wait even longer now the fries and burger were delicious he said. I got the beer can chicken. The chicken was moist but whatever they put in the mashed potatoes was sooooo overpowering it was inedible. Now I'm a sucker for fresh green beans and that was probably the best thing I ate was the beans. But it's beans I just thought with Jason Aldean being this huge country artist opening up restaurants that he would care about quality instead of quantity. Now my waitress , loved her. Very attentive and apologizing when the wind got so bad a chair hit me and always made sure we were okay, even though it was INCREDIBLY busy. She did a great job. I wish I remembered her name. I came here to celebrate my 50th birthday. Prior to arriving- I sent multiple messages to get a reserved space for our group (they did not have a phone) but I never got a reply. Upon arrival the manager was very understanding, esp for a Saturday, and gave me 2 tables knowing my party was showing up through the night. The food we got was very good, but we mainly got appetizers. Our waitress was great. I loved the mac n cheese bites. We were there during Pirate game and final 4. Our main complaint is that is was tooo loud- they had the games playing extremely loud. We had a hard time talking to each other. Do you need to hear sports? We weren't expecting much from a celebrity restaurant but were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed ourselves. Our server made excellent suggestions on how we could modify our order to make it less spicy. The steak salad was one of the best I've had. They changed the menu from the last time I was in Pittsburgh and stopped in here about a year ago around Steeler season the food and service were amazing so we came back this time around hoping to find the same server (kayla with blonde hair) who must not work there anymore but we really came for some ribs and beer can chicken and they informed us that the menu changed they don't have either anymore only the chicken as a special on a weekend day it was such a disappointment this time we tried some other items but they just didn't compare to the original menu in my opinion and some of the drinks were too sweet read more

They only serve cans of beer, no drafts, and charge you $6 for a CAN of Miller Light. What a ripoff. Went to dance on the stage and set my full drink down, only for it to be immediately taken by the staff and dumped out. So I moved to a different spot and was hanging out with my very sober friend, when out of nowhere he was escorted out by security. So ridiculous! Will never come back to this place. They hate fun. Our waitress Kaitlyn was so hospitable. She was a fantastic waitress and I hope this post finds management well and praises her for just that! I came in from New York and met with friends for dinner and we picked this place. I've been to the one in Nashville annually so I was hoping this one was just as good. I was right! The decor is absolutely awesome. I really want to steal one of those big Steelers pirates or penguins bobblehead! The pulled pork nachos were awesome but I would totally add scallions and pickles to it. Just a thought. I'll def be back though. I hope this does well in the north shore. They have a super strict cop that will not let you in if you had 2 or more drinks at another bar. I was not even drunk when the bouncer let me in and the cop pulled me aside. He started asking me where did I come from and how many drinks did I had. I stumble over my words since ENGLISH IS MY SECOND LANGUAGE AND ITS HARD NOT TO STUMBLE OVER MY WORDS SOMETIMES. After that we saw the same cop kicking a guy out just because he was dancing outside. I mean he did seem kinda drunk, but he was only dancing in a corner with a couple of his friends. This is probably why the bar seemed so dead while Tequila Cowboy had a huge line. People in there were just afraid of having a good time and the cop kicking them out. I was very excited to hear about this restaurant opening in the North Shore, especially with the fun theme and small concert opportunities. Came here on a Monday and had no issue getting a table for 2. Our waiter did take awhile to come over to get our drink orders, but it gave us time to look over the menu. I ordered the My Kind Of Party cocktail, which is strawberry, agave, jalapeño, and mango chile rum. I really enjoyed it! It was a nice balance of sweetness from the fruit, with a spicy aftertaste. I was a bit surprised by how small the drink was for $12, it was mainly ice and a small glass. As an appetizer we ordered the Southern Nachos and they were delicious. I really liked the usage of seasoned kettle chips vs typical nacho chips. They put a good amount of toppings on it too, including cheddar queso, pulled pork, chives and sweet BBQ sauce. It was certainly large enough to share with a big group and we filled up on it, just 2 of us. For my entree I ordered the brisket sandwich. I was a disappointed because the smoked brisket wasn't very tender, I had to chew a lot and at times rip it apart with my hands to get a bite. The BBQ sauce amount was minimal too, so it was slightly dry, but they had extra sauce on the table to add. It also came with delicious crispy fries and typical-tasting coleslaw. Overall it was overpriced at $18 for a mediocre brisket sandwich and I wouldn't order it again. The atmosphere is fun, but music is a bit too loud to have a conversation and the food is average in comparison to the price. read more
