I have been on the hunt for a dentist where I do not feel like just another number and who I feel respects my time away from work. If you are looking for a dentist who prompt and very thorough Dr. Ta is it! The office was very safe and COVID friendly because they space out each patient out to allow for an hour and half of treatment. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed and taken back ASAP. I was expecting to only have an exam today and return the following week for a deep cleaning but he did all on in one day! The cleaning was painless with awesome end results. I'll tell ya what, I hate going to the dentist. I had a crown come off a few weeks ago and went in to a dentist office in Hermosa Beach... I won't mention any names. Not only did they take forever and DO nothing, the whole visit seemed like a GIANT sales-pitch. Then someone recommended I go see Doc Ta. His staff is outstanding. They're courteous, kind, welcoming and effective; which, is definitely a reflection of the dentist in charge. My crown was replaced with a temporary, my first visit. Two weeks later I couldn't believe how quickly and painlessly it was replaced with a new permanent one. I don't think these guys carry enough brochures for me to give to my friends, family, and co-workers, because I will hand them out and recommend them to everyone I know. If you are looking for a knowledgeable and personable dentist, this is your place. We went in for some cleaning and what other Yelpers have said did not disappoint. My husband and I had a 5:30 appointment and we were promptly seen. At no point did I feel rushed as it was getting late. We were out of the office around 7:20 and I appreciate Dr Ta and his amazing staff for accommodating us with some last minute appointments. Dr Ta took his time to explain the conditions of each tooth by showing me pictures and also xrays taken. They also gave me an ipad to watch movies while I waited for my novocaine to take effect. My deep cleaning was the most thorough and best I've had from any dentist. After reading a couple of positive reviews, I decided to make an appointment with them and I am glad I did! They are the most welcoming team and are very professional. They offered my mom and I beverages upon arrival and made us feel very comfortable. I appreciated how thorough Dr. Ta was with me in regards to the work my teeth needed to have. Came into Dr. Ta's office for a routine cleaning after switching from my old dentist and might I say it was a good choice. He gave me thorough details of what he was doing and showed me what was wrong with my teeth on this little camera wand thing he had, it was pretty awesome. The office is clean and spacious with tons of parking outside on Hawthorne Blvd. Drinks, snacks and even VIDEO GAMES were provided in the waiting room. The environment of Dr. Ta's office was a very friendly one. I was welcomed with a big smile and offered beverages of my liking. The office space was very clean and professional. He has a TV and electronics for patients to use while they are in the waiting room, so that's definitely a benefit. Today was my first time there and I'm glad I chose to come here. Even though I only went there for a simple hygiene cleaning, Dr. Ta was very detailed with it. He really cared about the health of my teeth and made it feel and look clean after he was finished. Today was my 1st time with Dr. Ta ever since he took over Dr. Park's practice. Will definitely return! I did a general teeth cleaning and got the usual x-rays done. Dr. Ta is very detailed and extremely thorough - he took the time to do a very thorough and non-painful teeth cleaning, and I never felt rushed. I also liked how he patiently explained my X-ray results and pointed out problem areas. Normally the dentists I've been to just take X-rays and don't bother explaining what they're seeing, so I really appreciate Dr. Ta taking the time to go over my X-rays. The office supervisor,Jessica, is very friendly and also very patient. Like the small touches like the complimentary fridge with bottled water, cans of ice tea & lemonade, and coffee. Took in my 4 year old daughter with Dr. Jason Ta and was very happy that my daughter was very comfortable wit the staff. The previous dentist I would take my daughter wouldnt allow me to go in with her and would tie her down wile having a check and with Dr.Jason I was able to be in the same room wit my four year old and there was no need to tie her down they performed her six month check up and her cleaning . Dr. Jason also performed my tooth extraction and fillings and did an amazing job . He just wants the best for his patients I would really recommend him . They dont try to up sell . Dr. Ta does a great job. He explains anything he notices on your x-rays or during his observation, and walks you through any procedures he will do so you know what's going on. Came to Dr. Ta's office the other day. His office was very spacious and clean. His staff was friendly and helpful.I haven't been to the dentist in years so I Had to have 2 broken molars removed. I was afraid and he talked me through everything. The procedure was quick and efficient under 30 minutes. Dr Ta made sure I felt no pain, which was one of my biggest concerns. He made sure I had extra anesthesia, my nerves were fully numb. Not to mention the prices was fair and reasonable. Other places I called was hundreds more. I never thought I would ever say this but I am so happy I went to the dentist..... my friends know I am terrified of the dentist and have avoided going my entire life. But after having a root canal by Jason TaI no longer have a phobia of dentists!! He was professional knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable right away. I expected there to be some sort of pain due to my experiences with a previous dentist, but with Jason I NEVER felt one tiny bit of pain. Not even a pinch!!! Keep in mind I just had a root canal and hour ago and I am feeling great. Hence the reason for this review. I am so happy I can finally get the work I need and not dread the dentist anymore. I wish I could give more stars.... For the level of expertise I was expecting a substantial bill but again I was astonished at how inexpensive and reasonable he was.
