I only said three stars because Jason's deli isn't my favorite place but just ok. My daughter and I went because we were seeing a moving last night and it was the closest. I had the salad bar and soup ( which the chicken tortilla was really good, should of just had that)..... The salad bar is your basic salad bar. Now back in the day when I ate cheese and arch then it was good...... Now I'm dairy free and used to having my vegan cheese at home when I eat salad.. So a salad w only veggies and Italian dressing seems lacking.... Not Jason's deli's fault that they don't have vegan cheese and gluten free croutons or crackers.. Hint.. Hint! My daughter had the grilled cheese sandwich and apples, which was good. She really loved the bread, was wheat with seeds in it. The price for everything was $13.07 ... Which is quite affordable. The staff was really nice and very helpful...but, the bathroom wasn't clean. My daughter said there was dried pee on the floor (which I confirmed and waited myself to use the restroom at the theatre). If I was back in the area for a movie I would eat here again... I at least have gf bread to choose from for a sandwich. read more

Ok. So food is always good.. HOWEVER we we ate there for $18.00.. they had charged me twice last night. So they took off 1 charge but them Recharged my card for $15.00. I called my bank and she said they did a new charge this morning. So I then called the manager working. He said he cant find anything and he would call the corporate office.. and I have yet to hear back and still have the second charge... my bank called and red flagged this store with there corporate offices... you people need to train and screen your employee's better.. my bank has already sent out notification to all card users at this location... fix this issue and I may re review this location read more

We ordered the Buon Appetito Package for a party celebrating my father-in-laws 99th birthday. We had 11 guests and this was just a part of the food we served. The Sandwiches were terrible, the past salad was incredibly skimpy, we had to add other tomatoes, olives and peppers to fill it out. The amount of pasta salad could not feed 5 people let alone 10 as advertised. The only items that were delicious were the meatballs and the brownies. The product we received was not worth what we payed for. The following day we had ordered food from Firehouse subs and the quality was so much tastier and we felt that we were not taken advantage of. We lived in NYC for most of our adult lives and also in an Italian community and I lived in Rome, Italy. We know Italian, and love Italian food. This was very disappointing. Had 8 very hungry teenage girls with us tonight after waiting an hour for a table at Dave and Busters. So glad we had the smarts to leave and come to our family fave- Jason's near the Arboretum. As always they didn't disappoint. TIM was so warm and welcoming and took our order efficiently and kindly. He asked about the large party and I mentioned it was my daughter's birthday. To our huge surprise he later came to our table with a strawberry shortcake complete with candle with a few staff singing happy birthday to our daughter. It totally made our night. My very first interaction with Jason's Deli was over the '08 winter holiday months. I placed an order for ~25 people: sanwiches, chips, and dessert for delivery. The whole process was incredibly smooth and easy, and the food was a great hit! Even the fact that I was calling and placing the order from southern California with my credit card and having it delivered to my folks at our Austin office was no problem. I plan on using them in our regular food deliveries in the future. I finally got the chance to go to the actual store, and I was very impressed - I was picturing a Subway-sized place, and this one was huge! The first time going here got the pastrami sandwich on rye with swiss cheese. The pastrami was tough and the sandwich was dry. There was plenty of meat on it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Maybe I'll try something else. read more

Strong shout out to these guys. Good food, really quick, and all that.... Very consistent. But they really went the extra mile to help me out. I took my dad there for a quick lunch in the midst of a very chaotic day. Somehow, my wallet fell out of my pocket, and lucky me, I had just gone to an ATM to get a bunch of cash. There were hundreds of dollars literally busting out of the wallet. I realized my error about 20 minutes after leaving, and called. I brought my son with me and he is a little rambunctious. Full of energy. Well I normally feel so uncomfortable going out to eat with him because I feel bad for everyone else in the restaurant. Not at this Jason's deli though. They made us feel so welcome and all the employees were just in love with my son. Gave him a free cookie and crayons. Kept coming over and playing with him. The last time I was in the one in Bedford, the staff was rude really and I order chicken Ceasar salads and the salads were cold. I am not sure who you have working there as the ice cream was dripping on the counter. I think the food is very overpriced too as I paid almost 22 dollars for 2 chicken Ceasar salads and 2 drinks... If it wasn't for convenience, I would never go here again. I think really you deserve zero stars as if I am paying 22 dollars for a salad, I expect the chicken to be warm. I've eaten at this place several times and it pains me to wright this but..... Just picked up a grilled cheese and tomato bisque to go; arrived at my office and I find...... 1. No spoon - Its really hard to eat soup without a spoon, so thankfully I found a left over plastic one in the office. 2. The soup was so cold that it didn't even melt the cheese they put on top and after stirring it the complete lack of steam coming out and the cheese will not melt in the room temp soup. 3. This is bisque soup - it should be smooth and creamy; what I ended up with is basically a thick tomato salsa that is comprised of 50% chunks of tomato. 4. The "grilled cheese" was anything but; the bread was toasted just enough to barely brown it..... ever open a grilled cheese to find that the cheese didn't even melt? Sorry but I'm posting this review hoping that management might do some retraining. ..... On a positive note, the guy working the take out counter was super polite and friendly, he had me paid and out the door in no time! read more

Went to this location tonight, tried one of their hot pasta dishes. The hot Portobello Garden Pasta, I asked what sauce came on it, (this one does not come with sauce) I hesitated because I was afraid it might be a little dry. I did not say that out loud I was just thinking a moment, the cashier offered to prepare it any way I would like. That impressed me. I asked for Alfredo sauce on it, and loved it. Food was good but, really appreciate great service. The salad bar is always a great deal. Includes muffins(spice and cornbread) and all sorts of things to put in your salad including whole hard boiled eggs and a variety of nuts. Soups are very good also, my favorites are the broccoli, chili, and vegetarian vegetable. The sandwiches are also very good. They're served with your choice of ridged potato chips, baked chips, or fruit. My favorites are the Reuben and the Bird to the wise. The rigatoni and meatballs is also very satisfying but don't order anything to go with it. It's quite large. Everyone gets free ice-cream here. Went there at lunch today and saw they had a new item on the menu, Baja Salmon wrap....I asked how the salmon was cooked. The person taking my order said she had no clue but I persisted, so she asked a co-worker, she didn't know either but both chimed in and said its already cooked and they just warm it up. That should have been my first clue! Did order it though, turns out it was a bad decision. Not only did I have to wait and go up to ask where was my food then, ugh, the salmon smelled fishy and worse, it was very mediocre. Very disappointed! I've gone to this Jason's many times and I've always felt that I got a pretty good meal for a good price, but this last time was awful. The sandwich was cold and it was packed horribly. I was an avid Jason's deli customer. I ate here practically everyday. Today I ordered the same thing I always order and they quoted me 3 dollars higher than normal. When I questioned what had changed they told me my side item had an upcharge. I informed the manager that I had ordered the same thing yesterday and was not charged this "upcharge". The manager here is far from customer service oriented. If it wasn't for Dezmond being so nice and helpful, I would never be back. I shudder a little bit at giving a big chain 4 stars, but Jason's is a cut above. They were one of the first (if not the first) chain restaurant to ditch trans-fats entirely, and they've phased out high fructose corn syrup (gah) in favor of natural cane sugar. This puts them way ahead of the curve in social responsibility. As for the food, it's solid and reliable. About the only thing I get anymore is the Southwestern Chicken Chili. It's tasty, comes in a nice-size portion, and the greatest thing is that since it's soup, you can skip the line and order right at the cashier. (Lunch lines do get discouragingly long, but if you're after soup and/or the well-stocked salad bar, you can bypass the line and save lots of time.) There are nice little lagniappes as well, like gingerbread muffins and soft-serve ice cream. What's a little surprising is that sometimes you get some very cool music playing over the speakers, a lagniappe in itself that sets Jason's apart from other casual chains that are pretty much guaranteed to be playing annoying crap at you. read more

The sanitation here is disgusting. As we were eating, we literally watched one of the kitchen workers do push-ups and tricep push-ups off of the dirty metal sink with her gloves on....and then immediately walk over and start prepping food without changing her gloves. Everyone here walks around with the same pair of gloves touching dirty surfaces and never changing their gloves before touching raw food. Good value! I have gotten the quarter mufflata special a few times. It's still a big sandwich and a cup of soup. I can't seem to fit the chips in my stomach after all that, so I eat those on another day. I've been going to Jason's Deli for years and I recently notice a big push for quality ingredients (not just the reliable/usual fresh stuff, but without junk in them). I got on Uber eats to get it delivered but called to confirm after got no email confirmation and was told cut off time to order for delivery was 6. This is not what Uber eats said. Girl was rude and so call ended abruptly. Why offer this service, serve food until 9 pm or so yet cannot deliver SOUP or salad even though I met the $35 minimum. Not what I expect from their customer service. With McAllisters, Panera and others closeby, one would think the Tortorice's would fix this random glitch. read more
