There are many places in town to get a sandwich but Jason's is one of my favorites. Lately I've been hooked on their "Reuben the Great" which is consistently excellent. I get mine with spicy mustard instead of the thousand island dressing. My wife and I prefer to dine in since the staff are friendly and the place is always clean. I must achieve a sandwich and I hoped to here but I did not. The sandwich slipped from my hopes and I saw it no longer. It was gone. I asked the boy for it he said no I said bye. I want no part in the heresy. I wanted a sandwich but I got the fruits or maybe the vegetable but they were harvested in a former era. I tried to park but there was a pool. I moved and there was another pool. I ended up swimming but I didn't want to. I wanted a sandwich not a summer. No diving board even, what is that about. I tried. They failed. I asked for the chips to accompany the thing but they didn't have much. I asked again and they delivered some but they were floppy and not generally crisp. They were not chips but maybe something else. Boys do not do it. They are not very great but they are famous. Fame is not evidence of edibility or enjoyabilty, but rather just indicitiave of scheming businessmen and a selfish ploys. I have tried and I have tried twice and again I do not like it. Today I visited Jason's deli about 3:30 in the afternoon. My wife and I noticed how unclean and dirty this restaurant truly was. Customers left food all over the floors and chairs. Most tables not even clean. I refuse to eat in a place that filthy again. I will not be back. read more

I have been addicted to their Plain Jane potato and their salad bar for over 20 years so this review makes me INCREDIBLY sad. It appears Jason's has cut their portions in HALF and kept the prices exactly the same. This potato used to be 2 huge potatoes put together with plenty of toppings to make every single bite sinfully delicious. There was a "small portion" option if you wanted just 1 potato but that's crazy talk to me. However, now there is only 1 size...the small portion..., the toppings are skimpy so I end up having to add more from my own fridge, and the price is exactly the same as it was for the regular. Then my husband's muffalatta wasn't toasted at all...it just showed up like any other cold sandwich with less meat and cheese in it than it used to have...again, same price as it used to be. The stars I did give are for the salad bar...it was assembled perfectly, still a generous salad, and worth every penny. Unfortunately, I normally need the potato so Jason's Deli just lost my business. It was a fantastic 20+ year run but I guess everything must come to an end. You will be missed, Plain Jane! They have removed the ONLY two items I ever even liked - The chicken and sausage gumbo AND the V-Jay sandwich. The V-jay wasn't all that big of a deal at first - they would make me the sandwich anyway - now lately, however, it's been off the menu for so long that nobody remembers it and they keep screwing it up even when I TELL THEM how to prepare it. Placed an online order. Returned home and was missing an item. This happens about half the time we order online. I called and spoke the the manager on duty who was very rude. She told me that I need to ask to have to order double checked each time. In a very rude short tone I was asked "is there anything else?" I love Jason Deli, but this time I will put am specific restaurant review, the Jason Deli #128, unfortunately I did not take a picture, but it was disgusting, my daughter saw it, we were in the line asking for our food, and they have a plastic box with bread full of mold, I could never imagine this could happen in this kind of restaurants, or probably in the back of the restaurant, but not in the products they put in the front, how many sandwiches they made from that box, before we reported to the manager, who only said this is disgusting and limited to put it into the trash there where the other employees were preparing the food, this was also disgusting, now the mold was everywhere in the front of the restaurant, I putting this comment because I want that they put mote attention in this and the people put more attention in this also before eat their sandwiches there. I won't be back to this location, which is unfortunate since it is close to my place of work. While friendly, the take out wait is very slow and service has been increasingly spotty over the past few visits (spanning over 4-6 weeks). Today while seemingly understaffed at the front end (and no one to take orders at the take out register), my 'field greens' were replaced with spinach - which does me no good as I am allergic to spinach. I am always careful about the items I order from this menu because of the allergy so to have my half sandwich fully loaded without even asking if the substitute was okay, was a bit disappointing. I guess I should have opened the food to look at it before I left. The fruit cup was not equivalent to the soup cup so if you're going for that manager's special, be sure you know that. All in all, Jason's is OKAY, but with the growing number of issues I have with this particular location, I will find somewhere else for lunch and opt to visit the Lewisville location for dinner if I am craving this particular establishment's food. read more

My family and I have been going to Jasons Deli FM for years. Their staff is always extra friendly and provide great customer service. You really don't see this often enough. I've gone to this deli several times and I always have great service. Not today. The cashier was on the phone so I waited and waited. Finally another cashier noticed me standing there while the other one ignored me and asked to help. As soon as I walked over to that cashier, the one ignoring me hung up her call. She then proceeded to tell Every person that left, to have a nice day. When I left, she again ignored me??? Honestly I did not know what I was expecting when I walked into "Jason's Deli." My first thought was "Jason must be a pretty great delist if he puts his own name on a deli." I run over to the ice cream dispenser and unzip my Lucky branded jeans and start filling up the tank. after several minutes, an employee of Jason's Deli requests that I leave. I counter that request with an offer that "we ditch this joint and head back to my place for a fun time." I saw the excitement in his eyes and he wrote his number on a napkin and out it in my mouth and hurried me out the door. I've visited this Flower Mound location twice - the first time my only complaint was service, the only available tables (about 10 tables) weren't bussed so people were just standing around waiting. Management didn't seem concerned at all. The 2nd visit I ordered the Nutty Mixed-Up Salad. Most of the greens were rancid and slimy (and yes, that was without dressing).
