Ian was very helpful. We came out for work from NY. We didn't want to air on that Starbucks line. I saw the Jason's deli sign and wanted a nice coffee. We went to open the door and they were closed. Opens at 10 and it was 9am. Ian opened up and asked if he could help us. And we said you don't open till 10 and he knew we needed our coffee. He let us in and he served us while others were working hard also. THANK YOU. We even put a little bit of soft serve ice cream in our coffee. You are def a great man. Jasons deli is a quick and easy stop when your on the go or have little ones who can't do a real sit down place. I typically order the muffaletta with turkey bc I love olives. I do the MGR special with the salad bar. This allows me the access to the salad bar for my child and it's only $1.00 upcharge so to me it's worth it. The salad bar has a decent mix of normal salad toppings and pasta/ muffins. The service is rather fast to get your order and there are always table cleaners walking around to clear tables and help new patrons find a spot. read more

This is our favorite place to eat. We visit here quite frequently. We usually get the salad bar. The ingredients are always fresh and well stocked. The fountain drinks are also pretty good as well. We have tried their Plain Jane potato which is delicious. Sometimes they do skimp out on the sour cream and butter so the potato will be dry but it can be easily fixed with extra sides. We've also tried the broccoli cheese soup which is delicious. The gumbo wasn't our cup of tea, it was very bland and tasted like it came straight from a can with no seasoning whatsoever. The kids menu food could be a little better, my daughter has tried all most everything and has disliked everything...but she's an extremely picky eater. She is finally settled on the gluten-free chicken nuggets which are okay. If you're looking for a casual laid back restaurant with your family then this is definitely a good place. Been going here for the seasonal beef stew soup and all you can eat salad with a drink. I know it seems they have changed managers since the years I have ate here. I didn't get his name but the tall guy with glasses has always been quick to ring me up on ordering foods and his friendly customer service stands out from past managers. Kudos to him. I just had a Turkey Breast Muffaletta sandwich today and nearly died from sheer delight. That thing was so yummy, I'm thinking about going back tomorrow for one. On their menu it's described as "Toasted sesame seeds crown golden grilled New Orleans muffaletta bread, spread to the edges with our zestful olive mix and antipasti with rich olive oil that meet in a bed of provolone melted over perfect folds of choice meats. Been here a few times and have no complaints. Is it the most amazing food ever? No, but you pay for what you get. It's relatively cheap and fast! With the salad bar you get free ice cream- always a nice perk. There's a lot of options and things to choose from. I am a fan of the mini ginger muffins on the salad bar. read more

I had the all-you-can-eat salad bar and a bowl of broccoli cheese soup. My husband wasn't too hungry, so he spent the $2.50 for chips & salsa. My daughter had the salad bar, too... so, what did we think? My daughter was happy. She's a fruit-lover and they had an apples & grapes mix she was crazy about. I was satisfied... but only because I filled myself up on the incredible soup. The salad bar was awful. Nothing tasted fresh. The ranch was vinegary, and the lettuce tasted old. I'm giving this place 5 stars because of the chicken panini and the super fresh fruit! Even when we came in late really late, the service and the food were great. Love this food and can't wait to try more. The fruit comes with this dipping sauce that's not too sweet and complements the fruit well. I love this place. The food choices are very good to me. I remember I chose one of the baked potatoes and once I received it... I felt full already!... the potato was the size of my forearm! It was awfully delicious, but sadly I couldn't eat the entire thing. I make sure to order the smaller portion potato from now on. ;) Definitely a nice place to have lunch catch up with friends. I go here for the 'do-it-yourself' salads and their tasty sandwiches/soups. This place has pretty much everything you'd expect for a commercial style deli. Great for lunch with clients or catching up with an old friend. You don't leave this place feeling like crap, that's for certain. read more

While most of the time, I've been pleased with my to-go orders at Jason's Deli, this time did NOT live up to my expectations. I ordered a half-sandwich/one-trip salad bar to go. What I received was barely a 1/3 California Club. I'd requested no tomatoes and the slimy seeds from a tomato were on my minuscule half sandwich, so while they corrected the mistake before it got to me, I still had to wipe off those awful seeds. This visit was well after the lunch rush hour -- 1:30 p.m., so I'm very disappointed. This was enough to keep me from returning. read more

It has a great amount of different foods that all are amazing and yummy! The only thing is that it isn't that healthy, I find it hard to eat a great heathy item there, but i still love it there. Plus they have a salad bar that beats out many and free ice cream at the end. Also it's a very fast lunch because you just go in and order and put it on your tray and sit down and no dealing with waitors or tipping! I usually come here 3 x a week for the salad bar to go. The kids salad bar size is the perfect size and was $4.97. I walked in today and they raised to price to $7.57. For the same size salad! I am fine with doing away with the kids size and getting a regular size to go but they gave the kids size at almost $3 more. And you don't even get meat. The only protein options are hard boiled eggs. I'm finding a new salad bar place. read more

Phenominal. I went here for lunch just because I happened to be nearby, and it was awesome. First, this place is crazy-busy at lunch time. I was early, about 11:30 AM, but by the time I sat down and was eating, the line was out the door! This is one of those places where you order at the counter and they give you a number and bring your food to you later. But this place was special in that they had a salad-bar that was open to you for free! Granted, the plates are tiny, but the idea is you won't starve before you get your lunch. I was asked if it was my first time here, which I've never seen before I moved to texas. I said it was, the guy comped my drink and said to make sure I check out the salad bar and grab an ice cream too! Yup - free soft serve here!!! So I spent what, 8 bucks on a sandwich, which was really really good in itself - but I ate like a king! Little corn muffins, crackers, had my sandwich and chips then a small soft serve cone to finish. It was too much food, but I felt I owed it to them to try it all! I love Jason's deli!!! read more

In a past life I had a lot of sandwiches from Jason's Deli. Maybe it was because their catering was easy, so that is what we always seemed to have, and I got pretty tired of some certain sandwiches. I have found now that, for me, the dining in experience at Jason's Deli is much better than the catering options. I think this is primarily due to the excellent salad bar. Those who know me best know that I like to eat meat, especially beef, so getting me to order a soup/salad bar over any other entree is quite a feat, but Jason's gets it done with quality, fresh, tasty offerings. Good solid American deli with food made of high quality ingredients. Great for families. Great, super-friendly service. Whenever I'm there, it's full of customers, but not overly crowded. Highly recommend the simple (but solid) salad bar. The "manager's special" half-sandwich+soup is my favorite go-to meal. Free soft serve ice cream cone for dessert is a definite plus. The food is as good as any Jason's deli, but the delivery is kind of slow and they forgot to include my pickle. I had to pay an extra $10 to have two full meals delivered, which was a little overkill considering my office is down the street from the restaurant. it was a hassle placing my order too, the person on the phone couldn't understand anything I said and it was rather frustrating. I have been a customer of Jason's Deli for many years. I also worked for the one in the state of Iowa. Since living in Grapevine, Jason's Deli has been a go-to spot for us. I was disappointed they took the salad bar away due to the "pandemic", however, the GM, Ian, is an amazing manager and always makes things right!! Ian has been very decent with people that have a medical/mental health exemption with the unlawful & non enforceable mask order. I am grateful for his kindness and the fact he has actually trained his employees NOT to harass people. I now eat there at least twice a week or more and send people there due to the excellent customer service. I also would add that his employee, Austin, is very approachable & has excellent customer service skills and treats people very well. Both are always a pleasure to visit with and I will continue to dine more often as I am truly impressed with Ian's demeanor and attitude while others have not been so pleasant in the area and lost our business. I have eaten at Jasons in Grapevine for many years but in December of 2014 I had dinner there and shortly thereafter became violently ILL. After throwing up nothing but Jasons sandwich for 4 hours I finally went to the ER. Long story short I called Jasons Deli the next morning and asked them to cover my insurance deductible of $250. The manager took my information and submitted it to his insurance. That insurance company (Travelers) told me there was no proof (the got my hospital records) that Jasons made me sick, and they declined my claim. Now that ER visit cost my Insurance company $2500 and me $250 .... so now I'm off to Small Claims Court. But be warned ... JASONS DELI does not stand by the freshness of their food or the cleanliness of their restaurants. read more
