Also, after a good work out I usually build a big appetite as well, and this is the place to go when I want something light, but filling. First, I want to let you know that I am a meat lover. I can never be a vegetarian because I would not last for more than 2 days. That being said, I couldn't believe I fell in love with something that didn't consist of meat. Alas, I have found the perfect, filling, delicious, spinach veggie wrap. I recommend this dish because it is bursting with flavors and coincidentally healthy for you too! This perfect spinach wrap consist of: organic spinach, homemade pico and guacamole, sprouts, mushrooms, asiago in an organic wheat wrap with a side of homemade salsa. I usually get extra salsa because I can't get enough of it. Also, it comes with a side, and I always get the mix fruit with champagne dip (the dip is what I look forward to the most). Having lived in a city that knows serious deli (NYC), this is a pale imitation. I have eaten here a couple of times and regretted it. The food just is not good. OK-I know Jason's may not be a top of the line deli (like in NYC) but for a quick and tasty lunch it is hard to beat. This location is close to both jobs and has quited the growling in my stomach on many occasions. Being a die hard Rangers fan I hate to admit but my favorite sandwich is the New York Yankee- a delicious corned beef, pastrami, and swiss on rye. Hate the name but it is a really tasty sandwich. The line is often long here-but they do their best to keep it moving. The staff is generally quite accommodating , and the place is clean. On Mothers Day, the people behind the counter were great. I had no issue with the service from the two guys that were working the registers. They had a crazy line that they were tag teaming to get through. They did great. I ordered two strawberry shortcake's to-go and, after ringing me up, the guy said they were out but could make some more if I was willing to wait. I said yes, so they started to do their thing. Then, a very rude, very aggressive (what I assume was a manager) named Ebony came up and started berating the two cashiers for taking care of my order. Saying that she "didn't have time to make it, but guess she will now." Then said to the guys that they need to start paying more attention and that she's tired of them playing and not taking care of the customers (among other just nasty statements). The guys were working hard and she was absolutely unprofessional to them with her little power trip. I feel bad for those guys working the registers and will never return to this location because of Ebony and her inexcusable attitude towards her employees in front of customers. read more

If you've never been to a Jason's, think of it as a nicer, more flavorful, version of a Subway with a wider variety of selection plus a salad bar and better cookies. This particular location always seems to take a while to get your food during the lunch rush, but it's not more than you'd really expect at noon in any other sit down establishment. I keep going back, so I'd recommend giving it a try. read more

I've had Jason's deli before and it's usually not bad but the meat quality of the food I had today was questionable. I would not suggest getting their roast beef after what I had today but I'm keeping my review on 3 stars based on previous experiences with this restaurant. Looking around Dallas for a true deli but Jason's Deli is up there with the best of them until another one changes my mind. The food is already good but they make custom orders and deliver all the way out here in Forney can't get any better than that. Lunch hours there is a line almost out of the door. Other than that it's a very good place to dine in and just relax with friends and enjoy some great food. The staff is very helpful,friendly and always willing to do accommodate your needs. Stopping by for a mid-day lunch with a friend looked over the menu and went with the deli club which was good everything tasted fresh. While sitting around chatting after our lunch looking over the menu and seeing that they had spicy seafood gumbo and being a fan of that style of food wanted to try to it but i had to ask them about it first. Walking up to the counter to talk roux just bringing up the gumbo they offered if i wanted to try to how could i not. Spicy kick, nice dark brown roux very good cooked rice this item makes it on my weekly delivery list each time. Other items i enjoyed are the big chef salad,club royale,santa fe chicken all great choices. Very good place to eat. It's very fast paced. People go in and out an you seem to always find a seat to eat. One person, from many that work hard there, really stood out. Braulio was extremely attentive and hard working when it came down to getting the plates up from the tables , cleaning the table, and getting the table ready. Filthy dining area. Debris everywhere under tables and table legs, left behind after tables had been cleared. Made me doubt the cleanliness of the food prep area, salad bar, drink counter. This place needs to be broken down, floor scrubbed and disinfected along with all the dining furniture, glass windows cleaned and employees better trained. I wish I could give negative stars, because this place does not deserve even one star. I made a delivery order to provide free lunches for teachers at a local elementary school. I asked them to deliver at 10:30 a.m. By 11:00 a.m., the next day, the school reported no lunches had been delivered. The lunches were finally delivered an HOUR LATE at 11:30 a.m., which means several teachers did not get to eat during their lunch period. Did Jason's Deli apologize when I first called and asked where our food was? No. Did Jason's Deli offer me a discount on food delivered an hour late? No. Did Jason Deli corporate office answer their customer service complaint line? No! I had to get a girl from accounting to answer the phone, who told me she would report my concern - and that was over an hour ago. This place doesn't care about teachers and this place doesn't care about customer service. Avoid it like the plague. I will and that's a promise. read more

Good food, harsh prices. I love their baked potato more than anything, and their array of sides is delicious too. But coming from someone who literally CAN NOT drive over there to pick it up, their delivery prices are outrageous. Already you are put on a later schedule, and then they insist you make AT LEAST $20 worth of purchases, BEFORE the high-taxes and driver's fee. That $20 meal easily just became a $30 purchase. For that price, I'd kind of expect my potato teleported to me, with extra cheese. read more

I have been going to this Jason's Deli for years. I have never had a bad meal. The "atmosphere of the deli reflects attitude of the management. From the bus boys to the delivery drivers, they are all trying to be personable making your experience a good one. This is the result of the GM Cisco Ramirez. He trys to personally greet everyone. This is a pretty good sandwich shop as they go. No, it's not a NY Deli and it's not a mom and pop operation. It's a chain, but it's a change from the same ol' same ol'. The best part of this location is they deliver and deliver pretty far. We've had them deliver as far away as Seagoville for lunch. I recommend the NY Yankee and the Rueben. I am not big on chains. (Love the small deli's, the mom and poppers) That said, I never had a bad experience at any Jason's and I always felt like I got my money's worth with the huge portions of grub they give ya! I ordered a Plain Jane spud, wasn't in the mood for anything too fancy and when it came out, I felt like the State of Utah had mutated their spuds cause it was HUGE. After running a radioactive detector over it to make sure the I wasn't about to ingest something that would make me glow later, I gnashed, gnarled and gnobbled ( I know, spelling but I was staying consistent) that spud into submission but it was like Man VS Food. I lost. Had to take half of it home so it will be the late night snack as I watch Attack of the Killer Potatoes..lol ( Again, I know, Tomatoes but it's my review..lol) So this Jason's was clean, courteous and quick to bring out the spud. (But I wonder why she was in a radioactive outfit and served it out with tongs?) That is a good thing by the way, I love the potions you get! read more

I had a craving for a Rueben the other day, and happened across Jason's Deli and took a chance that it might be decent. Wow! The last time I had a Rueben was at a little deli in Utopia, Queens, NY and it was horrible compared to the one I had at Jason's. Jason's rye bread was perfect, not too thick... the sauerkraut and corned beef portions were just right... I was really impressed... they used a non-traditional dressing.. but it was great too. The price was under $10, and it came with chips and a kosher pickle spear... the portion was enough to split with another person... so I had the other half for dinner. :-) read more
