Find the most flavorless swiss and slap between 2 slices of cheapass bread that is nowhere near rye. You're good to go. This chain has gone down hill big time. read more

This Jason's Deli has really been disappointing me lately :( I recently moved here and was SO excited to have a Jason's Deli to go to again as the city I previously lived in didn't have one. The first time I went the unsweet tea tasted REALLY wierd. I did squeeze a lemon into it...maybe the lemon had been sitting out too long and had absorbed all sorts of food odors and that's what I was tasting? Not sure if it was the tea or lemon but it was totally undrinkable. The second time I came I picked up the Italian Cruz Po Boy to go. When I got home with it, it was missing THREE ingredients, ugh!!! I suppose I should have called and asked for a refund because that is unacceptable, but I didn't. Hope things improve here because I really do love Jason's but it's a bummer being disappointed each time I go. read more

I love the food here. I always get the salad bar and usually a half sandwich or potato. However the last two times I've been I watched my food sit on the end of the counter for over five minutes. The first time it happened the manager walked past it 3 times and was ultimately the one who brought it time. This time my food went up as I began making my salad and still had been delivered when I sat down. So I said screw it and went and got it myself. No one even noticed. This isn't so much of a deli as a giant cafeteria. I mean, they have deli sandwiches and such, but much more, and they give you a number, you find a seat, and they bring the food out to you. I found it all to be a little overwhelming at first. I felt pressured in line to figure out quickly what I wanted, so I darted over to the "take-out" side of the restaurant, sat, and perused the giant menu at my leisure. I had a tasty ham sandwich. I like that they offer the option of a "slim" sandwich--sometimes I get grossed out by a huge pillar of deli meat. So when ordering it "slim", they cut the amount of meat slices to about half, and it was still plenty. They offer pizza, sandwiches, wraps, soups, and even baked potatoes with all the fixins. I've had a couple of the soups and they were tasty. They also offer free soft serve ice cream (emphasis on "ice") with every order. The prices are a little high, in my opinion, for what it is, but given the close proximity to my house, I'm sure I'll be back here and there. read more

This location of Jason's Deli is super convenient to my office. I love Jason's Deli because they offer gluten free bread for sandwiches. This is so had to find ESPECIALLY at a chain. They also clearly mark other menu items as to whether they are gluten free. The tomato soup is gluten free and yummy, so pretty often I order just that and a gluten free grilled cheese. It's the little things in life you miss when you're gluten free, and this is such a comforting meal. But it's also nice to be able to run out and get a sandwich if I forget my lunch or don't have time to pack one. Their salads are fantastic too and you get such big portions! There's nothing I can say about the food here that others haven't covered. Instead, I'll focus on another angle: employees. This location does a wonderful job of employing a very diverse workforce and they work in all parts of the restaurant. They employ a great amount of immigrants from our friendly southern countries and they ensure that the pay is equal and that promotions are the same. Quick, tasty, and moderately priced. Also, the potatoes were as large as my face. The cashier was friendly and pointed out the full menus tucked away in a container across the register. Feeling particularly festive, I ordered the full Pollo Mexicano baked potato. I took my number and a plate of baby cornbread muffins from the bar and waited at the table. The server came out and presented what appeared to be a slightly smaller, deformed football garnished with sour cream. The blackened chicken, a welcome surprise, was smothered beneath a blanket of cheddar cheese and pico de gallo and complimented the potato perfectly. There is also the free frozen yogurt. It is delicious and, baby corn muffins and mega-potato already consumed, I definitely made sure to grab a cone. Not a bad meal for $7.00. I would highly recommend Jason's Deli for lunch if you're in the mood for a wide variety of sandwiches or potatoes the size of your face. Hello, my name is Julianna, and I'm a salad-bar-oholic. I feel a little goofy reviewing a chain that I'm pretty sure everyone already knows about, but I just can't hold back from giving their salad bar the credit it is due. There's a wide variety of very fresh vegetables, pasta and bean salads, croutons, and a ton of dressings to choose from. Aside from the salad bar they've got a plethora of sandwiches and other offerings--but all I've ever gotten is the salad bar and a plain baked potato. I am a creature of habit. Why not five stars? I think some of their menu items (the aforementioned baked potato) are a bit overpriced, and I don't like their ordering setup--it's confusing if you've not been there before because there are menu items up on a board but also a printed menu. If you're in line behind someone who doesn't yet know what they want, you can get stuck there awhile because the menus are only up at the register. Either put menus by the door, or put all the menu items on the board behind the register--like Panera does. The hybrid system makes for inefficient ordering. All in all, I prefer Jason's to other similar restaurants in the salad and sandwich category because I feel their offerings are healthier and I prefer being able to make my own salad to having it made for me. I'm always having to ask to have things taken off of salads at other places (croutons, fried tortilla strips, cheese, etc.) so it's nice to be able to come here and make my salad exactly how I want it. The only other salad bar that compares in terms of quality is Whole Foods, but their prices are WAY higher. I think this would be a good place to come with kids or a group--there's a bit of something for everyone on the menu--and there is plenty of seating and parking in the lot outside. Great place for lunch or a fast dinner--or a post-gym meal if, like me, you're trying to be healthier. read more

I enjoy going to Jason's Deli. They are under $10, but I still think that it is on the high side for a sandwich, but you get what you pay for. And with that said, when you visit Jason's Deli you will get a high quality sandwich that is busting out with meat and flavor. If you order something at Jason's Deli, and you don't like it, then they problem is not with them as you just ordered the wrong thing for your taste buds. But we should always try something new, the only way to know if you like it or not is to order something different. They have a wide menu of sandwiches and they have their own line of potato chips. My favorite soup in the world is Broccoli Cheddar soup. For me as I have high standards for food I will only order Broccoli Cheddar soup at 2 places, and this is one of them. The only problem with the soup was the bowl was not big enough. But if you are not sure if you want to eat a whole bowl or not, they will let you have a little sample before you order it, which is great. Overall they have a wide variety of foods to choose from, so they are worth a visit. read more

The staff is friendly and helpful - they make your food fast and bring it to your table - which is so helpful when you're trying to get 2 kids settled in their seats. Everything was packed nicely including our sandwiches, chips, individually wrapped dill pickle slices, napkins, utensils, seasonings, condiments, and mints. I had the Shelley's Deli Chick with chicken salad embedded with almonds and pineapple topped with lettuce and tomato on a toasted croissant. The ingredients were fresh and enjoyable. I took my wife out for lunch, she suggested Jason's Deli . It was right down the street from her office. I have never been to Jason's Deli and I was not real thrilled about going there. She said " No No you will like it. I will buy you lunch ." How could I resist. We walked in and I looked around a cafeteria I thought. Looking at the Menu I found a sandwich that I liked. It was a California Sub. It had sprouts, guacamole and turkey. Anything with sprouts and guacamole , I am a fan of. It was a cafeteria style line but the food is made fresh and not wrapped up or on a dish to pick. we got our number and found a seat. Rather large seating area, so no problem in finding a seat. A few minutes our food was presented to us and it was delicious. I was observing the help cleaning as people left and tiding up the place. I have to say Jason's Deli was a pleasant surprise. Absolutely fan-freaking-tastic! Stopped in today with the family. We shared our sandwiches, a Reuben and pressed Cuban, then indulged in the fresh salad bar and free icecream. Our 2 year old loved, loved, loved the humas on the salad bar. We came in at about 1:00 on a Sunday afternoon. The place was packed and very clean. The line was about 5 people deep and only took about 4 minutes to place our order. We found a seat and headed to the salad bar. Clean and we'll organized. Whoever was in charge of the bar certainly takes a high level of pride in their work. It was perfect! By the time we selected our plate of deliciousness, our sandwiches were at the table. I order regularly for my office from this location. The last time I ordered, they forgot to include the requested fruit cups, but did correct the charges for that. I realized later that they charged the ticket for 4 cookies that should have come with the orders (but, I never addressed this). Today, I ordered for another group. One of the salads was missing 3 add-ons that require an upcharge. When I called, I was told that absolutely, they placed the 3 items in the larger bag (not in the individual bag for that order). I had unpacked all the individual bags, and the add-ons were not in the bag. Upon further investigation, they were not in anyone else's order bag, either. It is upsetting that I have been charged 2 times in a row for upcharge items that were not included, and 1 time was charged an upcharge that should have been included. Although, the food is delicious, I am going to have to consider my options for future orders. So sad. I discovered later that the Salmon Pacifica Salad has NO Salmon! read more

Jason's makes for a socializing atmosphere which can satisfy many different palates at a very reasonable rate. There is a wide variety of sandwich selections with very generous portions. I have been to 4-5 locations. This one is the worst I've ever been to. The staff is inattentive, has no apparent sense of purpose. I ordered the salad bar and drink from the kiosk. No one was available to provide a plate, silver and cup. After a bit, a woman came by and looked at me like "what do you want?" Asked for my plate. I'm always impressed how Jason's has nice cold plates. This one was actually hot. Many of the prepared salads were all but empty. Jason's Deli serves up good fresh food fast. They pride themselves on healthier food options; they claim their food is free of trans fat, MSG, and HFCS. I think the food is delicious. Their sandwiches are generous and are always fresh. The salad bar has plenty of options. They have staff regularly stock and straighten the salad bar, so it doesn't look like a tornado just blew through it. There's lot of choices on the kids menu. Mac and cheese is one of the two foods my son will eat reliably, and at JD, it doesn't look like they cook up a box of Kraft and dumped it in a bowl. You order your food at the front of the restaurant, and they give you a number so you can find a seat. They bring your food out to you when it's done. JD is family friendly. That means it's often loud and crowded and kids are milling/running around. It's also popular with large groups coming from church apparently. EDIT: Another thing. Jason's Deli is my go-to place for to-go salads! They have an excellent variety of items at the salad bar from the standard fresh veggies to pasta and potato salads to dessert puddings and yummy cornbread mini-muffins. Fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, cottage cheese - they have it all. I love it! The best thing about the Jason's to-go salad is that they don't charge on weight. So - about $8.50 for a large to-go box and two sides will provide enough for me to have lunch for at least two days! But I should mention... if you dine in, you can have soft ice cream for dessert. They have an excellent variety of homemade soups that rotate regularly. They are also known for their delicious muffalata sandwiches and I'm particularly fond of their olive tapanade they use for them. So delicious! This place gets pretty busy for lunch but they have a separate register for to-go and takeout orders that keeps things moving right along. The dining room is large and the tables rotate fairly quickly. We've never had trouble finding seating. Parking at peak times might be a bit of a problem as the lots get full very fast and overflow into the business next door. We love Jason's deli for lunch because the food is always fresh and delicious so it only made sense to have them cater an event we had today. We ordered a catering tray for pick up, since we are about 30 minutes away we are outside the delivery radius. It was quite a large order so I didn't notice until I got home that the juice boxes for the kids tray weren't in the bags. When I called to inform the manager to ask if I could just get a credit or a voucher of equal value to use later she did not hesitate to get my address and send a delivery driver over with the juice boxes in a bucket of ice so they would already be cold when they got here. That level of customer service is missing in today's environment. This was the first time I ever used their catering services but I will definitely be using them again! read more
