They spent 4 days totally repairing all the wood damaged and 1 day on paint. I want to specially call out that our main carpenter Adrian F. did a great quality job and addressed all of my concerns. There is another carpenter Eric who worked one day with Adrian who also did a good job. The tenting was done and scheduled accordingly. We also had Daniel come in and perform the bora care treatment professionally. There were some hassles in between including the underestimation of number of days that were needed for wood repair. Scheduling issues that 5 days of repair work got scattered into 4 weeks. The first day one carpenter put a dent on my brand new AC unit when he hammered down the fascia board. Also one section of the wood support was not done right, more than 2 rafter tails in a row got cut the roof eave so it was sagging and caused us a panic. They sent their manager to address our concerns and assure that it was corrected and that the correct work would be done. The carpenters fixed the previous mistakes and did great work in the end. So overall not a smooth experience yet I am willing to give it 5 stars because they did honor the original quote, and ended up doing more wood repair than originally quoted as it was discovered during the process. Thus going above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the work despite the initial issues.

Since we've been doing this service the amount of ants we get has drastically reduced. Used to get them on a daily basis in the summer and now they only pop up once in a while, I quickly and easily arrange the service and the bugs don't come around for a long time. Traditionally bug sprays and deterrents you buy at the store weren't working for our house in North Torrance which is notorious for ants. Thankful to have the service as I'd previously have to clean the house a lot and make sure there wasn't a spec of food out or accidentally dropped on the floor. Couldn't even leave food in the cupboards, had to have it all in the fridge all summer long before. We also used to get cockaroaches on a weekly basis but since we've started the quarterly cleaning service, I haven't seen a single one in almost 2 years. I love how quick and easy the service is because a lot of times when professionals come to service the house you have to clear your whole day, interrupting your work or whatever you are doing. I explained to him I had dealt with subterreanean termites that were treated with powder. Then I told him the same company treated some kitchen cabinets with bait. Then explained another company found the same dry wood termites inside and out. Near my front and back porch. Was treated. Inside where the skylight was. Treated there. The lights in my kitchen were opened and guess what termites? He put bait in about 6 overhead led lights. Then found some in the one bathroom and opened up a glass enclosure that had wood inside. He treated that also as it had termites. So I told him they are coming down the skylight. Well his answer was call a handyman. To seal it. Then I asked him to please check out the roof. Well no can do for him. One was on the bedspread and I photographed it. He claims it wasn't a termite. Then explained I had to use a bug zapper to keep them out when they came down the skylight. So he tells me he sees nothing. Call your previous termite company. You bet I will. This is someone who does not do his job. Wasted our time and a no care attitude. Just because they aren't swarming now does not mean anything. Because once the heat starts they will be here again. Thanks a lot for nothing! Bye the way. He blamed me for various things like questioning why he wanted our crawl space 100% open during his trapping. He lied and said he removed and reset traps when he did not. I was home on the days he said he was there, my dog barks, and I checked the trap several times a day. This guy simply was lying about resetting the trap. He abandoned our house completely for 13 days. After a skunk sprayed under our house a second time while Daddys Pest Control was supposedly helping me with the problem, the smell was so bad we couldn't be in half our house for 3 days. I fired him. I hired a much better trapper who in less than 24 hours trapped and removed the skunk for half the price. Basically I paid this man $500 to do nothing, and a different guy $250 to trap and remove a skunk. 2 stars for his responsiveness to the first call and coming out to get the first $500 check and set a trap two or three times with cat food that caught a possum that was not the problem. Zero stars on actually doing what we needed him to do. A competent trapper getting the job done quickly with 24 hours of firing Daddy's Pest Control is all you need to know. He might be great for ants or bugs, but look elsewhere for bigger pests like skunks or rats. I am not trying to kill anyone's livelihood here, but this man is definitely not your guy for skunks or rats.

Unfortunately this is the experience I had with Daddy's Pest Control. I made the stupid mistake of hiring them a second time for a rat problem after having a pretty lackluster experience with them the first time. I understand that there are issues with my unit but that does NOT excuse the terrible customer service and followup received by this company! My tenants found a dead rat from one of the traps that was set but like the previous reviewer said, they did not come back in a reasonable time period which lead to maggots. The number of excuses for not showing up are endless, "we were on vacation last week," "I'm currently out of town,". I paid for 4 visits but due to the awful customer service and followup, I had to request a refund for the last visit. Over $700+ pretty much down the drain. Got the feeling and vibe that once the money is received, you're sent to the bottom of the priority list and it's onto the next customer.  Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones and have an experience like the 4-5 stars reviews on here. Just be aware, you've been warned, don't be surprised if you have an experience like mine and the other 1 star reviews.... I had gotten quite a few quotes from various vendors for tenting and trenching Termidor and Nykor provided a no-tent solution that was priced competively and only a few hundred more than the traditional methods of tenting/ trenching, and they offered the same 2 year guarantee that all the competitors offered. They worked with me to inspect the home and noted their findings and gave me a very clear invoice and quote to my email. I had a good experience for a whole home Termite Service from Tony and Chris, they arrived promptly on 3/31/2026 and proceeded to treat the bare wood areas of my home inside my garage and inside my interior home attict, and also the subteranean area under my home and base boards per their quote. The service took about 2.5 hours and it was relatively painless beyond some overspray clean up on my appliances and lighting fixtures, they were very clear to cover and remove any paper items like books, and I moved everything off the walls for the interior spraying as best I could per the instructions. The service went well, and as it takes time to see if the treatment worked given that they sprayed Termidor, I cleaned up all the frass/ termite droppings i could see in the affected areas and I will ask them to come back next year around this time for an inspection or If i see more activity and once the 2 year guarantee is over, subscribe for them to come back to inspect and do a treatment of any newly affected areas. The only issue was they charged me the wrong price at the end but promptly refunded the amount and charged me properly, which is one of the most honest things I've seen any vendor do, then their payment went through the next day.
