The location itself is super small and at times cramped depending on how crowded the events were. I did enjoy the tofu pudding here, but I do admit that their drinks could have been better. Did I ever go out of my way to get the drinks here? No. But did I come out here because they helped and played such a vital role in building a community? Hell yes. Thank you so much for the memories

I was hoping to have my own AE86 built and ready when I finally stopped by, but maybe for the new location. As an honest critique of the actual storefront, the appearance and decor is very charming. In a very bright, Japanese themed cafe kind of way. But because this is an Initial D themed drink and snack spot, I can see this being a place where mostly guys use this place as a meet-up hub. Especially for a small car meet. Very niche right? Especially for the dying breed of 1980's 1990's - 2000's JDM cars. That said, how many guys in the city could you actually get to come here regularly for soy and soy-based accessories, drinks, and snacks? The dessert was okay, and I wasn't in love with the drinks. Light, tofu refreshing, but not captivating. Personally, the menu doesn't appeal to me, since I try to avoid soy since it tends to be a pro-estrogen consumable. I don't think they had to box themselves in into being a purely tofu-only cafe. They could sell tofu products, and also have something simple but repeatedly addictive; like In-n-Out, Wurstkuche, Howling Ray's, Tea Master Matcha Cafe, Savoy, Langer's, etc. The closest idea I can think of that would be forced into tofu would be like really excellent, authentic mabo tofu, agedashi tofu, or like a karaage or Tokyo fried chicken style fried chicken with a mabo tofu dipping sauce, heavy on the ma-la flavors. Hell, I might even stop by more if they imported more car parts, from like Impulse, TRD, or Apex'i. But the way the AE86 market is, it makes more sense to sell online to the global niche. Wonderful atmosphere and mood for the Initial D/MF Ghost/Subaru to Subaru fandom. It was fun just to follow on instagram and catch a glimpse of all the influencer personalities in the car community stopping by. I'll look forward to what their next Project T(ofu) looks like. See you next time, Space (cow) boy. Oh-oh-oh. I need you babe.

Stopped by on Saturday, 7/18/26 for the second time. Ordered at the kiosk (there was a long line…read moreafter me): - 1 mont blanc soft serve = $9.20 This was basically matcha soft serve with a noodle-shaped like filling on top which has a red-bean texture to it; it's not really my favorite but can tolerate it. Overall I would just refer a plain soft serve.

6/14/2026 STRAWBERRY…read moreCREAM MOCHI Mochi itself was a bit too mushy. Cream tasted like pocky strawberry. There was another strawberry jelly in the middle bringing more strawberry flavor. The cream didn't taste bad, but the mochi was mushy and it was off-putting to eat. MATCHA CREAM MOCHI This was more of a matcha strawberry flavor than matcha cream filling. The cream in the middle was strawberry and regular whipped cream. The outside was dusted with matcha powder. The matcha powder was not good and immediately had a fishy smell. Matcha tasted like old matcha with a bitter flavor. The filling wasn't bad though. The mochi texture wasn't bad either. BLUEBERRY MATCHA LATTE The matcha was very poor quality. It did not taste like matcha, but more like jasmine tea. Appearance-wise, you can see the green color of a matcha, but it tasted like floral jasmine tea. The blueberry jam or compote did bring a light blueberry flavor, yet it was not strong enough to carry the flavor through when mixed with the matcha. Overall, it tasted like a floral, fruity jasmine tea. Not good, do not recommend at all! SELF-ORDER KIOSK There's a self-order kiosk at the front. That's the only way to order. The screen was big and it was easy to navigate. You get a receipt with a ticket number afterwards. CUSTOMER SERVICE Very little interaction with the staff except when you pick up your order at the front. So have nothing more to add. NO SEATS Take out order only. This was an underwhelming experience. Will not return.
