Spent: $2,332.54 Services: Wedding Cake, Desserts & Ice Cream This was unfortunately the vendor we were most disappointed with which was a recommendation by Calamigos. Our initial interactions with James was great--he is a genuinely kind person--but the final product was not what we expected. The biggest issue was the wedding cake itself. It looked nothing like the inspiration photo we had provided. We ended up making last-minute changes because we were so unhappy with how it looked. There also wasn't any check-in leading up to the wedding to review the final design. While we certainly could have reached out ourselves, I also think it's reasonable to expect some proactive communication from the vendor before creating such an important centerpiece. Beyond the appearance, the cake itself was very dry and lacked much flavor (many of our guests complained). On the positive side, guests said the ice cream was delicious and they liked the other mini desserts but I don't believe it was enough.. One additional note is that I don't believe two staff members were necessary for setup and breakdown, especially since that also required providing two vendor meals. We had them cater for our wedding last month and it was PERFECT. They do so many fun mini-desserts and have an amazing tasting set up before you go to purchase with them. Wow! We have nothing but amazing things to say about James. We tasted desserts with him for our wedding and immediately fell in love with his offerings. My husband and I had a great time at the tasting, and James has some very innovative flavors with his ice cream & sorbet. I normally don't like chocolate cake, but his was so delicious that we had to go with that one. James was very accessible, and anytime I had to talk to him, he was very easy to get a hold of. He is also very flexible with the amount of desserts he will create. For example, if you want less ice cream, you can add more signature desserts. When I saw the cake he created on the day of our wedding, I was amazed. It was exactly how I wanted it. The coloring, the simple yet beautiful design, it was a piece of art. I first tried their tofu flower cheesecake back when they were doing a collaboration with Teatitude in Diamond Bar. I can't tell you how excited I was to finally try the unique dessert that had been sweeping my social media! I actually went back to Teatitude multiple times just for the mini tofu flower cheesecakes, as it was more convenient than the ordering/ pickup process from Mr and Mrs Creamery. Sadly, it looks like that particular collab is over with now. Anyways, because it's made with tofu instead of just cream cheese, the dessert is light and airy, and lightly sweetened. It had a distinct tofu-like texture, which paired perfectly with the sturdier graham cracker crust and sweet ginger syrup that it comes with. I really love their OG tofu flower cheesecake, but they do offer an assortment of other flavors on rotation, so I finally ordered one of the other flavors directly from MM Creamery recently - strawberry guava. It was good, but my favorite is still hands down the OG tofu flower flavor. There are a couple of other flavors I would eventually like to try though, like pandan and pistachio. The reason I haven't ordered from Mr and Mrs Creamery directly before a few weeks ago is that you have to order online ahead of time and select a scheduled pickup time on their limited calendar availability. Their unique cakes and ice creams quickly made me interested in checking this place out. Decided to order the classic tofu flower cheesecake and white rabbit ice cream. Picking it up was very easy. When I got there, I waited outside the door, told them my name, and someone opened it only to hand me my desserts. No need to walk into the building. The tofu flower cheesecake is much lighter than your regular New York cheesecake and not excessively sweet. It's texture is just like the Chinese tofu flower dessert. The brittle crust paired well with this. The white rabbit ice cream was kind of disappointing. It tasted like a mix of vanilla ice cream and condensed milk, nothing exciting about it. For $10 a pint, it is overpriced. The size of the cheesecake is also quite small. These were great for a one-time purchase, but I wouldn't buy them again, considering the prices. I think it's because they used to solely do only catering for parties and weddings and birthdays, etc. Up until now there wouldn't be a reason or occasion for me to cross paths with Mr. & Mrs. Creamery.. Until Covid happened... Because big social gatherings are forced to be canceled and hence all the catering opportunities out the window... And now Mr. & Mrs. Creamery decide to expand their business to take out and individual orders.. (Only in that way is it open to the regular public). Oh wait, so what are they known for?! What do they make!!!!! They make.. tofu cheesecake!!!!!! Gasp!! I never heard of this concept before so I was obsessed to try. I actually tried to drive there myself but couldn't find it.. Even if I did, I wouldn't be able to buy any.. You have to order first. They don't actually have a shop because it was solely just a kitchen for catering. Okay, so first let's talk about the original tofu flower cheesecake. This is just plain tofu cheesecake with a light sugary crust that is a bed for the soft, silky, smooth tofu cream. It has the consistency and smell of tofu. It also even feels very close to flan consistency! It also comes with a sugary sauce to dribble over for some extra sweetness. (But mind you, it is lightly sweet). This is like the asian version of an American cheesecake. "It's not too sweet." It also looks like a pie... Now every week, Mr. & Mrs. Creamery comes out with a new menu for flavors of the week in addition to their other usual cheesecake flavors (Vietnamese coffee, black tea boba, etc). This past week was ube tofu cheesecake so Anh also got me that so that she could try it. Ube tofu cheesecake was goood... Although I can still smell a hint of tofu, the ube totally masks the tofu flavor. In this case, I think it's the fascination that the cheesecake is made of tofu. Eating it to enjoy the mere consistency and texture of tofu flavored with something else. It came with little white tapioca soaked in coconut milk (I think....)? It was very good but I think I prefer the original tofu flower cheesecake. They also have unique ice cream flavors (mostly Asian inspired). THIS. WAS. SO. GOOD! One good thing that has come out of this pandemic is that a ton of us have found out about M&M Creamery. I was actually recommended this bakery by some people from church, but I also realized that a ton of people were posting delicious cheesecakes from this very same bakery. They're most active through their IG site, where they update a weekly menu and post pictures of their most recent desserts. I believe they were primarily a wedding/catering dessert company, but switched gears during this time. I placed my order through Instagram and pick-up was relatively simple. Came home with a carton of their sea salt chocolate chip cookies ($8 for 10 large cookies) and the TTF cheesecake ($15). Cookies were pretty good, but the sea salt was a little heavy-handed; some bites of cookies were a little too salty. But that tofu flower cheesecake (doufu hua) was amazing! It was a little smaller than I expected - it's 7", but each bite was pretty mind-blowing. The cheesecake itself was light, airy, yet so rich. It tasted exactly like the Asian dessert, which isn't too heavy itself. There's a ginger syrup that you can pour on top, giving the cheesecake a little more richness and flavor. While I really enjoyed the tofu flower cheesecake, I think I was pretty impressed by that graham cracker crust. There's probably a ton of butter that went into the crust, but it was so crumbly and rich and sweet that it was hard to not keep eating more. I ended up ordering another one of these for a co-worker's birthday. The one that I took to work actually tasted heavier than the first one - a little more cheesecake flavoring and not as light. After a few weeks, I ended up ordering the tea-ramisu (tea and coffee) tofu cheesecake for another friend's birthday ($15). The ordering process is now through a website where you do have to pay tax with the option of tip. They send you alerts for when and where to pick up your order - super helpful! The tea and coffee cheesecake was also very light and airy, definitely a dessert that you can eat more than one slice of without feeling guilty. There was a subtle flavor of tea and coffee, but you still got that lightness from the tofu. This also came with the graham cracker crust, which I enjoyed but I did think the original TTF cheesecake was slightly better. tl;dr - Overall, super glad to have found this new dessert place in the SGV. The storefront is located on Live Oak behind the CVS in Arcadia where you can quickly park your car and pick up your desserts without a hassle. It was a matter of time before I ended up ordering from here after seeing it all over my social media. After seeing the latest release of their new U-Bae (taro and purple yam) Tofu Cheesecake, I caved and made my order for pick up. Note: Make sure you enter 146 *WEST* Live Oak for the address. I left out the word "west," which left me in an empty CVS parking lot and made me late by 15 minutes. Maybe that's just me, but in case anyone ends up making the same mistake I did. Once arrived, you hear a voice behind a door for your name and order. James, himself, packed up my bag and the entire process was quick and easy. Following my purchase, I received follow ups and feedback via Instagram, which was nice. For my order, I went a bit all out and ordered the original Tofu Flower Cheesecake ($15), U-Bae Cheesecake ($15), White Rabbit Condensed Milk Ice Cream ($10), and Brown Sugar Oolong Ice Cream ($10). The cheesecakes are only about 5inches wide, so quite petite and gourmet. While the flavor was nice and subtle, I did find the graham crust falling apart for me. They did a great job pairing the flavors with the syrups on the side as well. As for the ice creams, the white rabbit one was what I was most excited for except it turned out a tad too sweet for me. It's still tasty and definitely worth a try though. What really won me over was their oolong ice cream. A slight bitterness from the oolong helped balance the sweet to reveal a true tea flavor. I would definitely get this one again --so underrated! Overall, the desserts here are tasty and very Insta-worthy. I wasn't completely wow'd by the cheesecakes, but the unique asian flavors were inventive. Also, great flavors for ice cream as well that you can't find anywhere else. Covid review: After seeing all the pictures of the cheesecake from Mr. and Mrs. creamery, I finally decided to come and try some of their desserts. I ordered through the online website and it was very easy to do. They're constantly updating what they have for the week on their social media so there's always new flavors coming out. On the website it does say sometimes they do run out on certain flavors but they say they replenish them after 5 o'clock so just in case the one you have your eye on is unavailable. When I arrived I parked on the street. It did take some time to find out where their actual space was located at. They do have some small signage outside their door. I wasn't really sure what to do so when I got to their door it was locked. I was kind of confused since you can't see inside either. Then I noticed the doorbell on the left of the wall and I was quickly greeted by one of the workers. She then asked for my name and then she confirmed my order and gave me my cakes shortly after. We ordered the Pandan Coconut Sago Tofu Cheesecake and the Vietnamese Coffee Tofu Cheesecake. Both were $15. The textures are very creamy and it's not like your typical American style cheesecakes so you'll be thrown off if you're expecting something of that consistency. *Visited during Covid-19* So there's a SGV Covid-19 Facebook group out there and back when I joined, there were a bunch of posts about Mr & Mrs Creamery. Since I was intrigued about their Tofu Flower Cheesecake, I decided to get that! At the time, I contacted them through Instagram (IG handle: mmcreamery) and let them know my order. James responded back that Venmo/Zelle/Quickpay were accepted and after setting a pick up date and time, off I went! After getting the cheesecake and their ginger syrup ($15) and looking at the size, I realized I could have ordered more.... kinda pricey when you look at the size (7") but after you eat it, you'll understand why. It's light, airy, and does not have any indication that any tofu was in there (haha I'm not a fan of tofu). The ginger syrup ends up giving it a bit more of a flavor bomb if you so incline. Glad I tried this one! The crust isn't like a normal pie crust- it's a bit heavier, sweeter, and a bit harder to cut through. After perusing through their Instagram again, I saw they had their mango sago tofu flower cheesecake. Now they are accepting orders through Tock (During May Chase Sapphire gave 5x for Tock for some reason) but you do have to respond back with a IG handle as well after you place your order. For me, the mango flavor felt a little gelatin-like and I wasn't really a fan of the mango flavor. The base of tofu flower cheesecake was still excellent though. They're slowly innovating new flavors though haha- I think they had matcha come in as a flavor as I write this. I'm so happy about Mr. & Mrs. Creamery. This is my happy place during COVID times. I have tried two desserts and they were both delicious. My first trip here was to pick up their rising star, tofu flower cheesecake. This cheesecake is life-changing. After eating this I haven't wanted to eat any other cheesecake. The tofu cheesecake is light and fluffy and amazing good. Since I was craving for the tofu flower cheesecake again, I was ready to put in an order but saw that they were offering the tea-ramisu cheesecake. I actually found out about Mr&Mrs Creamery from Facebook's "SGV Open Restaurants during COVID19" group. Good comforting desserts is definitely what we need while working from home! From their Instagram you can order via direct message and pay through Venmo with James. Curbside pickup is from their main kitchen in Arcadia. My friend and I decided to split an order to share. The TFF Tofu flower cheesecake was what intrigued us at first, but the ice cream and the cookies sounded wonderful as well. We all enjoyed the cheesecake with ginger syrup, it was just like having the delicious Hong Kong dessert. The soy sexy (soy sauce) and Oolong ice cream was unique and tasty. I didn't get to try the cookies because I had delivered that to my friend. I would definitely love to try the sorbet pushpops in the next run. WOW!! This cheesecake was so delicious, I went and got some for my parents to try, too. Step 1) Order online with ease, and call in if you have any questions. I experienced a quick call response, that was super-thorough and pleasant. Step 2) Pick up is easy too. The door is non-descript, but buzz the intercom and someone comes right out. I even called ahead to ask about arriving earlier than my pick-up time and it was all good. I tried the Tofu Flower Cheesecake flavor (a.k.a. the Original). This review is for their Tofu Flower and Mango Sago Cheesecakes. Both are delicious! And yes, at $15/$18, it's a little pricier for what it is, but let's be real- are you really going to make this on your own?! NO! That's what I thought! Now that I've tasted both side by side, get the Mango, hands down! The mango flavor is the jammy sweet kind and the fruitiness really gives the cheesecake more dimension. The Tofu Flower was my favorite before they came out with all these other flavors. Now, it's bland in comparison but still really good! Just very light and subtle flavor and lightly sweetened - so Asian parent approved! I honestly think they don't add enough toppings per cheesecake, but whatever! Also, don't expect a typical dense cheesecake texture. It's made with tofu so it's light and airy (like an Asian panna cotta). And the graham cracker crust is so reminiscent of childhood, but yes, not as complex as you would expect at that price point- however, the crust really compliments the light cheesecake texture and flavor! Also it tastes like they use almost the same base for both cheesecakes. Also, you can't compare this to Uncle Tetsu. They are completely different. Tetsu is great warm, light, spongey, more cream cheese flavored and cakey. This tofu dessert is meant to be served cold, has an actual crust, and reminiscent of Tofu Flower or Taho . It was kind of last minute decision to decide we wanted to provide ice cream in our wedding (we decided to have it about 3 months before the day), and I was lucky to find Mr and Mrs Creamery! James was responsive and easy to work with. I didn't get a chance to get tasting, but he gave me the ice cream list and allowed me to choose up to 6 flavors. I chose to have Oolong Tea, Lavender, Coconut Ube, Hojicha, Strawberry and Lychee as my flavors, and they all tasted good! Pre-ordered online via Tocktogo and picked it up. They usually do orders for weddings and events, but have now opened for regular business due to COVID. Beware! The cheesecake sizes are much smaller and isn't your average bakery size. I rarely spend $15 for a cheesecake, but this is definitely worth it! Taste: I like that all the cheesecakes are very light and not too sweet. It's not thick where it'll make you full. We ordered the blueberry lavender, tofu flower (comes with a sweet syrup), matcha latte, Vietnamese coffee, yuzu lemon meringue (has to be placed in freezer), and red velvet light cream cake (much smaller in size). My favorite is the crust! It kind of taste like graham crackers. The cheesecakes that have a stronger taste is the Vietnamese coffee, yuzu lemon meringue (slightly tart), and matcha latte. read more

Their Original Tofu Cheesecake is deeelicious! It's light and fluffy, slightly sweet so you don't feel so bad consuming the entire thing at one sitting (which I did). I haven't used their syrups with the cheesecakes before since I'm fine without it. Ubae tofu cheesecake is good, too, but I'll stick with the OG. Cookies are okay, not my fave, but perhaps it needed to be paired with their ice creams? Dunno. Will be back again. So yummy! read more

We found out about Mr & Mrs Creamery like most others on this page - through their online pie sale during the pandemic. We were lucky we found them, and was able to convert them to our wedding dessert vendor! We connected with James and set up a dessert tasting session. During which, we had sampled 5+ different desserts, 17 different ice cream flavors, and 5 different cake flavors! Talk about variety! My husband and I both have an insane sweet tooth, and had to take a very scientific approach to ranking all the desserts and flavors we enjoyed during the session for our wedding. It honestly is so rare to have an ice cream truck at a wedding, and Mr & Mrs Creamery is famous for it. Don't skip on the ice cream, or at least don't make up your mind until you've gone to the dessert tasting! I also love the ode to Asian specifically Cantonese culture with the flavors that James & team had developed these years (white rabbit, black sesame, li hing miu, etc.). James was very professional in helping us from deciding the quantity of desserts all through cake design. He personally called me few weeks before the wedding to ensure all the details were set. On the day of the wedding, everything was set up beautifully by his staff, and the dessert were a hit! We barely saw the desserts, and the ice cream bar formed a line! James also stopped by our wedding and brought more cookies, despite having 5 other weddings his staff was working during the same exact day. Talk about dedication to your work! Everyone loved the dessert and ice cream, and I could not have asked for a better dessert vendor. **During Quarantine Review ** I recently discovered this dessert shop that uses tofu for their cheesecake. While I'm unsure if it's a healthy alternative to sweets in general, the 4.5 star rating on Yelp did peak my interest to see what it was all about. Mr. and Mrs. Creamery in Arcadia is a catering business, but during this pandemic is operating with a pick-up model. Guests would select a time on their website (https://www.exploretock.com/mmcreamery) - usually Thursday - Sunday, up to a week in advance, and order right on your personal device. For my transaction I decided to try two different artisan pies 1) Grandma's Hot Chocolate Tofu Cheesecake and 2) the Yuzu Lemon Meringue. Both were $15 a piece, with an added $1 fee, tax, tip etc. The Hot Chocolate was very nostalgic of chocolate pudding, but the Yuzu Lemon Meringue was very unique and I would definitely order that again! It had a nice citrus tang to it and it paired well with the creamy filling, and graham cracker crust. It was very light for a cheesecake and I think makes for an excellent finish to a meal. I also loved the cute decoration they put on each pie, as it looks like a lot of care went into making each one. They sell other sweets including cookie dough, ice cream, etc. and my friend and I wanted to try their Yakult Ice Cream. Unfortunately that was sold out so I'll be sure to know to order right when the dates open. So, if you're looking to spice up your dessert game, go check 'em out! I'll admit when I first heard of a Tofu Cheesecake, I didn't have high expectations. While I do enjoy cheesecake and tofu, separately of course, I didn't think the combined dessert would be good but Mr. and Mrs. Creamery proved me wrong. I wasn't the one who ordered the cheesecake for my picnic so I'm not sure how the ordering system works. My friend picked up the Hojicha and Black Sesame and wow was I impressed! The cheesecake was light and airy from the tofu without all the extra calories of cream cheese. The crust was very crunchy and lightly sweet. I really liked how the cheesecake was the right amount of sweetness and didn't feel too heavy. I definitely want to be back and try more flavors! read more

I was introduced to Mr. and Mrs. Creamery through my sister who, like me, enjoys trying a lot of the different offerings. Since then, I have regularly gone back to try new things on their menu. Mr. and Mrs. Creamery is known for their tofu cheesecake, which may sound weird, but is a lot less sweet, rich, and thick compared to the typical cheesecake (aside from Japanese cheesecake, of course). Even though it is made with tofu, it is NOT vegan as it also contains cream cheese. The flavors are generally Asian-inspired, such as pandan coconut sago; black sesame; matcha. I honestly have not had any flavors that I didn't like. There seems to be regular changes in the menu so check back for new flavors! One of my faves is the strawberry yakult. I've also tried a few ice cream and cookies, which are good too! I've only tried the pistachio ice cream, sea salt chocolate chip cookies, and pandan cookies so far. I'm excited to try more ice cream flavors, like oatmilk strawberry, white rabbit condensed milk... who cares if I'm lactose :) I recommend checking the menu early and putting in your online order on exploretock. Pickup is very simple and quick - you pick a day and time slot and show up! It can be a bit confusing when you get there because it's literally a locked, white gate. i have been following Mr. and Mrs. Creamery for quite some time but because i'm in san jose i never had the chance to order their cheesecakes until recently when visiting SoCal. I ordered Tofu Fa Cheesecake, Tea-Ramisu Tofu Cheesecake and a pint of japanese milk + hojicha ice cream. My family never had tofu cheesecakes before so this was real treat for them! they always thought regular / normal cheesecakes are too rich and heavy so to them these tofu cheesecakes were perfect! they were not overly sweet or rich. We all really like the tofu fa cheesecake with the side of ginger syrup. My family loves ginger and the syrup sure had that strong ginger flavor! they all loved it! $15 per cheesecake and to me i can only feed 2-4 people haha! We had 6 adults and honestly it was just a sample for each one of us. We could easily eat more! The pie tin is about 7" not the standard 9" (i wish they would put it in a 9" though) definitely will order again before i head back to norcal! read more

Introduction: I stumble across Mr. & Mrs. Creamery on a particular day while browsing Yelp in an attempt to find a dessert place. When here, there are two things I recommend: their Japanese Milk Hojicha ice cream and their Tofu Flower Cheesecake. Food: Japanese milk Hojicha ice cream: Ever since coming to Mr. & Mrs. Creamery, their Japanese milk Hojicha ice cream has become my favorite ice cream. The reason I like this particular ice cream is because of its flavor: it reminds me of medium-roasted Oolong tea. Hojicha, first of all, is Japanese green tea except it doesn't taste like conventional green tea(s) because it's been roasted and thereby giving it a robust and complex flavor profile that's commonly found in Chinese Oolong teas. Besides the flavor, the texture of the ice cream is smooth, balanced, and wholesome: one won't feel burdened after consuming it. Tofu Flower Cheesecake: Tofu Flower is a common Cantonese and Chinese dessert that's made from tofu and often eaten with the addition of ginger syrup. Mr. & Mrs. Creamery's Tofu Flower Cheesecake is very close in terms of flavors and texture in relation to the actual tofu flower dessert: I'm very surprised during my first bite of the cheesecake. The texture is clean, smooth, and light with a faint density due to the presence of the cheese. The cheesecake, when eaten with the ginger syrup, is just like eating a bowl of tofu flower except in cheesecake form. I am impressed with the establishment's ability to take a classical Asian dessert and presenting it in the format of a cheesecake: this shows not only skill, but also creativity on their part. I saw my friend post on social media that she bought their mooncakes and durian ice cream, so I checked out their page and saw they were selling a durian tofu cheesecake. I wish they indicated the size of the cheesecake or even indicated how many servings it is, like some of their other cakes do (by the way, it's about 6.5" wide in a 7" pan). It's not a tiny cheesecake but I do love my sweets so it was definitely way smaller than I expected, especially for the price. The ordering process is easy, just use the ordering link, https://www.exploretock.com/mmcreamery (it's also linked on their Instagram) to select a date/time for pickup and then start your order. It's timed so just be aware of that. It looks like you can only order for pickup on Friday, Saturday or Sunday and they are only making them available a week at a time (you can't click forward to the next week). When you arrive just look for the number of their address on the building (you can't see their company name sign from driving by). I as able to park right in front on the street and walked up to the door. Their main door is open and there's a white metal fence that is closed. They can see customers come up to the door because as soon as I got to the door they greeted me and asked what my name is (at no point could I see them during this interaction, just hear the voice). I asked if they needed my order number (I had a screenshot pulled up on my phone) and the guy said no he just needs to know my name and what time. I had shown up on time but I told him the time of my order just in case. He asked me to wait a moment while he gathered it for me. Another customer showed up behind me and although there's no tape or signs on the floor on where to social distance wait in line, she kept her distance. It didn't take long at all and he came out to give me my mooncake and the durian tofu cake in a plain white gift bag. He was wearing a face mask. Afterwards I received an auto populated email thanking me for my visit. Box Set of 6 Mochi Mooncake: Tofu Flower, Yuzu, Brown Sugar (two of each) for $30 - these were not what I was expecting at all. Besides the shape, it doesn't remind me of mooncake. I did like the cheesecake part though. These seem to be the hot ticket item as they were sold out a couple times I checked, so I'm glad I tried them. King Durian Tofu Cheesecake: tofu flower cheesecake topped with durian pearls & coconut cream for $25 - this was so good! I would give the flavor of this durian tofu cheesecake 5 stars. It's just the perfect amount of flavors and not too sweet, it's light and fluffy, and oh so so good. I just wish it wasn't so expensive - it's their most expensive cheesecake on the menu. read more

Coming from an event and wedding planner's stand point -- I love working with James and also love tasting AND eating is desserts and ice cream. I keep telling so many clients and friends of mine that he has the best cake ever. It's as though an American/caucasian pastry chef was combined with a Chinese/Asian baker. You know how American baked goods have butter cream that's too sweet but the cake is good and then you have Chinese bakeries where their cream is not super sweet but the cake is too soft? Well his has the best of both worlds. What else I love about James is that he can custom design and create. I always like to create something new with him. When we got engaged in 2018, one of the earliest vendors we booked was MM Creamery. My now-husband and I have a big sweet tooth so we were especially excited to book our wedding desserts. We booked a tasting session with James in 2019 and we loved the creative cake and ice cream flavors so we went ahead and booked them for our 2020 wedding. Once the pandemic started, we had to postpone our wedding several times and James was very accommodating to transfer everything over to our new dates. In the meantime, we also did get a chance to help support his business during his "Be Safe Bake Sale" and loved being able to purchase pints of his ice cream and other yummy creations like tofu cheesecake :) Finally it seemed like our wedding was gonna be able to happen in February 2022. I saw on MM Creamery's Instagram that they started offering boba bar services! Despite not being able to taste any of the tea (no tasting offered at this time for the boba bar), we trusted James and jumped into adding it onto our wedding package. Fast forward to our wedding day, James told us there would be 2 members from his team coming to serve the boba bar and ice cream, so we were so pleasantly surprised to see the man himself stop by! James came by to personally deliver our his/hers boba cups to us and even took a picture with me haha! As for his assistants, they were excellent! Very efficient and professional, and they were also able to place our custom stickers onto each boba cup as we requested :) As for the desserts themselves, wow everything was such a hit! The guests loved all the delicious desserts that pretty much everything was "sold out" since it was so popular! We are extremely happy with the services provided by MM Creamery and would definitely recommend them. They provided a lot of complimentary little touches that really took it to the next level for us: the heart-shaped boba straws, the adorable signs and decor for the boba/ice cream booths, cake cutting knife & server, and dry ice for the dreamy fog during our cake cutting! All in all, it was the taste and quality of James' desserts that caught our eye, but it is the excellent service and attention to detail that really make him and his team stand out above the rest. read more

James, the owner of Mr and Mrs Creamery, is so personable and easy to work with! I had the pleasure of trying their desserts several years back at a friend's wedding, and didn't realize that they moved their location to Arcadia until recently! I saw a few posts via Instagram that they were doing bake sales during this Covid period since all the weddings and events had been postponed this year, so luckily we got to order from their bake sale for my daughters birthday. It was last month when venue spaces were opening up, so they were not only busy with the bake sale but also packing in the weekend with the postponed events from last year. I called the number listed on Yelp and was able to speak to James right away and asked him if I would be able to place a bake sale order online for Friday pick up since I didn't see online availability for that day. He was so nice and assured me that it would be no problem--they were just trying to figure out scheduling to accommodate the bake sale on top of the rescheduled events. On the day of the pick up, everything was ready. He had the petit cake in the box and the ice creams packed in a bag for us to go. He even gave my little one a popsicle as a birthday gift.
