We had James and his team provide desserts for our wedding in September 2024. His desserts were beautiful and delicious. My husband and I had a great time at the tasting, and James has some very innovative flavors with his ice cream & sorbet. I normally don't like chocolate cake, but his was so delicious that we had to go with that one. James was very accessible, and anytime I had to talk to him, he was very easy to get a hold of. He is also very flexible with the amount of desserts he will create. For example, if you want less ice cream, you can add more signature desserts. When I saw the cake he created on the day of our wedding, I was amazed. It was exactly how I wanted it. The coloring, the simple yet beautiful design, it was a piece of art. The entire setup of the dessert table impressed me, too, and we had so many compliments on the dessert. If ever we need to provide dessert for an event, we will definitely turn to James & his team first. Thank you for providing such wonderful desserts for our wedding!

Did an amazing job catering desserts and wedding cake for our October wedding. Our guests raved about the all the mini desserts. James has an amazing team who arrived and set up a beautiful display for the dessert table, they also created a dry ice effect during our cake cutting that wowed our guests (and us!) highly recommend for your for your event or wedding.

So happy to work with James as our boba unity, Ice cream and cake vendor! They have an amazing staff and all their dessert are so delicious!! My guests couldn't stop talking about it! Everyone were super helpful and professional! Truly made our dream wedding. Thank you James for being a truly great vendor. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a boba/ice cream vendor for their wedding!

I first tried their tofu flower cheesecake back when they were doing a collaboration with Teatitude in Diamond Bar. I can't tell you how excited I was to finally try the unique dessert that had been sweeping my social media! I actually went back to Teatitude multiple times just for the mini tofu flower cheesecakes, as it was more convenient than the ordering/ pickup process from Mr and Mrs Creamery. Sadly, it looks like that particular collab is over with now. Anyways, because it's made with tofu instead of just cream cheese, the dessert is light and airy, and lightly sweetened. It had a distinct tofu-like texture, which paired perfectly with the sturdier graham cracker crust and sweet ginger syrup that it comes with. I really love their OG tofu flower cheesecake, but they do offer an assortment of other flavors on rotation, so I finally ordered one of the other flavors directly from MM Creamery recently - strawberry guava. It was good, but my favorite is still hands down the OG tofu flower flavor. There are a couple of other flavors I would eventually like to try though, like pandan and pistachio. The reason I haven't ordered from Mr and Mrs Creamery directly before a few weeks ago is that you have to order online ahead of time and select a scheduled pickup time on their limited calendar availability. The earliest pickup time is 3 pm, which unfortunately doesn't usually work with my calendar. Otherwise I would definitely order their tofu cheesecakes more often!

We found Mr & Mrs Creamery through our venue (Castle Green in Pasadena) and they were incredible every step of the way! It was such a joy to try all their amazing desserts at our tasting with James, and our guests were so excited by all the different selections (especially the unique ice cream flavors)! Everything looked beautiful, and we were so thrilled with how it all turned out. Thank you for helping us having the most magical day!

COVID PICK UP The whole process was simple and easy. .:: Order Process ::. Step 1: go on www.exploretock.com/mmcreamery Step 2: click on Order under Be Safe Bake Sale Pickup Step 3: pick a day and time slot Step 4: select sweets!!! Step 5: go pick up, no clear signs but it's a brick building and a fenced door, ring the door bell upon arrival and give them your name and time of order. Step 6: pick up sweets and enjoy! .:: Dessert ::. Tofu Flower Cheesecake $15 (plus tax & service fee $19.43): decadent and not too sweet. so really good for Asian parents and those who prefer less sweet desserts. The cheesecake is velvety, and what you imagine tofu flower to be with the ginger syrup. The crust is thin and crunchy. Tbh, the size of the pie is much smaller than I imagined. Matcha Tofu Cheesecake $15: more sweet than the tofu flower cheesecake but still a good balance where I feel asian parents would still like. This one is good enough on its own with a good subtle kick of matcha but not bitter. .:: Service / Parking ::. No storefront, just kitchen. Again, I only talked to them through a white fenced door, but the woman who gave me the cheesecake was friendly. I got my order immediately with little to no wait time. Found parking right in front on the street.

Must order online beforehand on exploretock! Pickup times are 3-6pm. Location: Looks like a street of business offices. Street parking available. Pickup was really easy although James scared me because you can't see much behind the gate and someone was talking to me LOL. Got the original Tofu Flower Cheesecake ($15 + tip&fee = a little over $20) as a gift. It was smaller than I anticipated. Those who ate it said it was really smooth and very mellow in flavor on its own so definitely use the ginger syrup. They couldn't tell it was supposed to be doufu fa but they really liked the texture and how light it was, nothing like an actual cheesecake or pie.

Their unique cakes and ice creams quickly made me interested in checking this place out. Decided to order the classic tofu flower cheesecake and white rabbit ice cream. Picking it up was very easy. When I got there, I waited outside the door, told them my name, and someone opened it only to hand me my desserts. No need to walk into the building. The tofu flower cheesecake is much lighter than your regular New York cheesecake and not excessively sweet. It's texture is just like the Chinese tofu flower dessert. The brittle crust paired well with this. The white rabbit ice cream was kind of disappointing. It tasted like a mix of vanilla ice cream and condensed milk, nothing exciting about it. For $10 a pint, it is overpriced. The size of the cheesecake is also quite small. These were great for a one-time purchase, but I wouldn't buy them again, considering the prices. However, I would still be down to try the other cheesecakes, like u-bae and pandan coconut sago. I do love the presentation of their cakes, very aesthetic. I can see why it is popular as a catering service for special events.

Rating: 3.5 Order Of Operations: 1) Go to instagram handle: https://www.instagram.com/mmcreamery/ Check out the weekly offerings and choose what cake, ice cream, or bake goods you want to order. 2) Place order on exploretock.com: https://www.exploretock.com/mmcreamery 3) Arrive to the pickup point at your designated date and time. You can't pick up your cake no earlier than 45 minutes before your pickup time. James will greet you. State your purpose and time of pickup. He'll then proceed to give you your order. Location: Located NE direction of Persimmon Ave. and Live Oak Ave.. Parking can be found along live oak ave or on persimmon ave. Service: Service was straightforward and most of the heavy lifting on your part is through the exploretock ordering website and transactions are done through credit card. So no handling of cash at all. Pie Of Choice: Black sesame tofu cheese cake. Thought the cheesecake was alright. I do agree with the other yelpers that it was light and airy. The main cherry topper for me was the graham cracker crust. I was eating more of the crust than the black sesame tofu cheesecake itself. Then I got myself sick from eating all of the crust. :P Pie For Thought: $15 for a gourmet pie? For that price, I was expecting something astronomically YUMMMMMMMMM-O! Sorry, didn't really hit the spot for me, but shouldn't deter others from ordering and indulging for themselves. I can now say..... I finally tried this fabu..... tofu cheesecake that everyone has been raving about through social media.

I think it's because they used to solely do only catering for parties and weddings and birthdays, etc. Up until now there wouldn't be a reason or occasion for me to cross paths with Mr. & Mrs. Creamery.. Until Covid happened... Because big social gatherings are forced to be canceled and hence all the catering opportunities out the window... And now Mr. & Mrs. Creamery decide to expand their business to take out and individual orders.. (Only in that way is it open to the regular public). Oh wait, so what are they known for?! What do they make!!!!! They make.. tofu cheesecake!!!!!! Gasp!! I never heard of this concept before so I was obsessed to try. I actually tried to drive there myself but couldn't find it.. Even if I did, I wouldn't be able to buy any.. You have to order first. They don't actually have a shop because it was solely just a kitchen for catering. Okay, so first let's talk about the original tofu flower cheesecake. This is just plain tofu cheesecake with a light sugary crust that is a bed for the soft, silky, smooth tofu cream. It has the consistency and smell of tofu. It also even feels very close to flan consistency! It also comes with a sugary sauce to dribble over for some extra sweetness. (But mind you, it is lightly sweet). This is like the asian version of an American cheesecake. "It's not too sweet." It also looks like a pie... Now every week, Mr. & Mrs. Creamery comes out with a new menu for flavors of the week in addition to their other usual cheesecake flavors (Vietnamese coffee, black tea boba, etc). This past week was ube tofu cheesecake so Anh also got me that so that she could try it. Ube tofu cheesecake was goood... Although I can still smell a hint of tofu, the ube totally masks the tofu flavor. In this case, I think it's the fascination that the cheesecake is made of tofu. Eating it to enjoy the mere consistency and texture of tofu flavored with something else. It came with little white tapioca soaked in coconut milk (I think....)? It was very good but I think I prefer the original tofu flower cheesecake. They also have unique ice cream flavors (mostly Asian inspired). THIS. WAS. SO. GOOD! Tasted exactly like oolong tea with the milky aftertaste. Yes, like oolong milk tea. BRILLIANT! So refreshing and crisp to eat on a hot, hot summer day. Loved it! I am definitely a fan of Mr. & Mrs. Creamery now and will need to take advantage of exhausting their other menu items before they go back to strictly only catering!!!! But who knows, maybe Covid will inspire them to open their client base to also single orders. Pros: -tofu cheesecake! -unique flavors -ice cream -weekly special flavors Cons: -Order ahead only (email and phone) -Location is difficult to find

It was a matter of time before I ended up ordering from here after seeing it all over my social media. After seeing the latest release of their new U-Bae (taro and purple yam) Tofu Cheesecake, I caved and made my order for pick up. Note: Make sure you enter 146 *WEST* Live Oak for the address. I left out the word "west," which left me in an empty CVS parking lot and made me late by 15 minutes. Maybe that's just me, but in case anyone ends up making the same mistake I did. Once arrived, you hear a voice behind a door for your name and order. James, himself, packed up my bag and the entire process was quick and easy. Following my purchase, I received follow ups and feedback via Instagram, which was nice. For my order, I went a bit all out and ordered the original Tofu Flower Cheesecake ($15), U-Bae Cheesecake ($15), White Rabbit Condensed Milk Ice Cream ($10), and Brown Sugar Oolong Ice Cream ($10). The cheesecakes are only about 5inches wide, so quite petite and gourmet. While the flavor was nice and subtle, I did find the graham crust falling apart for me. They did a great job pairing the flavors with the syrups on the side as well. As for the ice creams, the white rabbit one was what I was most excited for except it turned out a tad too sweet for me. It's still tasty and definitely worth a try though. What really won me over was their oolong ice cream. A slight bitterness from the oolong helped balance the sweet to reveal a true tea flavor. I would definitely get this one again --so underrated! Overall, the desserts here are tasty and very Insta-worthy. I wasn't completely wow'd by the cheesecakes, but the unique asian flavors were inventive. Also, great flavors for ice cream as well that you can't find anywhere else. Big thumbs up for the oolong ice cream specifically! My biggest turn off is how pricey this is for the small portions. Of course this is gourmet and a small business, so worth noting.

Mr & Mrs Creamery typically supports events like weddings and parties. Due to covid19, they've expanded their business to regular orders as well. The Pasadena location listed is where they have consultations. Their Arcadia location is where they bake and distribute. FOOD Tofu flower cheesecake, Tea-ramisu tofu cheesecake, cookies - All good. It's like a regular cheesecake but the part that is normally cheese is a lighter tofu consistency. SERVICE Great service. Right now you can order online and choose a pick up time. Covid review: After seeing all the pictures of the cheesecake from Mr. and Mrs. creamery, I finally decided to come and try some of their desserts. I ordered through the online website and it was very easy to do. They're constantly updating what they have for the week on their social media so there's always new flavors coming out. On the website it does say sometimes they do run out on certain flavors but they say they replenish them after 5 o'clock so just in case the one you have your eye on is unavailable. When I arrived I parked on the street. It did take some time to find out where their actual space was located at. They do have some small signage outside their door. I wasn't really sure what to do so when I got to their door it was locked. I was kind of confused since you can't see inside either. Then I noticed the doorbell on the left of the wall and I was quickly greeted by one of the workers. She then asked for my name and then she confirmed my order and gave me my cakes shortly after. We ordered the Pandan Coconut Sago Tofu Cheesecake and the Vietnamese Coffee Tofu Cheesecake. Both were $15. The textures are very creamy and it's not like your typical American style cheesecakes so you'll be thrown off if you're expecting something of that consistency. One of my friends had told me that before so I was aware of what to expect. Both flavors were really good and I'm definitely wanting to see what new ideas they come out with.

Softer than boba, soft like jello, yet has that chewy, gooey texture. Not my favorite texture, but glad I tried it. I just saw that they had black sesame flavor too, but I was in such a rush, I must have missed it on the menu. Comes with a little bottle of brown sugar syrup, which is rich in brown sugar flavor and quite sweet too. When poured over the warabimochi, it does only taste like the brown sugar syrup. I would recommend that you eat the warabimochi with ice cream. I didn't order any at the store, but ate the ice cream I had at home. Choice of ice cream was Straus Family Creamery's Vanilla Bean. It didn't overpower the warabimochi flavors of the matcha or kinako, it simply added more creaminess and additional texture to the dessert. Also, you can get a firmer texture when you put the warabimochi in the fridge overnight, which I thought was much better and enjoyable to eat. HOJICHA CLOUD Very good hojicha flavor. But mostly it is cream. Hence, the name Cloud. I got it 100% sweetness and I asked for warabimochi pieces added to the drink. They give you a boba straw to drink. Warabimochi was very soft, light chewiness, cut into smaller pieces. The drink was very slightly on the sweeter side, but it's that or 50% sweetness level. There was a lot of ice in it, which means there's less hojicha drink too. Got it in medium size. Small size and medium size cost difference is 0.75 cents. Best to get a medium size. There's also a large size, which is much bigger in comparison to the medium. STRAWBERRY MATCHA CLOUD This had a good matcha and strawberry flavor all around. They also added warabimochi in this drink too. The matcha is a cream top and the rest is strawberries with milk. It tasted good and not overly sweet. This was 100% sweetness. Personally wished there wasn't any warabimochi in it, but it automatically comes with the drink. Did not realize there would be any in it too until after I ordered it. I would reorder the drinks. Maybe order one without warabimochi though. I would try their other drink offerings too. I haven't tried their black sesame warabimochi, so might return to try that one. Their bingsu and toppings all blended so well together it felt like I was eating a Chinese/Korean açaí bowl. It felt like a very light dessert and I could keep eating more of it. Some bingsu's are a bit more decadent. This place was just right. The bingsu was light and the texture was perfect. It wasn't too icy like some other places. Service was excellent! The cashier was kind and patient. We received our order quickly. There is plenty of seating inside the store. Bingsu Bingsu is located on the promenade side of the Arcadia Westfield mall. There is plenty of parking all around the mall. Would highly recommend this bingsu shop!

Lots of mango pieces covered with passionfruit jelly (dripped with mango and passionfruit puree). You also get a scoop of ice cream (flavor of your choice) ) on top of your bingsu, and I chose vanilla. Very refreshing on a hot day! There are a handful of seating inside, so can be pretty crowded when busy. Good value as the large portion size is plenty to share for two. Parking wise, can be a pain in the you-know-what at this mall, especially on a weekend or during a holiday.

I have been going to Moo Moo Mia for a while now and it has been one of my favorite delights when it comes to craft ice cream. They offer monthly flavors along with some more original staples and lets be honest, with summer looming, knowing a great ice cream spot is always a must. There are monthly flavors so I recommend swinging by early in the month to check out what great flavors they have cooked up. At the time of my visit, I was hooked on the Strawberry Koldski which was inspired by the Danish roots and a mix of sweet and tart Strawberry. I got a double and I simply wanted more. My go to, is the Oreo and Cream which is one of the best Cookies and Cream variants I have ever had. Everyone is super nice and you can have tastings of the different flavors until you land on one. Trust me, some flavors hit on different days! The shop is in the famous Monrovia shopping area, which adds to the allure of visiting. Parking is free and sitting and having a cup of ice cream in one of the benches is such a treat. Swing by and chill and enjoy some great ice cream! Cheers!

It is shared with other businesses, but I didn't have any problem The cafe is a small family owned business. It was clean and organized with indoor seating. It has inviting and relaxing vibes. The menu includes; various assortment of tea, milk tea, three color dessert, smoothies, matcha, fruit tea, coffee, and espresso. In addition to tea cakes and muffins. They offer also some savory snacks. The cafe was clean. The young lady who received our order, was very nice and friendly. They had an offer to buy two drinks and get the third free. So, we ordered the following; -Mango Strawberry Smoothie 5/5 The tropical flavor of mango mixed with sweet strawberry gave the drink creamy flavor and velvety texture. It was heavenly. - Strawberry Matcha 5/5 The drink was perfectly sweetened and refreshing. Then, we found out that if you buy six items from the bakery, you get the seventh free. We ordered the following from the bakery; - 3 carrot Tea Cakes 5/5 I really enjoyed this carrot tea cake. It had coconut and raisins. The texture was incredibly soft and rich in flavor. It's a must try! - 1 apple cinnamon Tea cakes 5/5 - 2 Almond Tea cake 5/5 - Chocolate Muffin 5/5 We enjoyed our drinks and the fresh tea cakes and muffins. This cafe is a hidden gem in Arcadia. I will definitely come back to try more drinks and enjoy their delicious tea cakes.

The smoothie was lacking flavor for me, so I wouldn't order it again. It's a newer restaurant, with great promotional deals right now to check out. There's also tons of seating! Great spot to meet up with friends and family, or for a quick stop too. Can order through kiosk or at the counter. I'm planning on coming back to try their food and more of their drink menu!
