Food: 5 stars Value: 5 stars Location: 5 stars Service: 5 stars So for some reason there are two listings for Jazzy's on Yelp - this is one of the best places to go on island so I feel compelled to review it again! The quick and dirty: Jazzy's has the best fish tacos on Maui. Their handwritten chalkboard sign is NOT exaggerating. Don't be fooled by Jawz's fancier sign or the tourists lining up. Go to Jazzy's. Their fish and shrimp tacos are incredible, the ceviche tostada is amazingly refreshing, the nachos are huge and fantastic (I'm partial to the al pastor option), and their smoothies are all fruit - no sugar added. Come here and enjoy, and check out big beach (Makena beach) or Maluaka beach while you're there. You'll be glad you did. Pro tips: 1. Call ahead to order (this also confirms they're open before you make the drive out). 2. Take your meal to Maluaka Beach and eat at a picnic table. read more

LEGIT! AUTHENTIC!!! The best best BEST BEST shrimp and fish tacos on maui!! After snorkeling nearby we got hungry and decided to stop here for some tacos, started off order 1 fish and 1 shrimp taco just to try it out and see how good it is. OMG BOMB DOT COM!! We ended up ordering a shrimp and steak burrito after and we couldn't stop saying how yummy and delicious it was~!! All of the food was cooked and prepped to order, you can hear the sizzling of the protein on the grill, the tortilla were nice and crisp~!!!!! Unfortunately we tried coming back two times, but they were either not opened yet or no where to be found :'( I'm so sad I didn't get to have this again before leaving Maui. but next time i go back, i totally know where to go! Yes it's not everyday you stop for some Mexican food in Hawaii BUT this spot is a MUST. I was actually shook at how delicious it was. Close to the beach and great after you've spent a few hours there and your stomach is speaking to you. I'm so glad we decided to try it out because every dish was phenomenal. The shrimp enchiladas was my favourite, I haven't had a good enchilada in awhile and I was super satisfied after. Don't miss out please !!! read more

It would be nice if they update Yelp and Facebook with their hours or if they decide to takes day off so people don't make a trip out here for nothing. The prices are pretty reasonable for Hawaii prices. They have fresh tasting tortillas which is also a plus. There's a competing food truck next door called Jawz but their reviews were so bad I went with Jazzy's and it didn't disappoint! I got the pastor burrito and I came out piping hot from the grill loaded with meat. They also add cheese, pico, rice, beans, and grilled onions. The salsas look lame at first with how watery they are, but the green is quite delicious. My brother liked the red. This place is definitely worth stopping by if you're heading to Big Beach. read more

Wow all the reviews are true . We just finished a few hours of swimming at Makena Beach and were hot and hungry. My friend said to check out this place and the truck was parked right in front of the Beach gate. Caveat : we are not Mexican food fans and we also think Maui food choices are mediocre and expensive compared to Oahu and Big Island. This was shocking how good the fish tacos were . Cooked tender with mango and soft tortilla. The chorizo and shrimp tacos were also tasty. We devoured it like rabid dogs. Throw in super cold shaved ice and you have epic roadside meal. We've eaten at Roy's, Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons and this place blows them all away. Bravo ! read more

Best fish taco in Maui claim verified. We ordered four, two per person. No regrets. Also ordered steak burrito, also did not disappoint. The all-fruit smoothie got sniffed in no time by my wife, Jazzy (yes, namesake of the food truck's owner and chef). Should have bought one for myself. Caramel flan we saved for later, to go with Kona coffee back at our hotel. Also, for a beachfront spot to eat in the car, drive south to a public parking on the right side of the road. read more

We were at big beach, left our chairs and umbrella and drove over to grab a quick lunch. Absolutely perfect and delicious!!! Better than chronic tacos we love and enjoy in Newport Beach. I got the fish taco and shrimp taco, and my husband got the shrimp burrito. It was all so yummy!! read more

This place should have 5 stars. Fish taco is one of the best I've had from California all the way to Baja California. Shrimp tostada was also on point, shrimp not over cooked, and good amount of limón and salt. Service on the other hand wasn't great, not welcoming in act the opposite. Food truck looks clean. I cannot stop talking about these fish tacos. We were snorkeling nearby and wanted to pickup a quick lunch, and ended up here. Every single bite of food has paled in comparison since. We moved islands the day after but I've threatened to fly back to Maui just for the tacos on multiple occasions. Incredible. read more

We are fish taco aficionados. Jazzy's by far has the best fish tacos on Maui! The fish is freshly cooked and has a crispy texture. The slaw is delicious along with the sauce. All enclosed in a warmed flour tortilla there is not better taco on the planet. Oh yeah and the rest of the menu is just as good. They can have a lineup for lunch so we recommend calling ahead and placing your order. That way your wait time is greatly reduced. However it it with the wait!! read more

When I opened everything up it all looked good, but I did notice that the tots were missing the house made pickles. I started with the bao and thought it was pretty good. The kalua pork was super juicy and the bao bun was light and fluffy while still holding together well. The pickled onions added a nice acidity and the tropical salsa brought good flavor. The only thing I did not notice much was the BBQ sauce. After that I dug into the tots. The tots themselves were cooked nicely with a crispy outside and soft inside. The chicken was good as well with a nice batter and the buffalo sauce added flavor while the cheese was gooey. The only thing worth noting is that the chicken was softer than expected and not very crispy. It worked since I did have the texture from the crispy tots, but it stood out. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I would probably not order both a bao and tots again as it was a lot of food, but I would definitely come back for one or the other.

It's a big portion of chicken as well, plus everything it came with is filling. Pinoy Honey Toast: wasn't what we were expecting. The Corn flavored ice cream is interesting, wasn't our cup of tea. The Ube Ice Cream was lacking Ube flavoring. Kulolo Malasadas: it would have been so so good if there was more Kulolo in it and less of the Coconut Cream, or have the Coconut Cream as a dipping sauce. Service is always good, we have never had any issues even in the past visits.

It had a more hole in the wall, your family vibe that I always appreciate over the fast and furious/stylish fancy joints. I'd choose this place again in a heartbeat.
