Their hours online are completely false and it seems like they just work when they feel like it. At least update your online presence to reflect your physical presence. We saw this food truck in the way to Makena Landing for snorkeling. There were two trucks advertising the best fish tacos. However, once we parked and looked at both menus, Jazz's was more authentic. This is the best food on Maui. Come to Hawaii for Mexican food. It's amazing. The fish and shrimp tacos are made with love. The textures and flavors are all SO good. Don't forget the salsa sitting on the counter! The guys working the truck have their grill fired up pretty early ~10am it seemed like we were the first people there. We are vegetarian. They have good options. We had the veggie torta and burritos. The torta had a good flavor. The burrito could have had more. The beans and rice are vegetarian - no lard or chicken stock. They do not fry the chips with other meat products if that matters to some. We were happy with the choices. read more

We live in Southern California with some of the best Mexican food, but this food truck on the way to Big Beach in Makena was incredible We were so surprised by the delicious fish, al pastor and chicken tacos! Run don't walk to the best tasting affordable Mexican I have had in a few months. The prices are excellent and the portions are generous as well. If you don't mind taking it home or eating in your car this is a must stop for Mexican. We tried the Chicken Quesadilla, Steak nachos, Fish tacos and Ceviche and 2 cokes. Our bill was around $40. Still one of my favorite food trucks or maybe even eating establishments in Kihei. All their food taste fresh and good flavor. Location is ideal when your at the beach all day and need some food. This is the only Mexican place worth going to on the whole island. Seriously. It's amazing. Most flavorful carne asada burritos, possibly the best tacos al pastor we've ever had, and top three carne asada nachos ever (and that includes everywhere we've been in Southern California). Because we eat halal, when we visit the Hawaiian islands, it's all about fish for us. And finding the best fish tacos is harder than you would think. First off, they're being offered EVERYWHERE. And second, everyone's got a variation on the theme going on. We've been to some highly rated ones and were severely disappointed by what we were served. BUT Jazzy's Kitchen... OMG. I don't like to be hyperbolic when it comes to reviewing food but yes, these were THE BEST. And here's why. It comes down to how the fish is cooked. Dry crumbly bits of fish meat are not what I want in a fish taco. I also don't want a heavily battered lump of fish meat. Jazzy, gives you tender chunks. I am not kidding, they are like melt in your mouth tender, soft and juicy. The same goes for shrimp. Most places gave us hard, rubbery shrimp. Not Jazzy. They were cooked TO PERFECTION. Plump, tender and juicy. We got the shrimp for our kids and I was sneaking in bites because they were that good. The only sadness I experienced was knowing that my first visit was going to be my last because we had Jazzy at the end of our trip. Until next time!! read more

Finally an amazing taco spot in Maui. I'd give 10 stars if I could. I travel a lot, but this food truck - hands down - gave me THE BEST quesadilla I have ever had! I've ordered their chicken and their shrimp, both came with lots of cheese, and lots of meat. The tortilla was crispy, and even though they were super busy I got my food within 10 minutes. These were the best Fish Tacos and ceviche we had, so on our last day in Maui we went back to have more of the delicious food.

I've reviewed Jazzy's before but it has to be said, these are the BEST tacos on Maui. The guys are from Mexico and their culture shows in their fantastic food. Hubbs n I stopped by yet again while we were hiking in the area for a Jazzy's fix. I'm an addict...lol! This time I decided to branch out and try a shrimp quesadilla for $12 instead of my usual fish taco fix. Yum! Oozing with cheese and nicely stuffed with good sized shrimp they were unctious and satisfying and packed with flavor. Hubbs ate an al Pastor quesadilla and it disappeared fast and furiously, in fact almost inhaled, with a smug look of satisfaction afterwards. Like a cat that got the cream. The Jazzy guys talked to us while they prepared our food and they are hilariously friendly and great to have a yarn with. The cook told us Saturday is "beer day" so they are closed, but open every other day. Fair enough. We tend to go to this end of the island midweek to avoid the weekend crowds so that suits us just fine. If the cook needs a beer day he deserves it for his gobsmackingly good tacos. We were driving around and saw this on the side of the road. It is a must stope ll, it was so good we went back the next day. My husband ordered the veggie burrito both days and said it was really good. I had the Fish Taco and Shrimp Ceviche Tostada. The fish was so moist and grilled to perfection the mango salsa on top was sweet and tasty. The Shrimp Ceviche Tostada was really good as well. We complimented the cook and found out the cook was actually a chef at a restaurant before opening up his truck. My wife and I were snorkeling at The Dumps (just a bit before La Perouse) with a few friends and decided to have lunch here. It was amazing. The five of us are from California and have had Mexican food made from Mexico to Miami and this was among the best. My wife and I ordered street style carne asada and chicken tacos while our friends got the al pastor. I had just crushed a couple steak and chicken tacos and I tried my buddies pastor...I went back and ordered two more lol Great place, friendly, perfect fuel after snorkeling all morning. Wow, skip the other trucks that hang out by Makena Beach and just go to this one for your taco needs. This one was so awesome we went TWICE. First round, we had fish tacos. The fish was impossibly fresh, somehow perfectly cooked despite being in small pieces, and had a nice sear. How does that happen? The mango papaya salsa was the perfect accompaniment. Add those salsas they have, and you're good to go. You'll find bursts of fresh fish, sweet, and spicy flavors all wrapped in tortillas. The second go around, I tried the shrimp ceviche tostada.
