First, I never was provided the multi-point inspection form. I followed up with the service advisor who never responded. Probably wasn't even completed. Second, there was no oil change sticker placed in my windshield, advising of what oil was used, when the next change is due, etc. Makes me think they didn't even complete the oil change. How do you forget to put an oil change sticker? Third, car was returned to me unwashed. This was just the icing on the cake - overall left with a bad impression. The service manager called me to discuss the above. He said his guy "was just having a day." Whatever that means. And as far as the car wash is concerned - it was "broke down" for the day. Just excuses, no further action. Would not return.

Some of the products and services appear to be pretty reasonably priced, but some are OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced and expensive! Two new tires were recommended to me as a MAJOR part of fixing an issue with my vehicle, and unfortunately, they screwed me over royally on the cost of the tires. They ended up charging me $478 for two tires, and I later discovered that these exact same tires are sold at Walmart for $101.06 each as seen in the screenshot and link attached to this review. This was HIGHLY upsetting to me. In the process of working on my vehicle, the mechanic discovered an issue with a cross threaded lug nut and wheel stud that prevented a tire from being rotated on my vehicle. Replacement parts to fix this issue only cost $8-$9, but they wanted to charge me about $300 for the labor, which is absolutely nuts! I opted out of this service and made arrangements to have a local mechanic to fix this issue for about 70 bucks, which is a BIG difference! On a positive note, the dealership did successfully fix all of my issues, but it's very difficult for me to give them credit in light of their exorbitant prices and how badly they ripped me off on the cost of those tires. That just emphasizes how ridiculous this place conducts business and how horrible our experience was. A woman named *Brittany* promised us over the phone that if we drove an hour each way from the city they had the EXACT car (color, model, everything) we wanted for us to take home SAME NIGHT and they'd have everything ready by the time we arrive at 5pm. So, we cancel dinner plans and head to the dealership! We show up and mention we're there to meet with the manager *Carolina* as directed but are shuffled around to someone else who doesn't know what's happening. After an hour of sitting around waiting for answers, we're told they don't have the car as promised. Instead, they had a different color that we could get TOMORROW. We ask if they'd at least give us a good discount for all of our troubles and when they go to talk to *Carolina* again (never met her or spoke to her directly by the way), we were waiting another ten minutes with no answers before we walked out. Moral of the story: they lie so that they can get you in the door. I'm incredibly frustrated and feel absolutely disrespected. I'm truly shocked and wish these people nothing but failure.

The people are friendly and will try to save you money. I wonder how...I was told by helmut 'we're a small car dealer we can't sell damaged cars.' My ass haha. Stay away!!! Now that I think about It, This dealer is so deceptive they have the name 'chicago Cars US' as their main title but they come up primarily if you search for 'chicago auto mart'. Hmmmmmmm After looking back upon a few months, they were very nice people, I got what I paid for more or less... Hood still won't open 100%. But they were very kind polite. I purchased my…read more2022 GMC Terrain on 11/21/2022, and for over three years I have been dealing with an ongoing transmission warning light, poor acceleration, and shifting issues that this dealership has failed to fix. Early on, I was told the issue was "not serious" and that I was covered. That turned out to be completely misleading. I have brought my vehicle in multiple times and even left it for an extended period, receiving a loaner, yet the problem continues. At my most recent visit on 2/3/2026, I was told there is nothing they can do because the light comes on and off. I was also told I needed filters, but within a day, the transmission light came right back on. I emailed management last year and never received a single response. No follow up, no accountability, nothing. Now I have been instructed by GM to take my vehicle to a different dealership, which says everything about how this one has handled the situation. This is the third winter where I cannot rely on my vehicle, with a 50 percent chance it will even warm up and run properly in Chicago weather. Between the distance, my demanding job, and dealing with health issues, this has been exhausting. I bought my last two new vehicles to avoid this kind of situation, but instead I have been stuck with an unresolved issue and a dealership that refuses to take responsibility.
