I've tried it all. The wings are out of this world. The lasagna is old world and can easily feed 2 people. Pizza is the best in town with top shelf ingredients you just don't see anywhere. After Sacco's closed, JC's opened in the same spot. Which is great because they kept the coal fire oven! JC's pizza is outstanding. Crisp yet chewy crust, nice sauce and tons of toppings to choose from. Lasagna is also good and big as a plate. Outside of Venturi, this is the best pizza place in the area hands down. read more

We have been patronizing this pizza joint since opening and it's literally the best pizza in town. We don't order pizza from any other restaurant since this place opened. The Capolino is our go to! Very family friendly! Owner is almost always there and makes great efforts to chat with all the tables. Service is always great, knowledgeable about the rotating beers and so kind to the kiddos. Out of towner in the South Bend area for a hockey tournament. Our team found this spot and it was about a minute walk from our hotel at the Hampton Inn. It's part of a larger plaza, so there's adequate parking. This restaurant is fairly new. Normally newer restaurants have some hiccups, not this one. First our group of nearly 20, half kids half adults, was seated really quickly. The server was very nice and attentive. He had no problem splitting up checks and managing all the food and drink orders. The restaurant wasn't very busy or crowded, but our apps and pizzas came out quickly, which was awesome. If you like craft beer, this is a good spot. Had about 8 locals brews on tap and also a list of bottled options. I came away most impressed by the staff. The owner came and chatted with the adults and kids and took a such a genuine interest where we were from and the kids' hockey team. The wait staff kept engaging with the kids, joking and chatting with them, all while being attentive of their jobs. They even provided the kids with some dough to play with. Unfortunately, unless our team comes back to the area next year, this might be my only stop here. I do recommend it especially for groups as the service and staff are amazing. read more

First, let me say the service was super friendly. The side salads were very good (our table tried both house and Caesar). The pizza which was expected to be the main attraction was quite disappointing. The crust did not have enough flavor, there was not enough sauce, and the "cup and char" pepperoni provided cups of grease with no char that overwhelmed the entire pizza. Pleasantly surprised! Decided to try this spot out since it recently opened. Restaurant was very clean, nice lighting, and wait staff was attentive and kind. Ordered buffalo dip as an app. Was served with a flat bread that was super yummy! Dip itself needed a bit more kick to it, but otherwise it was creamy and delicious. For pizza, we ordered the Hawaiian but added jalapenos (don't judge!). I usually feel like garbage after pizza, but this left me feeling satisfied and light! Crust was thin, toppings tasted fresh, and it was practically grease free. We will be back to try other pizzas and garlic knots!! Perfect lunch spot!! read more
