I have been to a number of Logan's restaurants here and there. We were traveling and this one was right next door to the hotel we were staying in. It is the same as the rest. For that reason, I tend to avoid leaving reviews for chain restaurants. Our visit was fine and exactly as expected. We waited just a couple of minutes for a table. The server was attentive. Well this was a late dinner in Tennessee before an all night drive to Chicago from Clearwater Beach Florida. We stopped at this small family owner roadhouse restaurant to try it because according to my friends searching it has good reviews. Well I am glad we did stop here because the food was delicious. Their bread rolls they are famous for lives up to their menu description. Warm light and honey buttery. The French onion soup had the right amount of melted cheese and was not too salty or heavy. The salad I ordered was ok. The wood fired chicken was delicious as well as how they cooked the broccoli. The broccoli had the right texture and seasoning to eat . 3 out of 5 stars for the service because my friend as for another glass of water from sky our server. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. Food took forever to get to us and was awful when it finally arrived. My wife ordered coconut shrimp, which were cold and tasted like they were dipped in sugar. She took a bite out of one and sent the full plate back. They didn't offer to correct it or take it off the bill. My 10yr old daughter's steak came rare, sent it back and it came back just as rare. Did they offer to fix it? Refund it? Absolutely not. Two inedible meals and manager didn't once check to see what the issue was. Will never return and will never recommend. read more

Finally, this past week around 2pm in the afternoon, my wife had to use the bathroom- if it allows me to post pictures I will- it's not that it wasn't cleaned that "day" it's that the women's bathroom hasn't been fully cleaned in months. I understand if the food handlers don't want to be scrubbing floors- then get a service to do a deep clean at least once a week. If you don't care about public bathrooms, it stands to reason you don't care about cleanliness- we both walked by the kitchen doors, and when they were opened, the floors were just as disgusting as the bathroom floors- we probably won't be coming back to this particular logans until we hear things have significantly changed. The sirloin was marginal as good sirloins go- the salad had a lot of white/ and wilted pieces- and a lot of substitute by using the purple lettuce- we did not get sick (thankfully) but knowing now what I know about the lack of cleanliness, again- we probably will not be taking the risk by going to this Logans anymore. read more

My mother and I stopped by here yesterday afternoon hoping to get to get a nice lunch after shopping. We entered with an elderly couple who was sat after us because they were awaiting the rest of their party. They sat after us with the rest of their guests and were immediately brought out bread. My mother and I sat there 22 minutes no bread no drinks. No one came to our table, we had no clue who would be serving us and we just felt invisible and entirely disrespected. read more

Had the 3 sliders with fries. Was a very small portion of fries and the sliders only had a tiny patty and cheese. They were supposed have pickles and onions on them also. My 62 year old husband got carded for his beer here. I joked with our server that she was just fishing for a good tip by making him feel young, but we noticed a sign as we were leaving that said all alcohol sales would need ID. So much for THAT thought. Not feeling very hungry I ordered some fried pickles. The pickles were chip style and were very good. My husband ordered a mushroom burger with a side of waffle fries. I had a couple bites of my husband's burger and it was real good. I had a couple of his fries too and they were great dipped in ranch. I know it sounds like I'm a mooch, but I really can't eat much so I rarely order a full meal unless I can take the leftovers with me. We came here for our last night in Chattanooga and it was a solid choice . Their rolls were to die for. Lots of selections and prices are more than fair. Our server was also very attentive, automatically bringing out more rolls when we had one left. Portions were generous too. My sweet potato was massive and so soft and tasty. My only gripe was their steak was overcooked. We ordered medium well - we got a definite well. All in all if this chain existed in L.A. I would definitely go again. read more

Been on the road traveling and stayed up the road at the Hampton. They recommended this place. Truthfully there is not much around to select from but that's okay because this place was great. My server was Alexis. What a bundle of joy she was. Very attentive and sweet. I ordered the six ounce steak with baked potato and a salad. The salad and blue cheese dressing was enough to fill me up. The bread was soft and yummy. The steak was perfect. I ordered MR and it was cooked perfectly. I did have to add some salt for the full flavor to come out. What really surprised me was the baked potato. It was cooked to perfection. Not one hard spot in it. Alexis was an excellent server and if I ever came back to this area I would ask for her personally. She did a great job and I hope my tip showed her how much I appreciated her service. Meatloaf is listed as a specialty, so I thought I'd try it. It tasted like a block of salt. Uneatable! So they replaced it. They grill their meatloaf and the second piece was completely burnt. Went to see our son after checking out of hotel Sunday morning. It turned into a Wal-Mart store run for his friend followed by lunch for everyone. We have not had a Logans in Memphis for quite some time now. When my family wanted qt to get out of the house, it was a definite goto restaurant in our neighborhood within walking distance. It would not be right of me to eat there and not order my fave meal- the porkchops. This location's ambience and layout was totally different from the one we had here. However, could not get pics for invading patrons privacy. My minor concern was that the marshmallows on my sweet potato were very charred (as seen in pic). I'm really excited about Logan's Roadhouse. I'm heading south and am spending the night at a nearby hotel and wanted a non fast-food dinner and found Logan's on Yelp. I saw the pictures, especially of the hot, yeast rolls and knew where I was going. We had a great dinner! The rolls definitely lived up to my expectations, so delicious, I could have eaten a dozen but restrained myself. Our meals were perfectly seasoned and the portions were a great size. Service was really good and the prices were fair. I would definitely want to eat at Logan's Roadhouse again! In regards to current Covid precautions, Logan's Roadhouse appears to be following all of the protocols. There is social distancing and all of the staff members were wearing masks. They have signs on the doors saying that everyone coming in should wear a mask until seated at a table. The restaurant was clean and I felt safe eating there. read more

We are in Chattanooga for a short vacation. Logan's was suggested by the front desk person at our hotel! We went in person on Tuesday night and ordered online for delivery on Thursday night. If I could give this zero stars I would. The waitress was wonderful no complaints about her. The food was HORRIBLE....I ordered a ribeye cooked medium, it came out rare and couldnt even be cut with a steak knife. It was tough, fatty and chewy. My husband ordered a slab of ribs which was 5 individual ribs, this is what they consider a slab. The ribs were burnt and did not fall off the bone as advertised. The only good things were our salads and the rolls. The food made me decide to never go to a chain steak place. We were told there were 4 managers trying to do the cooking and it wasn't going well. We did get our meals for free, however a manager never came to our table to apologize or see 1st hand how awful the food looked. If you had a good meal good for you, we will pay much higher prices for quality food. read more

We traveled from California and staying in town on vacation. We were looking for a non fast food restaurant and came across this gem. Walked in and was greeted with a smile and suggested that if we wanted to sit at the bar we could. I was Friday night and there was about 15-20 minute wait. We sat at the bar and our bartender a wonderful young lady was so friendly and welcomed us to town. She promptly handed us menus and took our drink order. We ordered Spinach and artichoke dip and it was delicious. We ordered Tri-tip steak meal also with Mac n cheese broccoli baked potatoes , rice pilaf and shrimp.
