Wish we could have enjoyed a drink from the adult beverage menu.

Our experience was very good unlike previous Yelp Reviews, but in line with the favorable Google reviews. We really liked the vibe, funky retro decor and the food & drink choices available at Jelly. Customers were lively and enjoying their meals & combinations and was contagious. Staff was friendly, hustling and helpful. We all loved our choices and fulfilling. We appreciated not just having the usual breakfast fare to make our selection. There were many we wanted to try. The three of us shared sampling the 8 varieties of their donut holes - YUMMY Our son is a graduate student at DU and while wanting to try another dish, still stick with the Aztec Rice Hash because you don't see this combination elsewhere. I really wanted to try the Avocado Caprese, but wanted eggs and The Hillside Scramble got me with the roasted red pepper. My husband deviated from his Egg Benedict tendency to get the Southern Style Biscuits & Gravy for a change of pace. The biscuits were huge and tasty. The Iced White Mocha was spot on for my coffee tastebuds and the Cortado was equally tasty for our son. Our son scored leftovers as we became full. For us and the other customers enjoying Jelly we would be back.

A good breakfast place near D.U.'s campus. Lots of egg choices. Parking can be a problem. The staff is well trained but at times they appear short-handed. There is nothing special about the interior seating but they do have a fun collection of old cereal boxes on the walls. Prices are comparable to similar restaurants. If you like donuts, that is their speciality. The place has a good vibe.

What a cool and funky place. The decor is amazing. Everything from pop culture cereal boxes to garbage pail kids. The donuts melt in your mouth. The hash was flavorful and just the right size. The biscuits were yummy. And the service was just as nice.

Our host was good, food was good. They forgot to our donut bites order but it was not a big deal. Once they realized they forgot they were willing to give to us for free.

I love Jelly and I was excited to try this location as I usually go to the one closer to Capitol Hill. The menu was the same and I had my usual favorite: Aztec rice hash. It is the perfect combination of savory, sweet and spicy! The dish comes with toast and fresh house strawberry jam, which was divine. I also shared the crunch berry French toast with my friend and it was incredible and so unique. The atmosphere is wonderful with natural light, friendly staff, clean environment and cute retro decor. Jelly offers a wide selection of sweet and savory foods and always a great experience.

Meh. It has more appeal visually, than culinary. The menu is extensive and exciting, and portions are large...but ultimately the taste is simple. The hash could benefit from an additional protein and flavor. Staff was nice and service was quick, even on a Saturday morning.

My husband and I eat at Jelly frequently, and we always go back! It's affordable, delicious, and usually not too long of a wait. The restaurant is diner style, but with some more modern colors thrown in, and is well decorated with vintage cereal boxes and art. The breakfast burrito is always delicious, and big enough to take home leftovers. My husband switches his order around, but loves the biscuits and gravy as well as the chilaquiles. I rated 4 stars because the food is a bit inconsistent in terms of flavor, but it's never different enough that we don't enjoy it. Jelly is a classic for our family!

Can confirm Jelly is celiac / GF friendly! GF donut holes in the first photo. Staff seems knowledgable and sensitive & it's a fun place for groups on a weekend AM! Reservation recommended for brunch-ing I can't speak for the non-GF food as a celiac bruncher, but my non GF friends seem to enjoy their meals! As a celiac diner I mostly focus on 1. Variety of options on a menu and 2. Execution of food tastiness. While Moxie on broadway is still my favorite Denver brunch spot, Jelly is perfect for a larger group brunch and a more classic dining experience!

Absolutely love Jelly, had a semi large party of 8 on 4/20, which also fell on Easter this year.On top it was also my birthday. After an online scheduling snafu the host called an audible and pushed a few tables together. Food is ALWAYS top notch. Been dining at the OG Jelly in Cap Hill for 15+ years. Only thing I wish I could have ordered was a bowl of cereal. It would be neat to offer some current cereal offerings, maybe next 4/20?

    These donuts are bagels!!!

I would not recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy. there was food on my utensils when they gave it to me I asked for a new one he went in the back and just smudge it didn't get me new utensils like I asked the waiter didn't ask me once if I needed a refill on my water they didn't come over at all to check up on us. I wish I could give a zero star, but the lowest I can give is a 1. They also charged me for chocolate chips when I didn't get any chocolate chips on my pancakes. I was super excited to try the donuts when I got home. The donuts are sadly disguised as bagels!

Keep hearing about this place since I moved to Denver. Is busy when trying to go during morning break feast times on the weekend. Has about a 45min queue wait so might be smart to get into the waiting queue while driving over. I got the bacon jalapeño pancakes which were great with some a side of rustic potatoes. The potato's weren't crazy but you go here for the donuts. There are many different flavor options and they are bite size so you can get a couple and try a few. Which I love!

I really like this location. It's close to me and conveniently place. Our severs were cool. Nothing super special not super negative. There was the downside that they didn't give us cutlery when we sat down. We didn't even have it when the food came. So that was kind of annoying, but not a deal breaker. They also didn't bring creamer for my friend's coffee, even though they asked him if he wanted some. Again, annoying but not a deal breaker. It was a Sunday so I'm sure there was a lot going on. The food though was delicious. Got a Basic Breakfast with a cinnamon roll pancake, and of course, a mimosa. Sweet and savoury is always my jam. My friend got the Eggs Benedict and his kiddos got pancakes. One tip: ask for the potatoes CRISPY!!! Their soft potatoes just ain't it. I need to start coming here more often.

Came here for Saturday breakfast with my partner. Seating inside, at a small bar, and an outdoor covered patio. Was able to get seated within 10 minutes. They do have a waitlist in Yelp, which is super helpful because it's gets busy quick. The hostess and wait staff were great, took orders quickly and always grabbing empty plates. I got the pancakes and my partner got a Benedict. Both were awesome. We will definitely be back.

I found this place specifically thru Yelp because it was featured on the "Top 100 Sandwiches" list,…read moreso I stopped by with a few friends during my visit to Denver. I must say... it deserves it's recognition. The Banh Mi here is excellent! I got to try the LEMONGRASS GRILLED PORK. The pork is well marinated with a slightly sweet taste. There is a good amount of meat inside. It typically comes with cilantro & jalapeños inside which you can always opt out. But I feel like the sauces & veggies inside paired so well together. The bread is super crunchy that you will be in a bread crumb mess afterwards. But, it's all worth it because it tastes great. My friends all loved it here. For a traditional Banh Mi experience, I would totally recommend this spot. Ordering is super easy. There is a machine in which you can order & pay through there or go straight up to the counter. The food will be ready fairly quick so you can be in & out within a few minutes. And there is a parking out front. So, there is no reason not to try this place.

Service was great, food came fast, but most importantly, the banh mi was hella delicious. I wish it had a few more jalapeño, but I bet it's a local preference thing, and I'm sure if I asked, they would have added. Also, I'm kind of a pig when I am away from home (hence my search for something light), and I'm always concerned a sandwich doesn't fill me up, but I am stuffed. Way more satisfying than a Subway sandwich, although comparing the two is somewhat insulting to this banh mi. I added the combo that provides an egg roll and iced coffee (I was going to buy a coffee for $5 anyways, the combo is $4. No brainer). Coffee is also delicious, and much larger than I thought it would be. TL/DR - Highly recommend this place. I will come again next time I'm in the area. PS - Tables are clean, restrooms are clean. Bonus.
