This is how the bag for my order came. Good food bad service and no accountability.

Everytime I order through GrubHub they get it wrong. I called and all the woman on the phone said was that was an error and she didn't make the order instead of taking accountability for the error. Will not be ordering from them again. Disappointed in the customer service and lack of accountability.

Chicken double with everything was superb! So delicious. All the right flavors combined into a fried bread of sorts. I was there Saturday, and I had to write a review because I could not stop thinking about it. My friend had a veggie double and chicken roti, and they devoured their food. So if you are in the area, don't miss your opportunity to try this deliousness. I only took a picture of our drinks. SMH. I was too busy chowin' down.

    Cow Foot Soup

I had a friend pickup a cow foot soup for me and maybe I should have picked the chicken. The cow foot wasn't fully cooked and barely edible, the carrots were huge, it was a whole green banana in there that they didn't even bother to cut up they just cut it in half, I had to add salt just to even enjoy the broth because it had no taste, the one dumpling was so small compared to those large carrot slices... I've had their roti before which was decent but this is the first and last time I'll be getting soup from here

    Had to get roti!

I've had great experiences with the Jen's in my life. This solidifies it. Jen's is a neighborhood staple. It's a childhood memory. A collection of flavors, scents and Caribbean sights. The location may have changed but the quality is still the same. My roti was hefty. It was a pound of juicy bone-in chicken (dark meat), potatoes, chickpeas, a douse of sweet tamarind sauce and a sprinkle of shredded cucumber. Peppa sauce at your own risk! Issa hot one! I passed. And I know I might face some slack from my fellow Caribbean people but I can only do mild. Don't take my card! Back to the food. You can get small and large orders of food. They have rice, cold salads, hot soups, stews, curries, veggies, fish and more. You can be Vegan, Vegetarian, Meat-o-tarian and you'll be well fed. I ate half my roti and saved the other half for breakfast! And Yes. I slept well last night knowing this! Ha! Soca music plays in the background. You might hear someone singing along. And see a waist whine or 2. It's a vibe. They were busy but there was social distancing. Just check on the direction of the line. They switched it up a bit for safety reasons. Don't skip nobody. Happy eating! Also check out my foodie adventures on Insta! @saltandsavor

One of the best roti spots I've been to in Brooklyn. They even have frozen roti so I always ordered roti to travel with.

Nothing short of delicious. And the staff was wonderful. This is definitely one of the better Caribbean restaurants in Flatbush.

There were only 2 other parties seated and we were seated immediately upon arrival. It's fairly dark inside and the decor reminds me a bit of New Orleans. I enjoyed the ambiance. The drinks were great! I had the cocobella while he had margaritas. The table bread was hot and fresh, so make sure they bring it to the table for you. We had the mussels for an appetizer, lamb chops and bass. EVERYTHING was excellent! The flavor of the broth for the mussels was Devine, so much so my husband used his bread to sop up all he could. The bass had great flavor and came with sautéed spinach that was well cooked. It initially looked like a small portion but turned out to be plenty. The lamb chops were cooked to the requested temp and seasoned well. We left no crumbs. This one is definitely worth a try!

Sometimes you don't need a fancy reservation... you just need a tiny spot, loud kitchen, and food…read morethat hits like a heavyweight champ. Walked into Margon Restaurant in Midtown and instantly felt like I found one of NYC's secret cheat codes. Small space, big flavors, zero nonsense. The kind of place where you're elbow-to-elbow with strangers but everyone's united by one thing... serious hunger. Ordered the Cuban sandwich -- pressed, crispy, loaded with roast pork, glazed ham, Swiss, pickles, and mustard. One bite in and I stopped talking... which never happens. This thing didn't just deliver... it showed up early and over-prepared. Then came La Bandera Dominicana Braised beef swimming in savory gravy, yellow rice piled like a mountain, black beans doing their thing, and sweet maduros sitting on top like the victory flag. Simple. Comforting. Dangerous... because now I want it every week. Place gets busy, gets loud, gets chaotic... but it moves like a well-oiled machine. Years of experience and zero attitude. Just good people making great food. In a neighborhood full of tourist traps, this hole-in-the-wall is throwing haymakers. Sometimes the best escape in NYC isn't a rooftop... It's a Cuban sandwich and a plastic tray. And honestly... I'd pick that every time. #nycfood #hiddennyc #midtowneats
