She talked my ear off, what a delight. So the place is decked out in Allman brothers memorbilia. It was their early haunt as they rose to fame. Well the founder, older blk lady is dead. Her family smartly sold out to corporate. But it was worth it. They maintained all thats good. Even the tiny old bathrooms. Need an update for sure. But. .Definitely worth the visit. Parking was horrible! So go early! Now, you need to go by Macon cemetery. See Allman burial, civil war places. I want to explore Macon more now! Their chicken is perfect and the tomatoes! I will each three servings of the FGT's next time, no doubt! Do not miss this place. . .they deserve all the business they can get! And what I mean by old school is a long standing business frequented by an older clientele. It reminds me of my childhood, I guess.
