Well... I went to this place because of a deal, so it was like getting it for free. I went in around 2:30PM - which everyone expects for a place to be open and ready for business, ordered the pizza and the guy said it would be about 20 minutes. Keep in mind there were two workers there and neither one spoke ONE word of English! This is the US in 2026. People can come fresh from another country, cannot speak one word of English, but somehow ends up with a business? How do they know how to pay for taxes, expenses and other things? How were they able to open it without speaking English? Odd indeed... Anyway... The order was a simple pizza, but even at 2:30PM, they clearly were not ready for business. Once the order was placed, I expected for the pizza to start being made and put into the oven. I guess the 20 minutes was for him to clean each pizza stick thing, make sure the oven was up to temperature and do some other things BEFORE he even started making the pizza. This pizza place was not Italian, but either Portuguese or Cuban. The pizza making process was strange, as he formed it with his fingers for most of it, and only slightly tossed it to even out the dough. Then it was placed onto a frame, then put into the oven. I guess that the oven was not ready as he kept checking it first. Once he put the pizza in without closing it, the oven must have been overheated because the pizza was cooking too fast. He had to turn it every 20 seconds. I never saw this before. He even ruined the pizza as it ripped when he took it out. I did not understand what he was saying, but it seemed as if he was asking me if I wanted the ripped pizza! I originally came from New Haven, so I was used to seeing the various pizza makers do their thing, and I never saw any of them have to constantly check the pizza and turn it every 20 seconds. They would leave it in and know when to check. I was wondering while I was watching, was how he would be able to put multiple pizzas in the oven at once and have them cook evenly without burning... So, they finally get it right, but the edges were burned. I did not complain because at this point, I wanted to leave and I knew that I would not be coming back. They just did not seem to know what they were doing and all rehearsals should have been done before they opened. With all of that, the pizza was decent, but too much flour while spreading the dough out, messed things up once the flour was in the over. I always preferred the pizza where they sprinkled cornmeal under it before putting it in the oven instead. The edges were burned as well. I kept looking around the place and at their menu, wondering where the rest of the foods were, because I saw nothing and I hardly saw basic pizza stuff. Either they got to the place and opened late, or they just were not prepared. Bad first impression. Where I live now has horrible pizza - except for one place that costs quite a bit, but between traffic and the pizza and inept prep, it is not worth my time to come back here. While some pizzas of different varieties and be good, I prefer Italians spots. For martial arts films - I prefer Chinese. For hip-hop, I prefer blak-Americans. You just get things done right. Lastly, a woman came in asking for a slice - which they advertise, but they had none. They had no ready made pizzas for slices, or any visible foods for sale, except for bags of chips. This was a weird place. I don't know how long they have been in business, but I do know that the pizza prep game is tedious and requires early morning and even overnight prep work. Once you get that out of the way, everything else is just fine. read more

Have ordered delivery a few times the times when working in the area and have not yet been disappointed. We have ordered salads, grinders, wings and wraps and everything has been very tasty. I ordered a sausage pizza which arrived with two bits of sausage on a slice and cold. I called the restaurant so I can get a new pizza or a refund, and I had to go back-and-forth with the woman who spoke Spanish and English thinking I didn't understand her, which I did cause I spoke Spanish. We have been loyal customers for years and also have a business in Bridgeport never have I had such poor service or a terrible pizza like this. We had to demand a refund and they actually told us that we'll get a refund if we return the pizza ourselves! We refused to bring it to them. Their driver came to pick the pizza up snd they had the nerve to call us back and say they didn't want us as a customer. Imagine that-that's what you call service. Jenna's has been my sister's go-to spot for pizza and more for years. She told me that you can order online and pick it up. I entered the order and the site gave me an estimate of when it would be ready. I showed up at the time and everything was indeed ready. The pizza was a bit hit, we got two plain pies and one with sausage. The salad had all the fixings for a wonderful Italian salad: peppers, olives, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. So, here's the big surprise here: the cannoli. In a city that has long had two dueling bakeries with claims to best cannoli, the best ones are at a pizza shop. These seem to filled right when you order them. They're beautiful and taste just as good as they look. The shells are crispy and the creme filling is perfect! This was my first order from Jenna's, but I will surely be ordering from them again soon. The gentleman who gave me my food was very friendly. Ordered from Jenna's for the first time while hanging out at Berlinetta Brewing Co. Had a great experience with Berlinetta, but not so much Jenna's. We'll never order from this place again. The food was basic at best. Jalepeno poppers were pretty standard, nothing special. The chicken tenders were the best thing we ordered. The Florentine pizza was ok - cooked well, but the crust was tasteless. We ordered a Feta Salad, Jenna's take on a Greek salad, which was described as coming with pepperoncinis and grape leaves. When the salad arrived, it was just lettuce and cucumbers with Italian dressing (??). For $13 we expected to get what was described, not a bowl of lettuce. I called the restaurant to complain, and the guy who picked up turned rude once he heard I had a complaint. He told me they no longer served grape leaves with the salad (...maybe update your menu listings??) and didn't apologize at all for screwing the order up...he just barked that he would send a credit on the app (which I haven't seen yet). Overall, food was mediocre at best and overpriced. They also charge $1 extra per person to include the smallest, flimsiest plastic utensils and a napkin. Next time we'll bring our own food or go to the excellent food trucks Berlinetta gets in. I'm shocked at all the good reviews this place gets. read more

This place is totally incompetent and food is terrible. I placed and order for two meatball parms and a ceaser salad. I also requested a water under special instructions. The order did not come with water and they sent no utensils. I called store and some man answered and said you had to request utensils and I didn't order a water. They did not read the special instructions. When I spoke to owner and he basically said go to hell and they don't send order with utensils. Oh and the food it was absolutely terrible. We ordered med. pizza and spring salad w grilled chicken on top and a special vinegarette and it's delicious. I started eating 1/2 the salad and OMG , it tasted extraordinary to me, I HAD to call them and tell them. They knew who we were just by our order (LOL!). All of them were so happy and it made me happy to "make his day" I must say , ( and I'm from NY) , that you def have to try Jenna's on Madison Ave!! Great pizza! I'm originally from East Harlem and have had the best-Patsy's, Ray's, etc. and Jenna's is top-notched. The moment you walk into this place your mouth begins to water from the delicious aroma. Once you have a slice, you are satisfied with the reality of the flavor. Check it out! Mario is the real deal! Horrible customer service. I placed an an advanced order today for delivery to arrive by 7:05. The guy arrived 25 mins early and no one was home so he left my order on my ground floor in my building. When I called the establishment the delivery man said he left it on the floor!? I'm sorry that is unacceptable!! I proceeded to ask for a manager the man on the phone said he was not in. So I asked who can I speak to he said I can speak to him because he was the owner!! I said do you think it's right what you did? He said YES nobody wanted to open the door! The gall of this person!! I find that appalling, that another human being would think what he had just done was ok to do to another human being! I am not a dog and if that's how a patron is treated have the courtesy to refund my money for the dog food that was left on my front door on the ground!!! Disgusting customer service! This is my first time and last time ordering from them!! I have his voicemail stating he left my food on my front door the actual owner needs to get in contact with me!!! Sooooo I was a wee bit unhappy that I forgot to bring lunch this morning and funds were not ideal :) In steps an e-mail from Paypal to try their new app to order food. The coupon was for $10. Yippeee I can eat for $10 right?! So I go through the app and find horrible reviews for most of the places and then I find Jenna's. No review on Yelp! WTH!? I Googled this place and found pretty decent reviews on other sites, so I decided to order. I did it all from my phone. A veggie calzone (spinach, mushrooms, broccoli) and I put in a special request for ricotta. Then I ordered the house garden salad (hold the onions and olives...add roasted red peppers). Then I checked online for additional coupons and found one for $2!!! Voila $.66 for lunch? GTFOH!!! Needless to say I wasn't expecting much because hey a $.66 lunch doesn't leave a lot to the imagination.... I was pleasantly surprised. When I walked in, my order was already packed, my calzone was at the front of the wood hearth waiting to be packaged. I signed my receipt and was on my way in like 2 minutes. I was STARVING (so sorry no pics) and opened the calzone immediately. There was a container of sauce in the box (HUGE score...usually these places charge extra) and I began to eat a delicious yummy calzone! It was well prepared, there was no run off from crappy ingredients and my veggies were fresh and whole! Business not honorable. The business does not offer gift cards, so they give you a written receipt as proof of purchase with a dollar amount as a gift card to use at a later date. I tried to use their "so called" gift card and they will not honor it now. Owner states he will only honor it for 8 months. This was not stated at time of purchase plus gift cards do not expire in the state of Connecticut. Will be filing a report with the BBB. Warning! Terrible burnt pizza and rude employees....when we finally got one that wasn't burnt we were not at all impressed with the taste. Never going back. After hearing such good things about this place and the pizza we ordered a large pizza to go. When we picked it up, it was burnt beyond the point of being edible (I'm not even kidding a little), so we showed it to the owner and asked for a new pizza. He was rude and argued that, THAT is how brick oven pizza is cooked. He eventually replaced our pizza with one that was well done (not burnt), but at least edible. Excellent pie! I live in Fairfield so there are plenty of choices for decent pizza in the area. But I always enjoy coming here for the Julian's special as it has a nice combination of meats, onions, mushrooms and pepper. The crust is crispy thin and gets a nice char from the wood oven. Good sauce ratio. The man who makes the pie is nice, accomodating and friendly. Parking can be a bit tight since there's a laundromat next door. read more
