This is the only place I could find black cardamom, mango powder, kashmiri chille powder, etc. I have been to more than a few geography/ethnicity specific groceries in my life and have sometimes felt totally unwelcome, but Patel's was busy with shoppers of all ages and several ethnicities so I didn't feel out of place at all. My only complaint is that aisles and shelves are not super well sorted or labeled, so you have to kind of know what packages are supposed to look like in order to find what you need. I'll definitely be back for my future spice, bulk rice, grains, and legumes needs and to try out some of the several packaged snacks and treats.

I utilize curbside grocery pickup. They used to charge a small fee for it, but did away with it…read moreduring covid. It's very convenient when the order is correct. Ordering: using the Kroger app is easy and they have lots of digital coupons. You can modify your order if it's at least scheduled a day out. They have times early morning at 8am for example through 8-9pm as well. Pick up: Every store has a designated area. You notify them in the app or text that you're on the way. I've never waited too long for my order. They take paper coupons when you arrive & update the order total. EBT is also accepted payment. They pack all your items in your vehicle and a digital receipt given. Staff is always pleasant and polite ambiance wise. Cons: order is never correct. They bag horribly as noted in the pictures. I've given feedback to management. They are a high turnover because it's always someone new. Never have issues with refunds but I prefer my order to be right. I'd pay for the service if it meant better service. Don't order produce curbside unless you want to check it right then. I've had moldy fruit more than once so I skip it when I can.
