I ordered the Meatloaf with Spanish rice and mashed potatoes and WOW!!! This meal was very heavy on salt. The rice was inedible. I drowned the meatloaf in ketchup and ate most of it, but there were some "rocky" pieces. I'm assuming bone? I'm not sure. The mashed potatoes was fair. This place gets one star because of the great customer service, decoration, and gift shop items, but not somewhere I'd eat. read more

By far the worst experience in many years. Ordered a simple burger and fries with a beer. foo arrived in 2 minutes. How can that even happen? They restaurant was for the most part empty. Burger was mildly warm, the fries were stale and not warm, the beer was hot served with a cold mug. Great location right off the highway and next to a best western hotel. I went in for their breakfast and ordered their Jeremiah breakfast which was their biggest breakfast plate. It was delicious. You get 2 huge pancakes and a lot of syrup along with sausage and your choice of eggs or something else. I was full by the time I got to the 2nd pancake and couldn't finish it. Dinner was a different experience for me. I ordered a steak to go, medium. When I got back to my room the steak tasted burnt and it wasn't medium. Other than that it is a good place to get food. We have been going to Jeremiah's for many years. We usually have a breakfast meal which are quite delicious, but sometimes a dinner meal like the meatloaf or something similar. We just left the restaurant, July 21, 2023 at about 8pm, SO disappointed! My husband and I each had a burger. It was barely mediocre. I had one bite of mine and was done. The patty was thin, tasteless, and dry. Yuck. I wanted to cry. And I substituted a salad for my fries..the lettuce was wilted and warm and there were about as many croutons as there was greens, and one little beet slice. It was truly gross. I think I would have preferred McDonalds. And our server took no notice. He didn't once ask us how our food was. It might be a while before we muster up the courage to go back. And it will probably be for breakfast..definitely not burgers. SMH. read more

The food was outstanding, the service was incredible (Stephanie and Olivia were awesome), and the location was an unexpected gem. If you are looking to host any event (ours was for 40 but I think they go way higher), I would highly recommend this location. Go out back and look at the Gardens and Grounds. Had a senior breakfast the other morning with my sister. Cute place! Very large inside and can accommodate many. Senior breakfast was just perfect. Right proportion for us old folks. Today was probably my 6th or 7th time having breakfast at Jeremiah's. We got there about 10:00 a.m. Been a couple years since I have been there. I had a cheddar omelet with sausage and avocado, hash browns, and a biscuit. My omelet was tasty, but my hash browns were undercooked. Barely browned on the outside, underdone and lukewarm on the inside; I barely touched them. My biscuit was like lead. I know my way around biscuits (my mother was a southerner and an amazing cook). Biscuits should be light and fluffy. They should pull apart with ease. These were anything but. They were dense -- and not even hot. Soft, whipped butter didn't even melt inside it. I ate about half of the top half, wondering if someone reheated yesterday's biscuits. Or if someone just has no idea how to make them properly. Coffee was excellent. Service was very good. Atmosphere was AWFUL. My husband and I were taken all the way to the back of the restaurant--past a room that was not even close to full--and seated next to a table of screaming children. Between the laminate floors and the kids, we had to practically shout to talk to each other. (I chuckled when our server sat a woman at a table near us and said, "it should be nice and quiet here." Au contrere mon ami....) We hurried and ate and left the children to their devices. There are a lot of good breakfast places in Ogden now. Jeremiah's needs to step it's game up for me to consider going back there. I have had much better biscuits and omelets elsewhere. read more

Great food, great staff, great prices! Too many greats? Sorry. We've been meaning to eat here for a while, since we are locals after all. Everyone has been telling us to eat breakfast here- "it's the best in the state! " Well, we were out of ideas for dinner one night, and breakfast for dinner sounded great. I had the Butch Cassiday burger and an enormous scone, served with honey butter. The rest of the fam (three big kids and twin infants) shared some breakfast, which was great amd such an affordable way to go. Just had them share the 1-2-3 breakfast. My wife had the biscuits and gravy with homefries, and that was danged amazing. Very tasty! Also, our server, Jen, was one of the best waitresses I've ever seen, especially considering we had little hands going everywhere. She knew exactly how to place the food and cups out of reach and gave us extra wet wipes. Very thoughtful and attentive! Thank you, Jen! So eat there. It's great. read more

I do not like complaining about businesses. I understand running one is a lot of work. and customers can be difficult to deal with. so I do not write this feeling good about it, however it needs to be said. i went and waited for 45 minutes to eat. a place opened up at the bar so I went to the bar. it was 11:45 when I was asked what I wanted to order. I ordered some pancakes and asked if I could order some fajitas, she said I could not because lunch wasn't until 12:00 P.M so I said okay I ll wait tell 12:00 to order the fajitas. She and another woman then lied and said lunch wasn't until 2 P.M. but a nice guy working said no it was a 12 and breakfast ended at 2. so then she went back to ask if they would do it and she came back and said they would but "they were not happy about it." So I told her No I do not want them cooking my food if their Mad. First of all it wasn't like I asked hours before lunch was being served, I asked ten fifteen minutes before and said I was willing to wait until then. To tell someone that your staff is mad at you for asking when it's their job, is uncalled for. Would you want to eat somewhere we're the waitress and cooking staff make it known that they are angry with you? let alone would you want to tip or give them any of your money? I don't care if there mad. That's their job. If I'm willing to wait for fifteen minutes tell noon to order lunch what is the problem? I wasn't putting them out by telling them I would wait. To come back with that response when it's your job is so unprofessional and for the waitress to lie and another staff member to lie with her about it is just...wow. I almost felt like it was personal if I didnt know any better. Because they were really kind the other person sitting down and different with me I felt. I don't know what the issue was all I did was come sit at the bar to eat. And that was the service and treatment I was given. If your staff is going to complain about their customers and tell them to their face that their angry with them or not happy with them. expect word to get around. it was completely uncalled for and dis respectful. Great stop off the 84/15, literally about 500ft! Beautiful restaurant with lots of interesting menu options (even healthy choices!) Got the mountain bikers breakfast - multigrain waffle with banana and strawberries and Turkey sausage. We also got the western skillet which was good too. Good size servings and worth the price. Took my wife here a couple weeks ago for dinner on a Friday night. The wait was short and the waiting area was comfy. My wife had the baby back ribs with a baked potato. She normally doesn't like sauce on her ribs, but she liked these ones. I had the mushroom, swiss, chicken sandwich with fries and a side salad. I was a little surprised that the salad came out on a small plate, but I managed to only spill a couple pieces. All of our food was very good. Our only complaint is that our waitress was not very attentive and wasn't really able to answer our questions about the menu. I would give a 5 rating, but one thing I don't like when I eat out is not getting timely refills. I had my empty glass on the end of the table for a long time and our waitress passed by us several times. I ended up finishing my wife's drink. read more

Hmm...so I have been wanting to try this place since we moved to Utah because I heard their breakfast was great. Well, it's good but not great. It's definitely good on cold days when you want something hearty and warm. We ordered a scone while we waited for our food but it all came out at once. Their scones are really dense and not as light as those at Sills for instance. They definitely needed to be dipped in the frosting it comes with. I ordered corned beef hash and it was very typical. It was very filling and the portions were big. I wasn't really a fan of my biscuit as I found it to be more like a dinner roll and kind of dry. Hubby ordered the country fried steak and eggs. He liked his order but also found it to be pretty typical. Nothing that blows your hair back but standard diner food. Pros: They keep a pitcher of water on your table so you can keep your glass full! I hate when I'm trying to flag down a server for water. Cute ambiance. Great prices. Quick turnaround on food when ordering. Cons: Just average breakfast food - nothing too exciting or different in the taste department. I hear there's a long wait but we sat quickly on a weekday. read more

Last week I went there with my family for lunch. It was my birthday. I ordered the Jeremiah's Burger and a side of the Southwestern Chicken soup. Our server, Addi, was amazing. She made sure everything met our expectations. The burger was better than I had expected. The flavor of the patties were on point. The bbq sauce added a nice touch to the burger, even though I'm not a fan of bbq sauce with my burger. The soup was great as always. To top it all off, Addi, brought a cinnamon roll with a candle and the plate had writing wishing a happy birthday. Wow! Thank you for a wonderful experience! We love Jeremiah's! read more

Went to Jeremiah's for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We expected it to be busy, which it was, but the wait was not to bad. I ordered the Fajita Omelette, hash browns and the biscuit. My wife had the Veggie Omelette, hash browns and biscuit. We both loved our individual omelets. They were just the perfect size and full of flavor. The fajita may be my new favorite omelette. We both thought that the hash browns were perfect. Not oily and perfectly crisp. We were both head over heels for the biscuits. Great flavor. I want the recipe. read more

We meet up with my parents here often for a Sunday dinner (we don't mess with the overwhelming Saturday crowd). The food is excellent and portions are substantial. I like this place for breakfast. So much so I am willing to drive an hour and then wait for 45 minutes to an hour just for the breakfast. I had never been here for dinner until last night, because we were in the area. I probably won't be coming here for dinner again. I ordered a French dip and my husband a club sandwich. Both were 10 bucks - he got the better deal. His club was huge and fresh and he really enjoyed. My French dip was old. It was lukewarm, the meat was old, tough, and dried out. The au jus was incredibly salty. The bright side to my dish was the mashed potatoes were good, even if they had been sitting so long a skin formed on the gravy. I might have scored a 3 stars, but our server wasn't that great either. She took our order and brought the check. Someone else brought us drinks, another person brought us the food. The other servers and staff all stopped by tables multiple times so maybe she had an off night or was busy. She was nice enough the two times she was at the table. read more

Why would a business refuse service to anyone who rides a motorcycle? They do know that police, fire fighters, teachers, doctors, lawyers, and every other profession out there ride motorcycles. Okay! There is some good, some bad, and some UGLY. We came with a party of 8 at 9:30 on a Saturday morning. There was a 45 -50 minute wait even though there were 4 tables for 8-10 empty the whole time - didn't have enough employees on at that time? Who planned that schedule? Once seated it took almost 20 minutes to get beverages on the table. Food orders were then taken and food came fairly soon - but only for 7 of us. Most of the food was eaten by the time the 8th order was CANCELLED. Why bother? Then the server brought the 8th meal - poorly cooked, almost raw poached eggs, cold hash browns - unacceptable! Let the cook eat that kind of cooking! Getting coffee refills was almost impossible. Oh! We were told we would not have to pay for the late meal - like I would have anyway. By then, I was so ticked off that it no longer seemed generous, let alone reasonable. Would we return? Maybe someday. This could not be a regular occurrence. If so, there would not ever be another chance. Perhaps the server needed more training - or ??? Having returned for another try a couple years later, our food and service were a tad better, but again the kitchen messed up orders and took until the end of the meal to produce an appetizer that was ordered. We used to love to come here with family and friends. We were in this week and sorry to say it will be our last. Our server was great but the food has gone so down hill. I had the meatloaf with carrots. The meatloaf was covered like an inch of onion which normally would be okay. When I removed the onion there was the saddest excuse for a meatloaf. It was brown but almost gray. It was tasteless and sad. The carrots were over cooked and also flavorless. Fortunately the baked potato was ok so I didn't totally miss out. My husband had the Navajo taco. He usually loves this and it is his go to order. The chili was cool and the Navajo bread was doughy in the middle. Food was bland, but the water was cold! Not worth our time or money. Oh nice if Jeremiah's restaurant care about the food quality. They would have a lot more customers if the food quality was not equal to lunch at a cafeteria in school. The l redeeming thing about Jeremiah 's is the signature Rolls with cinnamon on the outside. I have been to Jeremiah's many times and I love it. The service has always been prompt, the prices reasonable, the ingredients and prep on the food is top notch and the atmosphere is very nice. Decor like a classic ski lodge, complete with a fireplace. The only complaint I have is this place is so good, you can expect a long wait on Saturday and Sunday mornings. read more
