We stopped at this restaurant on the way home from a trip to Denver on a Sunday afternoon. We waited at the front desk awhile before a young man came to seat us. He took our drink orders and gave us menus. My husband finished his iced tea 20 mins. later and still our food orders hadn't been taken! There were servers and busboys running around and looking at us, but no one seemed to be assigned to our table. There were maybe 4 other tables of 2 to 4 people in the restaurant, so not too busy. It seemed like there were a bunch of teenagers running the place. We finally left, stopping only to pay for the iced tea. We have dined at this restaurant many times before when passing through the Ogden area and have always been happy with the place. Just a warning, don't go there on Sunday afternoon if you want a quality restaurant experience. We'll probably eat elsewhere from now on. read more

I honestly don't know how this place doesn't have more stars. The breakfast is awesome. I've wanted to try other things on the menu but the cowboy Benedict is all I've had, its crazy good. I have had the scones too they are your traditional Utah, not British, scones. Excellent. read more

We were passing through on vacation, I got the biscuits and gravy meal, mrs got a skillet meal and my in laws got a sandwich, wings, and a salad. All the portions were very generous. I know my meal was great, the gravy was really tasty and the sausages had kinda of a mapley-sweet taste. Great decor, and the kids meals are priced to encourage bringing kids. I have eaten here my whole life (even had my wedding luncheon and several pageants here) and am so disappointed that it gone so down hill recently. We ate here last Tuesday for my brothers birthday and it was a terrible experience. The service was incredible slow (3 hours) and the food was beyond terrible. I ordered the pot roast and the gravy that covered my entire plate was so salty I couldn't hardy eat it. The mashed potatoes were dry and crumbly and I almost chipped a tooth on 'something' hard (that we studied and never deciphered) when eating them. We never got any drink refills. My brother ordered a steak and even before it was set down on the table we could all smell how rotten it was. It had a greenish color and when given a bite my 3 year old nephew spit it out and wiped his tongue with a napkin. Everyone who had fries complained that they were cold and stale and the burgers were dry and mealy. I'm so sad that we had this experience because it's always been one of our favorites but we definitely won't be back. read more

THE BEST BREAKFAST!!! The wait is long, especially on a Sunday morning (but worth every second of the wait). The food is fantastic with enormous portion sizes...a little pricy, but if you aren't full when you leave... The scones are a must! We would take home 2-3 of them. This is my favorite breakfast place! You get a great meal for a great price. My favorites are; the Berry Cream Cheese French Toast, the Banana Nut French Toast, and the Jeremiah's Big Breakfast. The Sunrise Smoothie is also amazing but it's a bit pricey so I don't always order it. Now here's the glitch, the food is great, but I've never really ever been impressed with the service unfortunately. That is the only reason this review isn't getting 5 stars. read more

We still enjoy the ambience of Jeremiah's, but rarely go anymore for a number of reasons. We always had good service, and used to go for breakfast every weekend. But the crowd on Saturday and Sunday mornings just became intolerable. The food is generally ok, but mundane. The prices are fair enough. On a recent Saturday afternoon, I had sisters visiting, and one of them choose Jeremiah's for lunch, so we went. I asked for extra butter for an English muffin, and was served a souffle cup of light yellow greasy glop that I suppose was whipped margarine, but it bore no resemblance to butter. Tasteless and awful. Another in our party ordered French Toast and left it uneaten because the same substance made it inedible. Wife and two sisters ordered meatloaf sandwiches, and found the flavor and consistency bland and unappetizing. Also, the sandwiches were served on sourdough, and though the meatloaf was very thickly sliced (at least an inch and a half), the slices were so small in circumferance that the meat covered less than half the bread, which was excessively dry. We ended up disassembling the sandwiches, butterflying the meat loaf, and rebuilding them to get some coverage on the bread. I doubt we'll go back anytime soon. read more

This place has a comfortable atmosphere, friendly for any age group not to mention their breakfast choices are very affordable. The menu is simple and easy to read. The service is kept to a decent speed even though they are pretty busy in the mornings. The servers are very cordial and they manage to keep their tables clean no later than 5 minutes after someone leaves. I want to say that the comfort level in this place is a 5 because it seems that everyone is in sync and with a smile on their face. I had the waitress Adi take very good care of me and did not bat an eye to me asking for water with no ice, she was very professional the whole time and checked up on me to make sure everything was good for me. I ordered the Cowboys benedict and all I can say about this dish is WOW. The plate was a very generous size and it was cooked to perfection. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone with a big and healthy appetite and not wanting to spend much. read more

This place is good, but is crowded!!! Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes unless you get there early (at least on a Saturday or Sunday). The first time my husband and I ate here it was good, really good. The last few times we were disappointed. The portions are huge and the prices are right. Still better than IHOP. This is one of my favorite breakfast places! The food is good, the portions are plentiful, and the wait staff are great. The reason I'm not rating them higher is a problem with their customer service. One of their most popular dishes is called the Jeremiah's big breakfast. This item is my absolutely favorite and I order it almost every time. It comes with eggs, meat, hash browns and your choice of pancakes, French toast, or a scone. Jeremiah's also sells waffles... BUT not with the Jeremiah's big breakfast. For some ridiculous reason, if you want the Jeremiah's big breakfast with a waffle, they ask that you pay the full price of the big breakfast and the full price of the waffle! They ask you to pay full price for both items even if you ask that they replace the hash browns and the pancake/scone/French toast in place of the waffle -- ridiculous!!! They won't even consider working with you on the price. It's for this reason that I give Jeremiah's a reduction of a star and a half. The wait is usually pretty ridiculous on the weekends too (35-40 minutes). read more

Was at Jeremiah's for a brunch expecting a normal breakfast diner place but it turned out to be one of the better breakfast place I've been to. Word of caution, call ahead on weekends or expect a 30 min wait. The selection of food was great and full of variety to accommodate all sort of eaters, from lean marathon runners to people who just want to pig out this is definitely a place worth checking out. With that said, we had ordered the power breakfast with buffalo burger(really just a patty), the cinnamon roll and Cobb omelette. The power breakfast was definitely lean as evident by the smaller portion and patty. I know buffalo is a leaner meat but the buffalo patty that I had order was almost too dry. The Cobb omelette was actual a delectable mix of chicken spinach and bleu cheese, but careful the bleu cheese can be overwhelming for some but personally I enjoyed it. Lastly, the cinnamon roll was what really got 4 stars from me. The roll was larger than my face and probably around 2lbs. The outside of the roll was crispy enough without undercooking the inside and keep it fluffy. This was enough to be a meal for two by itself. Overall great place for breakfast, a little disappointed by the "buffalo burger" but the cinnamon roll alone is worth the try. read more

We have had breakfast here about once a month for many years. We typically call ahead, & they'll tell us it will be 15-20 minutes. Normally we arrive at the restaurant at the time they quoted, but we still end up waiting anywhere from 10-20 minutes more for a table. This is not a problem. It is the type of thing we expect at a busy place. However, this morning, because of traffic and some other issues, we arrived less than 5 minutes later than the time they quoted us on the phone, & they knocked us all of the way down to the bottom of the list. They said it would be 30-35, but we knew this really meant 45. My elderly Mother can't stand that long & has a hard time getting into and out of their low furniture, so we left & went to Criddles Grill instead. Both the service & the food were superior, and the price was actually lower. We won't be going back to Jeremiah's to take a chance on being treated this way again. read more

I have ate here in the past and it was okay but today was just horrible. My wife ordered the waffle with "fresh strawberries" it even stated. ..when in season...so you would think actual strawberries. Nope. It was a red gel that had a strawberry taste...oh yeah NO STRAWBERRIES!!! And strawberries are in season...it's June 9th. The service was horrible too on top of it. The waitress asked what we wanted to drink then came back ten minutes later with the drinks then dropped off the food. She came back (walk by) and asked if we wanted anything else I pointed at my drink as she went by (Because she never stopped walking) and she stated she will bring one by....never did. We then flagged down another waiter to get our check after watching her coddle the other tables. Horrible food. Not as advertised. Horrible service.
