My husband had the chicken fried steak which was just ground beef dipped in a bland "whatever you want to call it" coating and was over cooked. Wonderful restaurant! If you are on I-5 and need some food this is the place. This is the best quality food with fantastic staff. If you are looking for the perfect place to eat right off of I-5 you have to stop here it is located across from the Darigold plant next to the rail road crossing. They are open Thanksgiving and Christmas and run special buffets on those days. The baked ham was awesome, and homemade biscuits and gravy were the BOMB!!!! If you're interested in mixed drinks they serve just about anything you Want. The owner stopped by our table numerous times to make sure everything was ok. I stumbled upon this awesome place thanks to Yelp's reviews. farm to table and gluten-free are the best places!!! And this one did not disappoint! There was so much on the menu to choose from. I had the chicken option of the wild cobbler salad and the server/bartender suggested I try all three of the vinegarette dressing when I couldn't make up my mind. So I dipped into the garlic, then the balsamic, that was good too and finally the berry, which was a bit on the sweet side but a few drops of that with the garlic was THE BEST! If i was only to choose one, I would pick the garlic, but why not go all in and have both! Warning the salad is huge and delicious! I paired this with the Benzinger Chardonnay... wonderful!!!!! This is a solid option for lunch when you're on the road from PDX to SEA, or vice versa. Or if you're jus' chillin' in Centralia and need some grubbins. Jeremy's Farm to Table offers a variety of fare that's easy for everyone in the family. First off, this place is HUGE. It can obviously seat a ton of people, and judging by the waiting area up front, it gets busy anyway. There's a restaurant side with a ton of main floor and mezzanine seating, and then a bar side with more seating and a stage for live entertainment. At lunch it's all about the restaurant side. Menu offers breakfast until mid-afternoon (at least on the weekends) and lunch including pizza, burgers, sandwiches (hot and cold), salads, and some interesting mains. I opted for a salad and some cheese curds, while my dining companions went for the fish tacos. We were all happy with our food. There's also a market attached with local produce. We didn't visit us, but cool that they have it. Overall, it's worth the couple of extra blocks of travel off the highway to not eat fast food! read more

Then the food took one hour! We ordered the special and a hamburger, which my hamburger came out with stuff I said I didn't want. My fries came out burnt while my sons in his kids meal were perfect. We actually had to get up to find our check because our waitress was mia. When I told her our fries were burt but the kids meal wasn't... while handing her cash... her suggestion was more fries. First time here. Assumed it was the best restaurant in the area, but I was wrong. The sign with the specials said mushroom chowder, but found out nobody bothered to update it to the current special, clam chowder. It was made differently, it was just ok with very few clams and not very warm. For dinner I had the Arctic char and my dad the fettuccini Alfredo. My fish was cooked a little too long, but what made me sign 3 stars was the frozen veggies served at a farm to table restaurant. Yum yum yum!!!! My first time to this farm to table restaurant/grocery. Had the Pacific Northwest pizza-and now have my new "if I get to choose my last meal".... so delicious- have never thought of this combination- had to eat slowly to savor every bite! Since everything (had small salad ) and my girl friend had the fish and chips which were also amazing! Had to splurge and do desert! Chocolate mousse... not to rich - just right! Heading to Portland again for the day, my friends and I went yelping for a gluten free breakfast option restaurant. Here in Chehalis WA. we found what we were looking for, Monday mornings are not that busy but I'm sure they have a substantial weekend crowd waiting to chow down on gluten free chicken fried steak, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and a nice selection of egg items as well. We ordered enough for an army! French toast with peach/blueberry compote, chicken fried steak, gluten free biscuits, and non nitrate sides of bacon. I have to say, this would be a great place whether your gluten free or not to stop and have a bite to eat on your way down to Portland or up to Seattle- friendly service, nice portions, and great menu selections. I really, really, really want to give this place more stars. It is Chehalis, and this is one place besides Boccattas in Centralia that knows what fresh healthy food is. The problem is that the portions are so small at Jeremy's and I always leave not quite full. I am not a big person nor do I require a lot of food but the portions are small and the prices are big. I appreciate the healthy and fresh ingredients and the quick and friendlyservice though. I also love being able to stop by the produce side of the store and get fresh produce. The prices are ok - they are not over the top great bargains but it is a tad less than Safeway. Produce is usually fresh and very tasty. I love that they offer Peace Love and Raw items from Oly and that they offer local desserts as well. I would stop here for lunch several times a week if they would lower prices or increase portion sizes (including to go items - nothing worse than getting back to the office, opening the box, and seeing a dinky little salad). As for now, I will stop in whenever I get the feeling but I know i would be more frequent if they could make a few tweaks. I wish this place a lot of luck. I would've never expected to wander into an establishment like this passing through Lewis County. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the ambience was extremely comfortable. I sat in the bar, and it reminded me of many of the higher end places that I've eaten at in Seattle or Bellevue. The live piano didn't hurt either. Gave it 4 stars because this is usually where I love to eat dinner. Last year we did the Mother's Day brunch and it was fantastic. This year, not so much. Waited for plates and silverware twice, and then when we finally started going through the line, everything was almost empty. No fruit, no toppings for the salad. There were no eggs and very little gravy. The star of the show was the prime rib, always perfect. I just feel like they over booked and under delivered. At $45/person, I'd expect more. Plus I had fruit flies in my water both times he brought it to me. You'd think after the first time, he would have made sure there weren't any the second. First time there was one, second time there were three. Waiter never picked up empty plates or silverware which they clearly needed. Next year we will try something else for Mother's Day. read more

We stopped to order food to eat in the car. We drove up and ordered thru the window. A very friendly young man helped us decide what to order. Vegetarian. Vegetarian pesto panini with fries with ranch sauce and portobello mushroom burger with fries and ketchup. Around $12 each.including a coffee and Dr. Pepper. Went in to use restroom. This place is definitely a gem!!! My husband and I were on a road trip and were passing through when we found it. During COVID, they are still offering indoor and outdoor seating options(of course social distanced). The food was phenomenal!!! I had a cup of the low calorie vegetable soup, had tons of different veggies!!!! The best veggie soup I have ever had. My husband had the fish n chips with their house sauce and loved it!!! I also, had a personal sized Hawaiian pizza with added jalapeños. Delicious!!! It had actually real chunks and pieces of ham on it. First time to the area so didn't know what to expect. Fabulous experience. The place was busy, got there a little after 5pm on a Saturday. The regular dining area was full so they put us in the lounge side which was very spacious. Sat by the window where you had a view of when the trains went by. Service was excellent and so was the food. Live music in lounge was to start at 7pm. The most outstanding was their delicious mushroom soup. We had prime rib, ribeye, creme brûlée and fruit crisp. All good. The bathroom was clean. They had one stall for men, one stall for women and a third one for the family. Just a warm pleasant atmosphere at this place. Well, I think $23.00 for a large (16") 1/2 Club, 1/2 Sicilian was bit pricey. The Club half was not as impressive as the Sicilian. Their pizza dough/crust was good as well as the base sauces they use too. Overall, I liked the pizza. Wasn't a big fan of the Roma tomatoes being cooked with the pizza. That just my personal preference tho. I'd probably go back and dine in to try other food they offer because the Sicilian side of my pizza was delicious!! Suggestions: If you order a pizza to go, you might have to wait longer than expected. If the place is busy and you want to dine in, I'd bet heavily on slow service. read more
