The biscuits and gravy are to die for. I got one of their biggest breakfast items and I had to take a nap and what was great was it was only 10 dollars. My girlfriend got the veggie omelet which was around 7 dollars. It's a local joint hidden. This was the first eating establishment I tried in Pocatello and they raised the bar to a high degree!! We never leave without a load of food to go and both the cinnamon and the caramel rolls are the best I've ever had by a country mile! I'm not usually an old fashioned cafe type person but this place was good with homemade food. Had a jumbo breakfast sandwich. Really tasty food and lots of it. Hash browns are served with gravy, I had my gravy on the side because I was skeptical but the gravy was really good. Still would get it on the side to control the amount. Great little cafe. Homemade sausage gravy was delicious. I didn't like the sausage patty, it was thick and greasy. However my eggs were cooked perfectly and my waffle was fantastic! I am surprised people are not satisfied with their service. We had the nicest waitress; she regularly checked on us, was very friendly and patient and even gave us free potato salad to try. This used to be our favorite place, but our last four visits have been disappointing. Today the coffee tasted like water, the biscuit was dry and hard, waitresses were bickering, service is cold. Last time we waited 45 minutes for our order, and then it was completely wrong. We've noticed it's not as busy as it used to be on weekends, so maybe others have noticed the changes too. Did not receive one refill on our coffee; and the sausage gravy tasted like there was dish soap in it. (Both of us took a bite and said the same thing.) But everything else was really good there gravy was also a little underwhelmingbut it was okay the bacon the ham the eggs and the potatoes were cooked perfectly The biscuits and gravy and we're good big thick great biscuits and I had flapjacks which were also good and The side portion was huge. It was super busy when I arrived, so the initial greeting and service left something to be desired. However the food was really good, and the portion size was huge. I ordered the big jumbo breakfast. I received four half slices of French toast, sausage patty, eggs, and hash browns. I'm 6'2", 300 lbs, with a big appetite and I couldn't finish it. I could have easily shared this meal with my 11 year old son and we would both be full. Overall great food, classic diner environment, and I would certainly recommend for breakfast.
