    Jerk Chicken Rasta Pasta
    Francis V.

I ordered the jerk chicken Rasta pasta. It comes with 5 drumettes. The chicken flavor was ok and the pasta was good but needed more sauce and vegetables (onion/bell pepper). My husband ordered the oxtail mac. The oxtails were a little tough for my liking. I don't know how the service and ambiance was because my husband picked up the food. I can say that the food was still really hot when he made it home.

I had this place last week. I was stunned by the delicious flavors. I had the lamb chops, mash potatoes, and mac n cheese. Everything was so well seasoned and packed with all kinds of love. I recommend everyone try this place. Lots of great food, and really cool vibes.

The food and service was amazing. Customer service was great good vibes and I really enjoyed myself if you're looking for a jerk food come here.

First time trying Jerk Chicken LA and I'm honestly confused.... Ima just say yall own me another plate 5.8/10

I saw the plates online and they looked nicely plated, sauced up, everything looking professional. That's literally what made me pull up and spend my money. But the plate I actually got? Man... this was not it. Presentation alone was rough. It didn't even look appetizing when I opened it. And when food doesn't look good to the eye, nine times out of ten it's not hitting the tongue either. Taste-wise I'm giving it a 5.8/10 at best. The cabbage was the only thing that was decent. For my first experience, this was disappointing because the food online looked way better than what was served. So look... Jerk Chicken LA, I'm keeping it real: Y'all owe me another plate. Let me run it back so I can see what the hype is actually about and give a fair review Because right now the marketing and the reality are two completely different plates

Pasta was creamy, spicy and perfectly cooked. The jerk drummettes were a tad bit tough. The cabbage was soggy and salty. I ordered Grub Hub delivery. The food was delivered by a guy on a bicycle. That my have affected the quantity. I wish I had experienced this food in the restaurant, so I could feel the vibe of the place and get entree suggestions.

We celebrated my husband's birthday here. The food was excellent and the service was superb. We will be back.

Rasta Pasta is just Jerk Chicken on top of cooked pasta Penne. No creamy sauce or sauce at all. The cabbage was good.

I loved the lighting throughout the restaurant, and if you're seated near the counter you get a great view of the chefs cooking. We ordered the bluefin tuna toast, cornbread, grilled pork chop, and beef tartare. The bluefin tuna toast was perfectly seasoned and came pre cut making it easy to share. The grilled pork chop was super tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The beef tartare was also really good, but the cornbread was definitely the star of the meal. The texture was perfect and I can see why everyone recommends it. They also have a great wine selection if you're looking for something to pair with your food. Our server was super knowledgeable and attentive. The wine recommendations paired perfectly with everything we ordered. Overall, everything was delicious and definitely lived up to the hype!!

They seated a bunch of people before me, but I ended up being first on the waitlist. It took maybe 30 minutes to get a table. I highly recommend making a reservation! Service was really good. The host was very friendly and handled the long line very well. It seemed like all the servers were hands on and looked out for the entire dining room. I had a different person refilling water, clearing old plates, and bringing new utensils. They were all nice. The menu was ok because it listed a bunch of appetizers and sides but only three mains (fish, pork, beef). The dessert is also included at the bottom. I went with the cornbread, rice, and beef ribeye. -Edna's Sour Milk Cornbread $21 - so buttery, so good. The honey was delicious. This is the "must order" dish here. -Carolina Gold Rice $31 - high price for small portion size. Too salty. -Beef Ribeye $149 - pretty good. They cut the beef into slices. They also included bone marrow in the bone, grilled lemon, and sea salt. (We had a kinda funny issue with the ribeye, but the server so kindly helped us.) Good luck finding street parking. Some outdoor seating available. Bathroom is in the back. I would visit again!

Oh well, I'll have to come back bc there are still things I want to try. This time, the highlight was the fried chicken wings. Wow, that crisp! Tables looked available around 5pm though so walk-ins could be possible. Ambiance: Outside was nice and inside looked dimly lit and romantic. We were seated promptly and service was good. Food: Rice slushy had a strangely strong cinnamon-like taste to it that traditional rice punch doesn't have which was so overpowering, it made it difficult to go back for more sips. Oysters - good though small, enjoyed the kelp mignonette Korean Aguachile - Delicate tilefish completely overwhelmed by cold kimchi broth with actual icy slush in it and small amounts of fish Steak Tartare - The hot stone bowl seemed to defeat the purpose of a tartare, as it cooked the steak once mixed. The perilla leaves were also cut in large strips relative to the beef. Chilled Acorn Noodle - The perilla oil was nonexistent in flavor though the dish didn't need it and was good without. Overall, portions were small for the price and dishes weren't well-executed so despite being excited for more Korean options in West LA, I'd much rather make the drive to Koreatown for better portions, prices, and flavors.

The attention to detail was insane even from the floral elevator that takes you up to the silver etched with Dior. The ambiance was gorgeous and the service was impeccable. Service was so attentive to our friend's dietary restrictions and let us know of the accommodations they could make. FYI they cook with a lot of alcohol not a lot as in it tastes boozy but a lot in that it's in a lot of the sauces. But the food itself was excellent the mushroom consommé was a masterpiece both aesthetically and gastronomically. I also had the abalone which was cooked perfectly so that it wasn't rubbery. It was way out of my comfort zone but delicious. I almost forgot they set the tone with the amuse buche which was like a floral pickle chip? I don't know how to describe it other than it was BEAUTIFUL and tasted like a dill chip. The whole experience was fascinating and a great place to people watch. Can't wait to go again. Be sure to dress to impress as there was no shortage of Hermes and Dior around.
