My Huevos Rancheros were good but nothing memorable. They need to work on their pancake skills they overcooked my whole stack.

We ate breakfast here a few weeks ago because it's conveniently located near the Tucson airport. Don't judge a book by its cover! The restaurant itself is nothing above average, but the food is on point! We ordered different items to include an omelet, pigs in a blanket, pancake sandwich and all were very good. Quick visit to see the family and found myself eating here all 3 days and I didn't mind in the least! Over the 3 days I had the BLT with avocado, the waffle and egg special and the huevos rancheros. My favorite was the huevos rancheros and it was the best I ever had. Beans and a delicious salsa smothered the corn tortillas and eggs. BLT was also very good. It fell a part when I ate it but it was good nonetheless. Waffle was also perfectly cooked. As for service, it was perfect the establishment and setting. This is the kind of place where they get you in and out and expect you to be ready to order (without 600 special requests or questions along he way) and appreciate it when you operate that way too. Service was great every time we were there. If you're looking for a fancy and leisurely breakfast spot then you're better off going to one of the hotels in the area for that experience. Stopped for breakfast one midweek morning and found lots of locals at their favorite breakfast spot. Most on first name basis with the staff which was friendly. We stopped here on our way to California. Great local hangout where the waitress knew everyone there except us. Service was fast and courteous. The food was on point for our family. I order their #1 breakfast special which was two eggs and hash browns. I was hungry and thought I wasn't going to get very much food. I was surprised with my portion, more than what I needed. First time visitor to Tuscon and found this gem on Yelp. It's a good ole fashion diner with all food prepared from scratch. Has the best Egg's Benedict ever! Serves a wide variety of breakfast and lunch foods. Large portions with very reasonable prices. Brianna was knowledgable, friendly offering responsive service. Appears to be a local favorite! I wanted to take my son to eat here, it was busy but was able to sit right away. Our food took forever to come, but was good. The complaint I have is the waitress that was helping us, she was loud when I mentioned the Save Around coupon book that high schools sell in the Tucson area. She was just so ready to let me down on it, saying they are not part of it and rude about it. Others started to listen to our conversation and she was so loud about it and said I should contact the school. Upon reading other reviews it happened to another person rudeness was noted too. Each Jerry Bob's Restaurant is owned and managed by different people. The one on Valencia in Tucson is owned by a Hispanic family and is outstanding. They have some Mexican dishes and we can actually get Menudo (white or red) and many regular food options like chicken fried steak are very large portions. This is a small restaurant in a cheap strip mall in a sketchy part of Tucson. It is around the corner from our hotel so we walked over not expecting much. This edition of the mini chain is Very good. The friendly waitress told me their menu is different then the other Jerr yBobs. It has a menu filled with Mexican dishes plus a few regular deli sandwiches. We ate there twice in two days and both meals were delicious. The tortilla soup was the best I have ever had and the chile relleno was great. A gem of a place. Others in our group had chicken fried chicken, beef sandwich and pancakes. All were good. Prices were low. The server was friendly. Cannot find anything negative to say about Jerry Bob's. It will definitely be our go to breakfast restaurant whenever we are in Tucson. The servers were all very friendly and very efficient. You get a lot of food for the money and the food was perfectly prepared. The dining area and the restrooms were very clean. When traveling I make a serious effort to avoid franchise food. Often Yelp provides good insight to a family owned or similar type atmosphere. Today at the hotel my wife overheard Jerry Bob's mentioned, along with three franchise restuarants. Feeling adventureous, we didn't Yelp it. "Let's just go." We were NOT dissapointed! Just finish was there with some friends. It's not that crowded today like I was expecting. I have to agree with some other reviews service very poor didn't keep up with refills.
