I would go to any provider there because they are all so amazing at what they do but I primarily go to Gul for my lash lifts and tints but I have gotten many services including lash extensions, eye brow wax, and russian manicures by every one of these ladies and they do a 10000/10 job. Exceptional Lashes, but a bit Chilly environment ... burrr I recently visited this eyelash bar, and I must say, the lash extensions are top-notch! The retention is impressive - my lashes have stayed intact longer than some other places I've tried and lash glue is incredibly invisible. The technician (wish I could recall her name) was skilled and meticulous, ensuring a very natural look that I was going for "the barely there no one knows lash". Love it!! However, the ambiance left a bit to be desired. Beautiful decor, BUT unfortunately for me, It was unusually cold when I arrived, and it took them a while to adjust the temperature. Unfortunately, I ended up catching a cold, which was a bit of a downer. I was running late so I called to let them know and they still took me as an appointment, which I greatly appreciated! My technician was Nazgul, she was sweet and did an incredible job. I love how my lashes came out! My only issue was that she didn't explain any of the after care to me, which may have been because she had another client. It was my first time getting lashes so I was super confused about how to care for them once I got home. Thankfully, I was able to ask another technician and she gave me a card with all of the details for after care. Will be back! read more

I used to like this place, but now you couldn't pay me to come back. I showed Hannah how I wanted them to look (photo with direct comparison of the wispy long curly lashes I wanted versus the super full cat eye I left with and explicitly didn't want). I've never left a place with something so drastically different than what I previously got at that same studio and which I showed them a photo reference for. When I spoke with her about it, she said she added more "because everyone always wants more afterwards". I absolutely did not, and I couldn't have made it more clear. When I first saw them, they were uneven, over full, and not at all what I wanted. My eyes were so dreadfully red and were for over 5 days (other photo for reference). They quickly fell off (thank God, but also what a waste of money). The lashes felt crusty and dry. Hannah to her benefit offered to fix them afterwards, but you couldn't pay me to come back after my visual and verbal instructions were completely disregarded and the glue used had a horrific reaction (I've been seen multiple times here with other technicians and never had this bad of a reaction to glue). Safe to say, I won't be coming back - both because my instructions were ignored and the tech thought she knew best and overrode my request and because the hygiene clearly wasn't there. The photos show just that despite repeated cleanings and eye drops (literally like once an hour). It was humiliating to go to work looking like I had cried for 3 days straight and it regularly caused a scene. read more

Best lash experience I've ever had. Clean, comfortable salon, very relaxing and gentle technician. My lashes were just what I wanted and I waited 2 weeks to review so I know they last well also. I was hesitant to get my lashes done because every place I've gone in the past (Hoboken, Ridgewood, NYC, etc.) they always do it too dramatic and I end up removing. Other salons also never really took the time to explain the different styles and selections of lashes, which my technician here did very well. Jersey city lash bar did exactly what I wanted - very natural and great.
