#13 The Original Italian mikes way
    Brooke D.

I ordered five sandwiches from here the other day and had a positive experience with mobile order and timeliness of picking up my food. My sandwich tasted great and really hit the spot after a long day of moving. Unfortunately one of the sandwiches got messed up and we got the wrong item but that really wasn't too big of a deal for us. Just wanted to leave a review highlighting that we always have a positive experience here but to make sure that they are double checking orders. Definitely will be back!

#13 The Original Italian - Added mustard, pickles, pepperoncini - Very Good

Great sub sandwich. I get the mini which is plenty along with a bag of chips and a Mountain Dew. I always get my favorite - #13 The Original Italian with mustard, pickles, pepperoncinis, and jalapeños.

I received brisk service from the employees behind the counter. However, the music was louder than their voices, so both the customers before me and I had to ask them to repeat themselves.  The vegetables and bread were fresh.  They made my sub to my specification. I appreciated that I was not asked if I wanted bacon on my Club Sub (as other locations have), since it's part of the sandwich. Other than the loud music, the two employees I encountered were simply not engaged. I don't know if they were tired, stressed, or what. But communicating was difficult.  I felt I was practically a bother when I had to ask them to repeat themselves. That's poor customer service.

I never understand how their subs could be made better than other sub places. I went for the first time this week and was pleasantly surprised. The three people working were so friendly and when I said I wanted a cheesesteak, the cashier recommended the 43. I'm glad I went with his recommendation. It was phenomenal and I had no idea they cook their steak once you order. The bread was also so fresh and light. You get a ton of meat on the sandwich. I'm looking forward to returning.

I first came across Jersey Mikes while living in SA and instantly became smitten. I always order the # 13 The original Italian - Provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni. I get everything on it, including banana peppers, and pickles. Tip- Sundays kids eat free

Best sandwiches in Austin, hands-down. Everything else--Subway, Thundercloud, Quizno's, etc.--pales in comparison.

Five stars for the consistent customer service and quality of food. This place is owner operated and it shows.

Good ass addictive sandwich and a really friendly staff. The large is a little pricey but they make a mean club.

I've been to countless Chic-fil-a locations and they are always superb in their service, but for some reason this location is really sub-par. It's rare I give a 1 star, but when I'm given attitude by the counter "you only need to scan it once", not knowing my app was scanned in the first place. And not a single smile amongst the staff, you know the operator-owner didn't drink the Chic-fil-a tea (and lemonade). One of the things I really respect about Chic-fil-a is their leadership and service standards, unfortunately this one needs to go back to training on it's personality.

This location loves to "correct" my order as if I don't understand what I'm requesting or what it costs. I get to the window, see smaller cups than I ordered, and I'm told...AGAIN AND AGAIN LIKE I DO NOT KNOW...that large cups cost extra. I'm an adult. I know what I ordered. I know what it costs. Charge me and keep it moving. No other Chick-fil-A in this city pulls this stunt. FIRST, the other locations don't charge for ice (MLK near UT? Parmer and Dessau?). SECONDLY, the other locations don't gatekeep ice. They don't swap sizes. They don't question my order like they're doing me a favor. But the RESEARCH location does it every time, and it's insulting. You don't second-guess someone ordering a sandwich so why second-guess ice? Just give customers what they order the first time. It's really that simple.

With a recent diagnosis of high cholesterol, I am trying to eat even better. With that said, I am not going to be that girl is maniacal regarding sweets. You know the type, everywhere the person goes they have to make a public service announcement about their diet. In fact, Since I had a donut this morning, I am having a salad for lunch and dinner. Everything in moderation is my mantra in life. Today was my first day in Schlotzsky's in many moons. I remember the restaurant having an assortment of salads that were fresh, high in protein, and delicious tasting. Chicken Cobb Salad was my salad de jour. The salad is comprised of grilled chicken, bacon bits, hard-boiled egg, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and mixed greens with a creamy ranch dressing on the side. I do not usually pour salad dressing on my salad, but instead dip my fork into the salad dressing and then add salad to fork. It is a eating trick I learned about 20 years ago. Salad doused with too much dressing, quickly becomes super unhealthy. It is amazing how many calories are in salad dressing and unhealthy fats. The greens were fresh and crisp. The chicken breast was tender, well-seasoned, and thinly sliced...it might even be mistaken for turkey if you did not taste it first. The different textures and flavors made the Chicken Cobb salad delicious to eat. Service was great...we were greeted as soon as we went up to the cashier and our food was prepared rather quickly. When we lived in Washington state, we rarely could purchase a lunch salad under $15. This salad was priced sub $10, therefore exceeded our expectations. The salad was so large it was big enough for two means, so even a great value. Schlotzsky's interior is eye-catching and colorful. It has a rather whimsical and inviting persona. Also, there is ample free parking. Schlotzsky's is awesome for a quick high-protein salad.

My kiddo loves their cheese pizza which is always a great deal for a meal with a drink and cookie for their kids meal option. I love their salads as the portions are huge and every time I get the entree salad, the ingredients and garlic bread side that comes with it is so fresh. My go to these days is mobile ordering and picking up my food, which the app works well and even rewards you with a loyalty system. The offerings for BOGO Wednesday pizza makes family meals for dinner a great option for us during the work week when we don't want to cook. It's a clean, safe space, and I also appreciate the bathrooms were well maintained and the staff who accommodate our orders were very friendly and nice! You can do no wrong when you stop at Schlotzsky's so they have my heart and my return loyalty for family noms!
