I honestly love jersey mike's. Their subs are the best...but I have to say that when you are asked by the credit card machine--if you would like to leave a tip--I find very tacky. This is a cheapskate way of telling their customers, "hey, we don't pay our employees enough, so we're going to pass that responsibility on to our customers." Do us a favor and drop that request from the menu. read more

Tonight I ordered the meatball sub for the first time and it was an absolute disappointment. I should have known something was wrong when the employee who gave me the sub acted a bit weird. From the way he was acting all I was thinking, while driving home, was that this was going to be a disaster and I was correct. I drove about 5 minutes to my apartment and when I opened the bag what I found was a $13 sub that could have been outsubed by a $6 subway meatball sub. The first thing I noted was that the cheese wasn't melted. I immediately then checked the temperature of the meatballs/sauce and there was no temperature, in fact the meatballs were cold in the middle, not warm, not lukewarm, they were cold and so was the sauce. They most likely didn't have the meatballs ready so they warmed them up a bit, threw some cheese and walla! And do not tell me that It was the 5 minute drive that caused it to get that cold. I've driven longer with subway meatball subs and they're always hot. This was a total and complete scam, i mean, even subway...subway makes a better meatball sub and at more than half the price wow.. I didn't have the time to go back but even so I would have not trusted what I would have gotten after complaining. Whoever made the sub knew what they gave me and went through with it anyway. Flying pizza is about 5 minutes away from Jersey Mikes and they make a meatball sub that costs half the price and it's at least 10 times better; the meatballs are more flavorful, they actually put it in the oven and it arrives at my apartment hot with cheese melted. But seriously Subway's meatball sub is better than JM's just with the simple fact that you will get a hot sub. In conclusion, If you feel like a meatball sub and want to waste your money then head on over to Jersey Mike's. The sub went in the trash btw. read more

Yum, yum, yum! Tried Jersey Mike's shortly after this location opened. The Club Sub (#8) is delicious. There is something tantalizing about their bacon. :) My hubby likes the Italian. The larges are just that. L-A-R-G-E. They freshly bake their bread, but your only choices are white or wheat. Or you can get any of the subs in a wrap (never tried that though). You go to the counter and tell them which sandwich you want and they slice your meat fresh. Then they have a small assortment of toppings you can add to your sandwich for free or you can just get it "Mike's Way" - which is lettuce tomato, onion, red wine vinaigrette, oil, and spices. Really good. Been back here several times and never had a bad sandwich. Food gets five stars from me. The service however is more of a three. EVERY time we've gone there's been confusion from the employees for one thing or another, despite having at least 5 employees working the counter. First time we went we got charged for an extra sandwich, and on our last visit, they did the same (luckily both times we caught before leaving). Almost always they are SUPER slow topping and wrapping your sandwich. Granted the subs have always been correct and tasty, but a little hustle would be appreciated. Make sure you sign up for their rewards card; you get it scanned each visit and earn points you can redeem for free sandwiches. Give it a shot; try not to be put off by the shoddy service, the sandwiches are really great! read more

Horrible customer service!! They were not friendly and the sub was not made with ANY love!! Previously I went to Jersey Mike's Subs in Lexington, Ky and it was wonderful!! Made me crave another one. Then I go here and get this trash sub!! Makes me never want to go again!! I'm so distraught and I feel betrayed. Both times I got the Big Kahuna. There were no customers when we walked in but the service was cold and distant. The lady that "greeted" us said, what would you like ....no hello or how are you at all!!! She was not helpful and seemed as though she was trying to get us out the way so she could chat it up her friends!! The sub it's self didn't resemble the one I previously received. It looked thrown together. As well a being much smaller. The tall male there was very friendly when we were leaving! The one highlight! Smh horrendous customer service for sure!!! read more

I am beyond thrilled to finally have a sub sandwich place I can eat at without having to get a salad instead of a sandwich. I used to love Jersey Mike's before I started having issues with a gluten sensitivity. I now had to order the tub salads. I started going less often cuz it was just kind of depressing honestly. Not that I don't enjoy the salads, I actually really like the tub version of the turkey and provolone "Mike's Way". It's delicious. But I missed my subs and watching my friends order subs while I had to order a salad was a bummer. But one day recently I walked in planning to get another salad and was surprised to see they had gluten free sub buns now. What? Yay! Ordered the turkey and provolone on gluten free, Mike's Way, and when I got home, it was amazing. The gluten free bread actually works better, in my opinion, with the oil and vinegar mix cuz it doesn't get soggy as easily as the regular bread. I've also tried the Philly cheesesteak on it and that's good too. I'm so happy, I wish all sub sandwich places would get gluten free bread lol. Anyway, whether you're gluten free or not, I recommend this place. Plenty of sandwich options and the staff has always been friendly when I've come in. It's always been pretty clean too, in front of the counter and behind. read more

They are my new fave in town for many many reasons. First, the sandwiches are "the bomb" baby! The meat is freshly sliced, nice and thin just the way this girl likes it! They do not have a plethora of toppings like subway but ladies and gents this is NOT subway. They don't masquerade as such either. They are proud of their creations and it shows in the attitude of their wonderful employees. Everyone is very friendly and professional. Not only are they friendly, they always engage in genuine conversation. You feel like family in there. They are also extremely clean!!! I swear you could eat off the floors (not that I recommend it). I am one of the few that does not get their sub "Mike's Way" only because I have some dietary restrictions. I have tried it though and I DO recommend it. You will not be disappointed if you do it "your" way, though. I can't say enough wonderful things about Jersey Mike's. You just have to try it for yourself!!! read more

I knew Mike long before he sold his place and it became a franchise, I had his subs while in the Navy and surf fishing at the Jersey shore Point Pleasant and Sea Side .. also Thom's River.. The Now called Jersey Mike subs are not bad but one mistake, they made, Mike made his with AC Italian Rolls made at Atlantic City Bakery. Its not a true Italian sub or Atlantic city sub unless you have the right Roll. read more

Great subs, fresh sliced meats and cheeses. Always get quick, super friendly service. My only complaint is that I would like the option of toasted bread. Just my preference. they also seem to always be cleaning the dining/drink area when I am in there. My favorite place to stop in for a quick lunch. read more

The service is always really fast when I go for lunch. There is usually a line, but they move ppl through quickly. I usually get a salad (sub in a tub), but the sandwiches are great and always taste super fresh. I always get whatever I order "mike's way", which is tomato, onion, herbs and oil/vinegar. Yum!
