The staff is very friendly as are the cistomers! The place is usually very busy especially during the lunch rush. You wait a bit for your order but you know it's all freshly prepared! They run a very efficient operation! I pick up sandwiches here several times a month. Generous portions. Sandwiches come in Mini, Small (6"), and Large (12"). Small is plenty for an average eater. Been coming here for many years! They also have great side salads, etc.

There's seating when you walk in and more seating in the back area of the deli. Parking can be hit or miss and the spot is easy to pass by, but that breakfast burrito is worth circling the plaza for. And if I don't feel like cooking, I can come for lunch in order to walk away with a sandwich that they can make for me. As alluded to in my initial review, Chick-fil-A rewards members in the Greater LA area can get a free chicken sandwich anytime within the next 3-4 days after an LAFC home win as long as they open the app that same evening. There was also a promo involving the LA Angels, but it seems to have changed so that you'd actually have to go to their home games to be eligible. Not with LAFC, who just recently played their last home game of the year, at least for the regular season, so I figured in preparation for the season of thanks, I'll put out this review update as a thank you to both LAFC and Chick-fil-A for the partnership over the past few years. My last visit was on Saturday, the last day the reward could be redeemed, and I was planning to attend a community event nearby. It had been a pretty hectic day and even week for that matter, so I figured making Chick-fil-A my last stop before said event would make for a nice break from everything that was going on this past week. I arrived at about 4 PM, and there were a handful of employees behind the counter chatting with each other, yet no customer was in line. It took about a minute before one of those employees, Arem I believe, came over to the register to assist me. I feel at this location, the employees aren't as punctual at serving the customer, but once they do, their good service commences. However, good service may also accompany slow service, and in this case, it felt a little slower than the Lakewood location, which would normally be my go-to. Here, it took about 7 minutes, which may not seem that long, but I've usually gotten my sandwich a few minutes quicker at other locations, especially Lakewood. It wasn't even that busy inside, especially since it was an hour that's too late to be called lunch, but too early to be called dinner, so at peak hours, I would expect a longer wait for your meal, especially for a whole family. However, there was plenty of Halloween decor around the restaurant that made the wait more than manageable. The skeleton by the restrooms with a Krispy Kreme style hat and an orange "Chick-or-Treat" shirt was a really nice touch. Say hi to Bone-ita on your next visit this month, and she'll give you a mint (or two) in a bucket! If you're really nice, she'll also let you tap a special button on the bucket that will make the handle light up. The tables have been maintained pretty well with flower vases on most of them inside the restaurant. It might have been a thing even before my initial review, but you can actually order from your table on your mobile device, and then they'd bring your order out to you. With how slow they've been on my recent visits, I may have to try that next time I visit this location. Something different between this year and last is that for the sauces that come in rectangular tubs, you have to request them at the register when you place your order. In the past, anybody could just grab any number of them at the counter across from the register, but now, that counter will only have the more common condiments like mayo, mustard, ketchup, and Honey Roasted BBQ sauce. The Lakewood location did the same thing too, and I wouldn't be surprised if other locations followed suit as well. The chicken sandwich tasted just like how it should taste like, with pickles underneath the chicken to further enhance the taste profile of the sandwich. It's certainly not the best tasting chicken sandwich, but unless you hate pickles or meat in general, you just can't go wrong with the original since 1964, as stated on their insulated bags. This probably won't make a "It's the Little Things" segment on their website, but when I went to toss my trash into the trash bin, I saw there were two holes: one for regular waste, and one for green waste. I get befuddled at times deciding the type of waste between the two, but one of the nice employees told me it didn't matter. So I just tossed the waste through the regular waste hole, and he pulled out just one trash bin that was underneath both holes. Turns out they separate the trash in the back, which made me wonder why we'd even be asked to separate the two up front if they were going to do so later? We were both confused by this and shared a few laughs, which did ease up the tension that had been building up in my system this past week. Service was overall good nonetheless. I still recommend patronizing this Chick-fil-A in Cerritos, but do hope they can be more punctual and provide faster service on my next visits.

The one I look forward to most, would be a free pastry/bakery item. It's distributed various times of the year, but none more valid, than the birthday month of Rewards members Kitchen Sink Cookie- Milk & semi-sweet chocolate, caramel pieces, pretzels, topped with flake salt. At a whopping 100 grams of carbs, including 56 grams of sugar per cookie, the Kitchen Sink Cookie is quite literally "the kitchen sink" of cookies. Sometimes I'll veer off and order a pecan braid or chocolate croissant, but being how the Kitchen Sink Cookie is the most expensive, and arguably best tasting, I keep ordering that, suffering the caloric consequences, later. Service has been good. I usually order via kiosk, and the wait hasn't been substantial. Parking can be challenging during prime hours, with additional parking available at the closed Amazon Fresh. Kitchen Sink Cookie means more HIIT and reps at the gym. I look forward to my free birthday month pastry/bakery item, and hope they never alter it to "minimum purchase required".

Why did Panera have to close the Lakewood location instead of this one?!…read more Well, maybe I should voice my grievance somewhere else instead of here, but with the recent closure of the Lakewood cafe at the end of last month, I might have to make more visits to this cafe at Landmark Square whenever I have rewards to redeem. Last week, Panera was celebrating National Sandwich Month by offering $2 off a whole sandwich to rewards members. I was originally intent on getting a Bagel Stack, which is their cheapest sandwich at $7.99, but unfortunately, the Bagel Stacks were excluded from this promotion. Luckily, there was another sandwich that with the $2 off, would be even cheaper: Mediterranean Veggie. Actually, they have the Grilled Cheese Sandwich at the same price, but since I wanted more veggies for lunch, I went with the Mediterranean Veggie. As with all Panera orders I place online, I recommend adding extra vegetables and sauce to your order since they won't charge you more for doing so; you're allowed up to five. In my case, I requested extras of caramelized onions, arugula, romaine lettuce, and roasted corn to supplement the other vegetables in the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich; I also requested basil pesto spread. I also had a reward for a free bakery treat, and since Panera allows you to redeem multiple rewards and even a promo code all in the same order, I was able to strike two birds with one stone. Their most expensive bakery treat is the Kitchen Sink Cookie, normally priced at $5.29, so that's what I got. Knowing that Panera Bread likes to finish online orders well before the scheduled pickup time, I made it a point to actually wait until I parked my car in the parking lot to place my order. And good thing I did because literally just three minutes later, I got a notification that my order was ready! I was actually on the opposite corner of Landmark Square exploring the other businesses, so I raced back (not via hypotenuse, iykyk) and tried to find my order on the pickup shelves. Actually, I tried to find the pickup shelves, but turns out they kept my order in the kitchen behind the pickup counter, a stark contrast from the Lakewood cafe where they'd leave the bags on the pickup counter for anyone to take. I asked for a water cup, but they were on the side of the pickup counter where anyone could just grab one. After grabbing a cup and some water, I took my order to a table in the far corner of the cafe. I was pleased they stuffed my sandwich with virtually all the vegetables in their kitchen, and they also included the signature pickle spear that normally comes with every sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and quite good, though I did find it a little sour for my liking. However, the sticker that kept the wrapping in place around my Mediterranean Veggie sandwich wasn't actually labeled as such, so it's very possible that any two customers who ordered a sandwich could get each other's order. As for the Kitchen Sink Cookie, it made for a nice treat after a long day of volunteering, but I would not recommend finishing it all in one day unless you're sharing with a friend. That cookie is so thick and inundated with many a sugar that eating it whole at once may give you quite a sugar rush. I had kept the cookie in my car throughout the afternoon, and when I took it out of the bag, it softened up so much that it came close to breaking in half on its own. I was disappointed they didn't include a sticker to close the bag that held my Kitchen Sink Cookie, but the wrapping around the sandwich was held by a sticker. I simply reused the sticker from the sandwich for the cookie. With a sandwich, you get a side, which is typically one of French Baguette, Apple, or Chips. If I'm not getting a sandwich or a salad stuffer, the latter of which is a recent addition to Panera's menu, I usually get the French Baguette. Otherwise, I'd get an apple, like in this case. The $2 off a sandwich reward actually remained on my account after my order, implying that it could have been used more than once that week. The free bakery treat reward did not, understandably. One thing I do want to mention, if you're driving westbound on South St, make a left on Gridley before turning into Landmark Square because you're not allowed to make a left turn into the entryway by Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ. If you miss the left on Gridley, you may find yourself making multiple left turns since you can't U turn on Studebaker for whatever reason. Overall, a decent enough lunch that I'll give one additional star to the Cerritos Panera Bread. Also, they recently revamped their rewards program to be on a points system rather than by visit; this eliminates the advantage of getting credit for one visit after making a small purchase, which used to be my strategy to getting rewards while minimizing the amount I spend.

I've always interacted with friendly employees here but one stands out above the rest in my opinion and his name is Daniel. I know that when I place an order, when I come in and see Daniel, that it's going to be correct. I know there is going to be everything in the bag that I ordered; the sauces, the utensils, the napkins, everything! He is friendly, professional, courteous, and I definitely appreciate being able to interact with him when I come to pick up food to feed my family. The quality of the food here is always great, portions are what they should be and the one time I interacted with the manager, he was very friendly, professional and courteous too. If you want El Pollo Loco and you live anywhere near here, come to this one. It is worth driving a few extra miles. Oh, I forgot to mention that them place is brand new, clean inside, clean bathrooms and plenty of parking.

We usually come on a Friday at 11 AM right after gym so that means we're starving. And Lauren, our favorite server, doesn't disappoint. She is attentive, efficient, and proactive. You don't have to ask, she instinctively knows what you need and brings it to you. She is amazing! She's one of the top reasons why we always come back. My favorite order is the Lunch Pizza Duo - pepperoni, mushrooms and sausage pizza and Thai salad with dressing on the side. The pizza is warm, thin and crispy with right portions of pepperonis, mushrooms and sausages. The Thai salad has all fresh crunchy greens including thinly sliced Napa cabbage and edamames. The dressing is citrusy and sweet with a little kick. I love this combination. Staff is friendly esp Lauren, who serves us with a smile even when we become demanding seniors, sometimes. You know a caring server when you ask Lauren to take a group photo and she makes sure that everyone's face is seen and not blocked by another. She's a 10/10. The place is clean with tables wiped and servings set. Ambiance is bright, open, and quiet enough that a group of 8-10 seniors can carry on conversations and hear each other without screaming. The prices and portions are just right, esp the Lunch Duo menu. Needless to say, we're coming back here AGAIN for our next birthday group lunch.

The first time I had food from here was sometime back in 2012. I had never been inside the…read morerestaurant, but had family bring back pizza subs and garlic bread, both of which were SO yummy, even reheated the next day. The garlic bread was so flavorful and the pizza subs were stuffed. I'd had it several times since that first time and it never seemed to disappoint. Well fast forward to 2026 and something has changed. We had family in town, (the ones who introduced me to this place), and we decided to revisit an old favorite and made our way here. Maybe I should have been more worried when there was no one else in the restaurant besides the employees. We waited around 20-30 minutes for our food and no one else came in while we were there. I don't know what it was, but the food tasted nothing like I remember; both the pizza sub and garlic bread lacked major flavor and the bread seemed a bit hard. From what I can remember from the last time I had it, they've changed up the bread (which seems narrower now), the sauce (which seems like it packs less of a flavor punch) and the garlic seasoning (which seems a bit tame). The best thing we had from here was the fried zucchini. Everyone was so disappointed with the new flavors, that we had SO much of the garlic bread left and it only got eaten after I'd toasted, seasoned, and added cheese to it. Would I come back? Not sure. Maybe if I'm in the area, and craving some good fried zucchini, but to make a 30+ minute drive out here...I don't think so.
