I got an email for my birthday, giving me enough points for a regular sub. I came in today and had a big kahuna. The guy who was working the counter is really nice and friendly. It was no weight. The sandwich is huge and I'll be taking a lot of it home for later. I tried adding some cherry soda to my diet Pepsi and it came out really good. Give it a try you might like it too.

Hello, I had a very upsetting experience at this Jersey Mike's on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 3:38 PM, involving the general manager, Marissa. When I first walked in, a young lady with glasses was working the register (THE GENERAL MANAGER). A short time later, a homeless gentleman came in and asked a question about his order. As he began to pull out his money to pay, Marissa--who appeared to be the general manager-raised her voice at him and said, "That's not your sub, that's not your order." Her tone was loud, dismissive, and completely uncalled for. Even though he was initially just $0.80 short, he quickly substituted a larger bill to cover it. Despite her attitude, he remained respectful, calm, and didn't cause a scene--and what shocked me most is that he even tipped her after the transaction. That part truly upset me. Even after being treated poorly, he still showed her respect and appreciation. That speaks volumes about his character--and volumes about her lack of professionalism. Marissa continued to act annoyed, rolled her eyes, and bagged the food with visible frustration, making it clear she didn't want to serve him. It was demeaning and uncomfortable to witness. When I asked, "Who is the manager?" another young lady behind Marissa (not the one with glasses) laughed and said, "You're talking to her." I then asked to speak to the general manager, and Marissa responded, "I am the general manager." I requested the store number and a copy of my receipt so l could report this further, which I absolutely intend to do. As someone who used to be a general manager at Pizza Hut starting at 18 and held that position for over five years, I was appalled. This is not how you conduct business. Being a leader means setting the tone for customer service, professionalism, and human decency--and what I witnessed was Sadly, this isn't a one-time issue. Every time l've visited this location, Marissa has shown a pattern of rudeness and an aggressive attitude toward customers. Today just made it impossible to ignore any longer. As someone who currently works directly with the homeless population, I can't stay silent. Being unhoused does not mean someone deserves disrespect--especially not when they're a paying customer and even tipping for service. I strongly urge the store owner or corporate office to review the camera footage from October 12, 2025, at 3:38 PM. It will clearly show what happened. I will be going above and beyond to make sure this situation is addressed, because what happened was completely unacceptable.

I was just in there today for lunch. Ordered three sandwiches: a regular big kahuna, a regular #13, and a regular grilled pastrami Reuben. The Reuben had no 1000 island dressing and no cheese. I called from my office as soon as we unwrapped the sandwich. I can't get through via my cell or my office phone. Someone from this store reds to contact me ASAP. I understand this is a brand new store but the place is a zoo. Behind the counter was chaotic and confusing to say the least. Way too many people behind the counter with too many chef's in the kitchen. Nobody could hear one another. Speed should be a priority, but not the top priority! I love Jersey Mike's and I was happy to have a great sandwich place near by but....this was disappointing. read more

Reading the reviews on this restaurant there are many comments on a tall blonde woman with a ponytail with a tattoo on her wrist and we also had to unfortunately encounter her. As we were looking at the menu she was immediately rushing us to order. She was very short with us and plain rude to my dad who was trying to order as well as being rude to the worker there with her. He asked her a question and she yelled what? To him. I don't believe she should work here, there are multiple times she has done this according to the reviews and lucky I was there to witness how she treated my father. The staff here is so kind, helpful and energetic! I was greeted by all of them with warm smiles and they genuinely seem happy to work there. It was my first time so they gave me their recommendations and I ended up choosing the chicken cheese steak. It was delicious and jam packed with flavors. It was also a great size. Not sure why this location has so many negative reviews. This is my 4th time here and they've always been spot on. I've been to more sub shops across the country than I care to admit. As far as this location? Well it stacks up against them all. Jersey Mikes, Potbelly, and Jimmy John's are my go to's. I don't do Subway or Blimpie and I am a Customer Service professional, so I'd like to think of myself as qualified to assess subs and service. That's why I gave the Cerritos store such high marks. Don't get me wrong. The food was alright but as for their abilities to take orders correctly, horrible. Ordered a Philly Cheesesteak without peppers and the Big Kahuna Chicken Cheesesteak but they got both of them wrong. The Philly Cheesesteak had peppers and the Kahuna Chicken Cheesesteak didn't even have chicken! They ended up giving us two Philly Cheesesteaks instead. I love Jersey Mike's. I usually go to the location in BP but this was on the way home so we stopped by here. 2 of the 3 subs we ordered were great. The bad was the chipotle steak sub. I get this all the time & love the chipotle mayo. Unfortunately I dont think they added the mayo. I would've just ordered the philly steak. It was bland. Came here for the 1st time last night with my mom, sister and aunt. Wasn't sure what to expect from another sandwich shop. I was surprised how good they were. We all enjoyed them very much. We sat outside at a nearby ice cream place and Jose came over to us to see how our meal was. He also gave us coupons for a free drink and chips with our next sandwich. I didnt eat at ALL today until I received a Jersey Mikes philly cheesesteak sandwich. I opened the wrapper to find a hair in the sandwich at the knife cut.... pulled it out and it looks exactly like an untrimmed male pubic hair. It doesnt look like facial hair or head hair. I didnt take a single bite and will NEVER, EVER again to a place that still hazes customers. This isnt 1997. EDIT: I want to emphasize that I normally dont write reviews and am not one of those that gives bad reviews for trolling or as a joke. I didnt even have a Yelp account but created one due to how offended I am right now. The 1st time this happened the manager said he would make sure they would never run out of bread. Well, that didn't happen! The workers do not want to be there. They were not friendly at all and were just going through the motions. When I got my sandwich, I wanted to get a side of pickle chips and the lady just stared down at the lettuce, not making any eye contact with me. I usually enjoy the #9, turkey, roast beef & bacon sandwich Mike's Way, but today's sandwich was not very good. When I first arrived there were 2 people waiting to pay with no clerk at the register and a couple in front of me that had not ordered. We were told we'll be waited on in a minute but ended up standing around waiting for approximately 10 minutes. It was annoying but didn't mind that as much as when I got home with my sandwich it was missing several ingredients that I was asked if I wanted and I said yes but did not get. My turkey, roast beef w/bacon sandwich was missing the bacon, mayo and I asked for "the juice" on the side but did not get that at all. Without all the missing ingredients this sandwich was dry and flavorless. Don't know if I will solicit this location again. read more

Well we love Jersey Mikes however this location is less than stellar. The staff was nice and friendly every in the store but me. However the thing that bothered me the most. Is they put the produce falls off your sandwich back into the bin with all the fresh stuff!!! Really wished I went to the location in Buena Park on Orangthorp. Established in 1956.

It all started back in 1956 in the sea-side town of Point Pleasant, New Jersey and was originally known as Mike's Subs. The original owner, Mike, thrived off the seasonal tourist industry and a small population of year round residents. In 1975, Peter Cancro, only 17 years old at the time, purchased the business with the help of his high school football coach. When the company began franchising in 1987, Peter renamed the business Jersey Mike's Subs. Today, there are 1,500 Jersey Mike's locations open and in development nationwide.

Flavorful broth without being too salty, with lots of shredded chicken and spiral noodles. It came very hot with crackers on the side. Upgrading the combo with a drink and chips makes for a tasty meal. Prices are fair and worth supporting this local spot. Lunchtime is the busiest (as with many places), but I haven't waited too long to place an order and receive my food. They also offer delivery (with a minimum order) and catering. There is parking in the small lot in the front. There is also an entrance behind the little plaza, where you'll find more parking if the front lot is filled. I've dropped my rating from five to four because I've noticed my last few sandwiches have been skimpy on meat. Hopefully, they can fill the sandwiches a little more on future visits.
