Very tiny space for this location of the sandwich chain. 3 tables that seat four people and an unbelievably small counter that doesn't have enough space to eat comfortably. Two of the tables were full of seniors enjoying a late lunch and the third had been commandeered by some doofus who decided to make the entire table his personal office and had papers covering the entire table. I quickly decided to grab a sandwich to go. Staff were friendly and quick. I ordered a Cancro Special (roast beef, provolone and pepperoni) and took it back to the office to eat. Jersey Mike's has grown on me. When I first started going to the one in La Palma I wasn't as impressed as the rest of my family...but I am a believer now. I also like that I have been getting coupons like a BOGO or the last one I used was buy 2 subs and get the 3rd free...we bought 3 Giants and saved $14...even the lesser value coupon of getting $2 off a sub is a good deal. This helps since one of my biggest complaints was it seemed to be a bit overpriced. I joined their rewards program and I have earned a free sub on my next visit. Even when I pay full price here I have learned to justify it since the ingredients seem fresh and of higher quality as well as a bigger serving than their competitors. I have also found the sandwiches that we like best after some trial and error. We highly recommend the #13 Italian, #43 Chipotle Cheese Steak, and the #19 BBQ beef which isn't on the menu but you can still order it. Also, I like this location more than the one in La Palma not just because it is closer to my home but the staff is better here...esp. a young lady with short, dark hair who is outstanding...I wish I knew her name. *it is located in the booming area of Plaza 183 next to After Ice Cream and near some other new eateries so parking can be a bit difficult...I have luck finding parking on the side by the Indian place read more

I have a friend who likes to come here but I refuse to return to this place. Few months ago, an employee who was making a sandwich was also dealing with an online order. He asked me what sandwich I want, I told him, then he goes off doing online order, then repeats what sandwich I want. Then he goes off to get white bread and I asked him if it was "wheat." Very very bad experience! I couldn't even give a 1 star, but Yelp wants a rating. A feedback for sure I can provide. The closing male shift leader was very very rude! I was just there 2 hours ago & this male shift leader took my order. I ordered 2 Club Supreme sandwiches (it includes bacon), & as I always have done at all Jersey Mike's, I requested no turkey just double on the roast beef coz I don't eat turkey but I like the rest of the ingredients. This guy immediately denied my request saying - "No you can't have double roast beef." I said I've always requested it that way, & nobody has said anything nor denied my request. "Well they're doing it wrong," this guy said. So unhappily I said "Ok then just make it with the roast beef but no turkey." When the sandwich maker guy asked me the usual question, I said mayo, Mike's Way and pickles. "Please don't forget the bacon" I said. All of a sudden, this rude guy surprisingly spoke again (I wasn't talking to him, I was done with his rudeness, but I guess he's listening to what I say coz he's discriminating me, an Asian). "Oh no, it doesn't come with bacon!" And that really did it for me! "What do you mean it doesn't come with bacon?", I asked. At this point I was really mad now. So I pointed to the menu above. I said "I'm getting the Club Supreme without turkey. I even gave you back your turkey & you're not giving me the bacon, when the menu comes with bacon???" And he babbled something about #6, I said "I ordered #9, just roast beef no turkey, what are you talking about?" At this point he realized he was wrong but would NOT admit to it so he asked me to leave, that they're not going to serve me, etc...(his way of getting even I guess or self-redemption). She was busy juggling folks waiting for sandwiches from the grill, making two cold sandwiches, plus taking a new order. Throughout she was calm and graceful. But at one point she inadvertently pulled at her cap with both gloved hands. Immediately a customer asked her to change her gloves. She didn't demur, just responded, "Yes, of course," and proceeded to change them. No eye rolling. No attitude. Before walking in, I had no idea how nice and modern this location would be. Then again, I forgot that this location is new too. Point is, the inside is very nice and designed much differently compared to other Jersey Mikes that I have been to in the past. I ordered my usual Regular-sized #8 sub with wheat & Rachel helped take care of me as well as making some small talk with me. She was extremely nice, just as the cashier, Michelle was too. I'm a big fan of companies who do rewards programs like Jersey Mikes, because they really do make the customer happy in the long run if you're a frequent customer. Unfortunately for me, I don't come here very often because of the prices; realistically they're just not affordable for a college student. I understand though, that the quality is much much better than most places (including Subway), but it's hard for me to come often since their costs are high. I love the meats here. They're extremely fresh, and whenever I get my sub done "Mike's Way", my sandwiches taste even better. This was my first time dining at Jersey Mikes. I'm not sure what the size is of the other locations, but this one seems rather small. Not too much room to dine in. Glad I was taking mine to go. The price was a bit steep for a sandwich, chips, and a drink, but unfortunately I think this is becoming the normal. Which Wich is around the same price, if not more expensive. The staff was very friendly. It was nice to see all the cheeses and meats being cut to order. The Blackberry Lemonade was very good. I was able to get in get my sandwich and get out in under 10 minutes. The sandwich and ingredients all tasted fresh. If you're okay with the price, the sandwich was great. The assistant manager Marisa Mendez yelled at us and kept yelling at us like if she was under the influence. Then I told her to come down we are your customers. Then continued to yell at us and she said "Shit!" to us. I told the assistant manager Marisa and her 2 employees who were witnesses earlier tonight 7/14/23 approximately 7:30pm. I have never experienced a restaurant service like this. So this assistant manager when I asked her for her name refuse to give me her name. She wasn't wearing her name tag. I asked the rest of the crew members and they also refused to give me her name. We asked for the Corporate number and she also refused give us the number. The assistant manager yelled and pointed at us to get out! I wouldn't give a start, but in yelp you have to click on a star. Regardless, of our complain. This is a reflection of the business owner who will not do anything and allow to keep these employees working there. Whoever the owners are Jose or Larry. it seems they are only wanting the customers money and not caring for the customer experience. I love this place and I'm so happy we have one in Cerritos now! Parking is horrible at times, even though there's parking spaces everywhere. The meats are sliced fresh and bread is always made fresh, so you know that what you're getting is worth your money. It is a little pricer than other sub places, but once you bite into it, you'll see why. I used to eat at this location regularly, at least once per week. Then one day I ordered a sandwich on white bread and they told me they were out. They are a sandwich shop and they were out of one of the two only breads they carry. That's like a chicken place running out of chicken. I was so annoyed I didn't comeback for weeks, until today. Asked the guy "do you have white bread this time?" And he said "yes". So I ordered my sandwich, he walks away, comes back and says "I was wrong, we are out". I was really looking forward to trying their sandwiches for the first time, especially cause my boyfriend kept raving about how he really liked their chicken cheesesteak ranch sandwich. When we got there, the wait wasn't all the bad and the staff seemed really friendly. I got their provolone sandwich it tasted bland, dry, and the bread was harder than the French bread loaf I bought two days ago. The meat was cold and it tasted very bland. They open the door and let me in to order and you can see them ignoring and cleaning up. They're scheduled to close at 9pm and I arrived 10 minutes before closing time. First time I had the Original Italian. Definitely a tasty sandwich. Puts Subway to Shame in the meat and cheese department. Some bread choices, aside from wheat and white, would be good. Today I tried the Big Kahuna Cheesesteak. Totally yummy as long as you tell them Provolone cheese! Who puts American on a Philly? The meat was tender and tasty as were the peppers. We usually come here once in awhile, because it's close to my bank, Long Beach Credit Union, and since it's right next door, we like to eat sandwiches from here. Now I have to admit their sandwiches are okay, not like amazing, or anything like that. They only have a small selection of toppings, there's onion, lettuce, and tomato, and they put some pepper, salt, vinegar + oil, if you want to get your sub done "Mike's way". The first time I came here, I got the philly cheese steak (this was before I found out that I was lactose intolerant). And it was pretty good. I believe that if you get any of their hot subs you can't get your subs done Mike's way. The second time I came here, I got a regular italian (I think?) done Mike's way. It was okay, but it didn't blow my mind or anything like that. Last time we came here my brother decided instead of a regular, he wanted the giant, so he got that one and he ate all of it.
