My regular location for Jersey Mike's. Whenever I've ordered to-go from the app, the food is prepared very quickly - I even manage to get my sandwich a few minutes before the ETA the app gives. I've also always experienced excellent customer service whenever I've picked up or ordered in store. What I like about Jersey Mike's is that the amount of meat you get is very high - higher than most chain sub places. It's a very good bread:meat ratio - you get a lot of cold cuts on their subs. I won't go there again. The place reeks of some sort of bathroom sanitizer or something. After waiting several minutes for my sub when I leave the odor clings to my clothes and my hair. I can't imagine what horror they're trying to cover with that sanitizer. Food's good. It's Jersey Mike's. But that smell. They have to be aware of it. My first visit to this particular Jersey Mike's as a customer was a thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying culinary experience. Pros: As I walked into the store the staff greeted me like an old friend, tossing aside whatever closing chores were at hand and welcoming me with smiles and charisma. As I was somewhat unfamiliar with the menu, they walked me through their favorite personal choices and even revealed a few "secret" menu items. Did you know they have a BLT? After much deliberation I decided to be adventurous, opting to try out the #9 Club Supreme. The crew members were patient and understanding as I fumbled through my order, and offered remarkable, eloquent descriptions of the abundant toppings (the "salty, crunchy, refreshing" dill pickles, and the "tangy, spicy-sweet" cherry pepper relish with "a little bit of kick"). They even kindly addressed my naïveté of 'Mike's way', which prior to this evening I had incorrectly assumed to comprise only the 'oil and vinegar'. In fact, the eponymous topping recommendation is a well balanced array of veggies, juices and spices. I sure wish I could name them all for you! But nevertheless, the staff seems willing to do so with practiced ease. The man in front of me said he was ordering his sub "Bob's Way". LOL!!! I thought that was very clever. Upon checkout, I spotted a tower of gigantic chocolate chip cookies, piled one by one in a precarious stack that stretched far above my head. Unable to resist the temptation of such sugary abundance, I carefully removed the softest looking cookie, Jenga-style, as the remaining sweets teetered ominously. After biting into it later, I can assure you that this is one impulse buy you will not regret. Needless to say, I will happily return to this Jersey Mike's in the future. Unlike the staff at many restaurants, these employees appear to genuinely enjoy their jobs. And who can blame them - it seems like a pretty cool place to work. First of all- I have always come to this jersey mikes since it's close to my house and I have never been disappointed with the service or the food. It may be a little more expensive then other sub places but with good reason since it's made to order. This past time my sandwich was made by Michaela and she did a phenomenal job at building it. As far as chain sub shops go, this is one of my favorites. It opened recently and has maintained a very "new" feel in that it is clean and has three flat screen hd tvs. I tend to order the club sub and after going a few times they have learned how I like it. Although it can be a bit pricey, around $10 for a meal, I find it well worth it. Note that this Jersey Mike's location is several miles from Franklin St and the UNC campus. It is definitely not within walking distance for UNC students. read more

Second time at a Jersey Mike's (first time at another location). This conveniently located location was the first time I was actually had an opportunity to sit down and enjoy a meal while on my tour of the south (for a wedding, needed something quick!). This particular location had the best cheese steak south of the Mason Dixon. Period. Maybe the top 3 I've had in Boston (call it steak and cheese there) NY or Philadelphia included. Maybe it's because the staff was so friendly and attentive. Or maybe it's because they made the sandwich with a surgeons precision. Could definitely taste the TLC in every bite. Other sandwiches I saw coming out also had my mouth watering. Shout out to the staff here for making my stopover in Chapel Hill unexpectedly delicious. Always friendly service here; combined with the great Jersey Mike's menu that's a winning combination. This location is very community conscious and sometimes does fundraisers where a % of the day's sales goes to the chosen charity. Our office often orders catering for onsite meetings and the food is always great and the attention to detail the same. We recently placed a very large lunch order for pickup and they did a seriously awesome job. Brendan took the phone order and was very patient and polite. The order was filled promptly, correctly, and they even labeled each item with the corresponding person's name. That's a nice touch not all establishments will take the time for. If you're heading here at lunch sometimes the line can be a little long (the sign of a good eatery) but they do a good job moving orders through. One easy alternative is calling your order in ahead of time for pickup. To sum up, it's a great place with good food and service that cares about the local community.
