We recently visited Pacific Kosher Restaurant and overall had a very nice experience. The place is kosher, very clean, and the space is large and comfortable which makes it a great spot to sit down and enjoy a relaxed meal. The restaurant feels open and welcoming, and the atmosphere is calm which is something I personally appreciate when going out to eat. The service was good and the staff were polite and friendly. They checked on us and made sure everything was fine during the meal. For the food, I ordered the salmon fillet with risotto and fries and it was honestly excellent. The salmon was cooked really well, flavorful, and the portion was generous. The risotto paired very nicely with it and the fries were crispy and fresh. My wife ordered the Greek toast and she really enjoyed it as well. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The only issue we experienced was the waiting time for the food. We waited a little over 20 minutes for our dishes to arrive. It was not only us either. We could hear another customer sitting across from us who was also mentioning the waiting time and seemed a bit frustrated about it. Aside from the wait, everything else about the place was very good. The food was tasty, the restaurant is clean and spacious, and the overall experience was positive. That is the only reason I am giving four stars instead of five. With a slightly faster kitchen time this place could easily be a five star spot. read more

The food was really tasty, fresh, and high-quality, and you can tell there's attention to detail in every dish. The place itself is nice, and the prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the quality. A big plus is that the food is kosher, which adds a lot of comfort and peace of mind. Yeah, the kids like it a lot. It's one of the better oily pizzas that are kosher. You could probably use the oil afterwards to make some schnitzel unfortunately, it's dairy so you cannot really use it but the amount of oil they put for each pie you probably can use for something else. As much as I hate to write a negative review for a kosher establishment,this establishment is disgraceful. Ordered breakfast for 20 people delivered to my synagogue for my father's memorial. Requested the food for 7:30am as this is the time that the service ends. From 7:30-8:15am I've called the restaurant several times panicked as people started to leave the synagogue to work only to be told that the delivery driver is on his way. 45 minutes later when all the guest left already the driver shows up and despite seeing me so distressed he's lecturing me with attitude. To make things worse repeated requests to have the owner call me were ignored. After a week or so I contacted the owner directly. She apologized that she was overseas when it happened and promised to check was the cause of the screw up and get back to me. A month a half later I'm still waiting for her explanation. Mmmm! Came here for the first time, for brunch, with my mom. I ordered the Shakshuka, my mom ordered the Israeli Breakfast. The portions were huge - we probably could have split one item. A friend and I met up in NoHo to workout. Afterwards, we walked about 3 miles and we started getting "hangry." She had been to Pacific Kosher before and recommended that we eat there. We arrived and were politely greeted by the two women at the register who took our order (one was training). After perusing the menu, I decided on the Tunisian Sandwich (because it said spicy, of course) and my friend got a wrap. Both of these came with a small side of Israeli salad. In addition, we ordered the Triple Fries Appetizer. I gotta say, the Fries really came out on top of this meal. They're quite impressive and come in three flavors: parmesan, sweet potato and seasoned. I basically ate the fries instead of my meal. My Tunisian Sandwich was all bread, with a smear of tuna and I think a slice of green olive. It did come with a fresh Israeli salad on the side which I did enjoy. My friend's wrap was okay, but she ended up mostly eating the fries as well. I forgot to take a pic of the sandwiches because we were so hungry by the time we got there that we just dug in. The meal was meh, but what got me was the price. It came out to $65 for two mediocre sandwiches and some fantastic fries. That's a bit steep. The ambiance was quiet (we went after the lunch crowd), and the restaurant is clean. Here's the deal, if you have dietary restrictions (like my friend), this restaurant may be a good option for you in the area. But if you don't, then the price may be a bit jarring for what you get. This is my new spot for lunch with my sister and mom! It's such a great spot in the heart of Valley Village. I even ordered the pizza for my kids and they loved it. My first 1 star review. Great pizza, atrocious owner. We recently ordered $230 worth of pizzas for an 88-year old grandma's birthday. For years, we've made similarly large orders at Pac Kosher. This time, they made a small error by adding garlic and onion (guest with significant food allergies) to a small individual pizza - no big deal at all. When we politely called and explained the issue and that we were sending our son to head over to pick up a replacement is when it got crazy. The owner had an employee call back saying that we got the order wrong and it was our fault. Weird experience over a few $ item. After waiting at the store for 45 minutes, my son was finally told that they never started a replacement because they were waiting on the owner to make a final decision of what to do. Crazy. An owner micromanages staff for a few dollars?? I really didn't care if I had to pay twice. Needless to say that the owner's behavior resulted in our family and the families at the event to swear off ever ordering from them again. Good job, Ms. Boss. Make your stand on a few dollars (on your own error) and lose thousands of $ in business per year with us alone. read more
