    Philly cheese steak giant size
    Jon M.

I have been to many JMs and have ranked them best sub chain in the USA. This one in El Segundo is very conveniently located on Sepulveda just south of LAX and literally next to one of my favorite Starbucks. I ordered a giant Philly cheese steak and it was enough for 2 meals. It was delicious Mike's Way. Service is on point and fast. I also bought lays chips and a brownie for a $27 total. Highly recommended.

The most terrible least amount of lettuce w/ veggies ever made by poor experienced staff. Tasted only bread. Big disappointment.

I've been eating Jersey Mikes for many years and always cheering and recommending people I know and strangers to the Jersey Mike subs over Subways. Telling everyone that Jersey Mikes is definitely quality and gives more. But up until today, Jersey Mike has been very unpleasant to me. I've been coming here for my usual giant veggies with several chips to go with my sandwiches for the past months or so and today in the early evening of a little pass 5pm or so on Wednesday February 26, 2025 was a disappointment. Usually the guys make my sandwiches for me and give me fair amounts of veggies. Today was a huge disappointment, not only do the staff like to talk into the food (my sandwich) to other customers or to me, I can't stand anyone talking in my food especially while making my food. I don't do that to people and expect the same back. The other huge disappointment is they were so low on green bell peppers today to none that they didn't even know they were low and not order more ahead of time which they should've prior checked their inventory. What kind of management is that? As the girl staff was making my sandwich, no offense to her but I tell it as it is, she put the least amount of lettuce and veggies that all I could taste was the bread. I've never had a Jersey Mike sub that was this bad. All the other branches I go to in Gardena, Torrance, etc, all give me good amounts of veggies that I can actually taste the whole sub not just the bread. The girl staff made my sandwich like she was either stingy or fearful or just don't know how to make a sub in general. Put that girl in better training of making a sub better. I've become a regular here and today, I was hungry and wasted my $30 plus money just to taste only the bread itself and not enough veggies. I want a refund or compensation. I had paid for the giant veggie sub, 4 chips, and a box of cookies. I just want refund/compensation to the next time I'm there again (not to my address to mail anything to me because I don't give my address to anyone especially when I don't know you) on the giant sub with tax total because the sub was so unpleasant to eat. Every bite was a huge disappointment.

I walked in and immediately noticed how clean the store was, absolutely impressed. I then ordered a Philly cheese sandwich and enjoyed EVERY bight!!! The staff was great and even made some suggestion as to the particular bread that is their favorite. I will definitely be back!

Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon Parking: walked here but they share a lot with Ralph's so you shouldn't have issues. Wait: afternoon rush few people ahead of me. Not too busy. Food: 2.5/5 got an Italian on white. I learned that they do not toast the bread. Never had Jersey mikes before so sorry for my ignorance. Meats were thinly sliced but not heavily packed. Each bite had like a 80% bread to meat ratio which.. not great. Service: 2/5 they had 3 guys manning the sandwich prep area and one guy paying people out. For some reason 2 of the guys just disappeared from the prep stations. So one guy cut all the bread for everyone in line but no one made the rest. Had to wait around for seemingly nothing. Environment: 3/5 store was clean. People were spaced. What you would expect from a chain sub shop. Overall, getting charged $10 for a sandwich half the size of subways seems high. Likely not a return for me.

I ordered the #7 Turkey and Provolone Cheese sub with a Pepsi...I had it The Jersey Mike's way minus the lettuce adding mayo & pickles... Whoever made my sub it was quite delicious...Thank you!!!...

Ambiance: small and packed fast food chain, convenient location to the grocery store and cafe shop Service: very rude and impatient, the cashier was not friendly at all Food: standard menu items The Big Kahuna Cheese Steak Sub - ** grilled onions & peppers, plus mushrooms, jalapenos, and extra cheese, super salty and burnt meat Chips - ** they ran out of certain flavors for days and didn't fill the rack on time Price: decent prices for subs, regular is about $9 and giant size costs $15

Ok soooo I'm a little upset. This is more about the service than the food. You all know what Jersey Mike's tastes like. I'm upset because I wanted to grab a sandwich before work. I placed my order at 2:32 got a text that the order was ready. Finished sending a couple texts went in at 3:04 and guess what... They hadn't even started my order. Now I'm annoyed. You mean to tell me, they wouldn't have even started it if I hadn't went in??? I said all that to say. I know that was probably a hiccup but now I won't have time to eat my food. Oh and it was packaged so SLOPPY. PIC attached. Kinda petty but come on guys.

My first time trying this place. Always heard that they have really good sandwiches well, I am pleased I tell you. The shop is conveniently located in the big shopping center and it has its own little parking space and for right now it's not crowded. We walked in to a bright friendly shop. Employees were polite and pleasant, wrote down our orders, which were freshly cut and prepared right in front of us. And it was delicious It took a very short time for our orders to be prepared. Bread was soft and not soggy, meats and cheese perfectly melted, onions and bell peppers deliciously grilled. Well, my expectations for hot sandwich were met, and I would definitely order from here again

Just started a new job in the area and was excited to find JM directly across the street! The energy in there was cool, loved the staff and their taste in music! ;) Seems like it was an all lady crew when I went in this past Friday around noon! But they were handling business from walk-ins to phone orders! My sandwich was fire too. The bread was fresh and they made my sandwich with pride. I appreciate that because I'm big on presentation. And don't like when people throw my food together. I will definitely be back, but it'll have to be through Postmates. It gets really busy in that area. Other than that keep up the great work!!

My order: * The Farm Club: You really can't go wrong with this one. The pickled red onions and herb aioli give it such a nice tang compared to a standard club sandwich. The turkey was high-quality and the bread held up perfectly. * Spicy Curried Couscous: I had to grab a side of their signature couscous, and it didn't disappoint. It has that signature roasted cauliflower and just the right amount of spice to balance out the sandwich. It's easily one of the best sides on their menu. The highlight of this visit was definitely sitting outside (inside is ok, a bit noisy and crowded). The patio area is clean, spacious, and perfect for catching some sun while you eat but most tables are shaded by umbrellas. Even though it's right off PCH, it's a great spot to relax and enjoy the El Segundo breeze. A couple Tips: * Parking: The plaza can get a little tight during the peak lunch hour, so give yourself a few extra minutes or try to arrive just before the 12:00 PM rush. * Ordering: If you're in a hurry, their mobile pickup is always super seamless at this location and can help you get in and out or you can take your food and eat in the park like courtyard area. I'll definitely be back next time I'm craving a solid sandwich and some fresh air!

Sit right back and you'll hear a tale - a tale of a fateful fish! Follow along…read more.. Not much of a seafood fan, I was originally introduced to this fast-casual restaurant location about 15 years ago - agreeing to meet a friend for a meal there because she said they had chicken options. Thankfully, she was a generous person who let me try a bite of her Swai, and I was sold, coming back and bringing my family for meals on the regular. Sadly, as a regular, we noticed the service to be consistently inconsistent - unfriendly staff, uneven delivery of orders from the kitchen to the table (once, my whole family finished their meals before my Swai wrap made it out of the kitchen!) and not-so-clean spaces. We gave them a few chances, but eventually, removed this spot from our rotation. When the Culver City location - which is actually closer - opened, they had a different menu and it seemed our favorite items were no longer on it. So we really didn't visit there, either. And then came 2020, and as we all know, the industry has changed significantly. So... while bouncing around a last minute "let's get dinner, but the rotation feels old," I said to the fam "Let's check the menu and give Fish Grill another try!" And glad we did. The most recent menu updates have fresh and zesty items that also hit as being similar to old favorites. And though Culver City is still closer, we decided to return to El Segundo. Off the top, you could tell the space was clean and actively being kept up with sweeping and table clearing. Two very large screens replace human ordering, though there was a human helper to answer questions, and a backup human cashier to help to expedite the growing line. Brought mom, who 15 years and a lot of technology after first introduction to this location, is 79 and was not comfortable with screen ordering, but knowing a human could help if she comes back without her tech team is helpful. The human also came in handy to answer questions about the menu that were not obvious to answer (what ingredients need to be deleted from the honey citrus bowls so that they are not "spicy"? That would be the Ponzu)... tech aside, ordering was easy. The kitchen was fully staffed on this Friday evening and working hard to keep orders together. We had enough time to get settled at a table and fill our fountain beverages, and our name was called. Yes - you now pick your order up from the counter. But - at least our entire order was ready to go together! The plating of each entree was higher level than most fast casual spots. This was definitely not your sterile Panera white! Bro ordered the Triple Shrimp plate, and really enjoyed the different textures of the shrimp prepared. Mom ordered the fried Swai tacos. Though she enjoyed it, she did comment that there seemed to be more batter than fish in many of her bites. I ordered the Honey Citrus Shrimp and LOVED it! Of course, without the ponzu, it was sweet, and tangy. The shrimp was fried before it was completely coated. I ordered with slightly healthier brown rice and avocado. It was a chef's kiss meal to me. We also ordered a side of garlic toast. Actually, I'm not sure that I would call it toast as it was grilled but soft. It was covered in Parmesan. Though very good, I would have liked it to be more toasty. Very noticeably, the team was generous with requests for extra sauces - you must try the Tartar and Garlic sauces! And a nice touch was that the Raspberry Iced Tea had apparently run out, and when the new brew was in place, the manager walked around to each table to let them know there was fresh tea available if they were interested. The team was busy hustling, but took the time to be friendly. This was the experience that should have been years ago! So, at the moment I'm leaving 3 stars for all these positive points. I'm reserving the last 2 stars to come back and see if this is the new consistency, or if this really delightful visit just happened to be a fluke. And though I do eat a little more seafood now than I was willing to 15 years ago, I actually can't wait to try the Chicken version of the Honey Citrus bowl I enjoyed - and who knows, maybe I'll boldly try it with the (spicy) ponzu!
