Let me tell you about subs. They're not hoagies, grinders, or any other variation. They're subs. And, if you're looking for the quintesential Jersey sub, Jersey Mike's is the place to get it. This was the 1st out-of-state Jersey Mike's I've been to, & the only real difference was that they offered Sweet Tea as a drink choice. However, this was North Carolina, and to be fair, you can get Sweet Tea everywhere, as well as throughout the entire South. But, onto the food... If I went in blindfolded & ordered a sub, besides the Sweet Tea & Southern accents, I wouldn't have known I wasn't in Jersey. And, that's the point, & also proves consistent quality in a chain restaurant. Of course, they have a fairly wide variety of sandwich choices, & you can even get your favorite sub ingredients without the bread, in a bowl. But, I digress. About the food... The bread is baked fresh daily, which makes a difference. The meats are high-quality, brand-name deli meats, & the vegetables are also high quality & fresh. The oil & vinegar is classic Jersey style, which is more like Italian style, because there's a lot of Italians in Jersey. Fugettaboutit. The prices are reasonable, & the places are clean. Service has always been friendly, & the food's good, so, what more do you need? So, if you're driving around Jersey, & you're in the mood for a sub, stop in. And, if you're not in Jersey, well, that's your problem. But, wherever you are, grab a Jersey Mike's sub. You won't be disappointed. #Fugettaboutit read more

The quality of food is good, but the restaurant appears disorganized. This was the second time that I used the app to place an order for pick-up at this location, only to have to wait in a slow moving line before being able to notify a worker that I was simply there for a pick-up. This is not the case for any other Jersey Mike's that I have visited (in Fayetteville, Raleigh, Durham, Charlotte or out of state). It definitely defeats the purpose of placing and paying for an order in advance. A simple solution to achieve the desired quick pick-up, would be to do what the other Jersey Mike's locations do....place a pick-up sign in an area designated for customers who have already ordered and paid for their food items. This restaurant is conveniently located between my office and home, however it might be worth going out of my way to patronize another, more organized location. read more

First I'll start off by saying I love Jersey Mike's. This review is only talking about this specific location. When my family and I walked in, the first thing we heard from one of the employees was, "Oh hell no!". My wife and I are an interracial couple in our 30's. Instead of assuming the worst, we thought maybe they were referring to something else - it was apparent that they were not. They did not greet us with a "Hello" or "Welcome to Jersey Mike's". They just looked at us. No other customers were waiting so we were at the front of the line and we just stood there. After about 2 minutes, we asked one of the employees if we could place our order and she said "You can wait". My wife and I decided to leave so we collected our kids from the table they were sitting at and began to walk out. Right before we did, we asked for the manager and he came over very uninterested and stopping for every reason before he got to us. We explained what happen and his only response was, "She told you to wait right?" When we asked what his name was, he said, "I'm not giving it to you". When we asked for the store managers name, he said, "I'm not giving you that either". This store is obviously very racist and run by ignorant bigots. I go to Jersey mikes at least two times a week and I will never visit this location again. Very disorganize. Ordered a number 13 at 502 pm and left at 531 with no sandwich! It takes them entirely too long to put meat and cheese on bread. Instead of the young lady helping out because the orders were obviously backed she stood at the register counting tips and talking about dog pictures with a customer. After being there for 20 minutes 3 people places there orders after I did and left with their food before me. After waiting another 10 minutes and seeing them make another 2 sandwiches that were ordered after mine I told them i didn't even want the food anymore read more

This place is like a Subway, but way better because they use freshly sliced deli meats, which explains the atmosphere that looks and smells like a deli. On first visit, it's a little bit intimidating, but just come into the place and pick any sandwich. I went with the philly cheesesteak sandwich, which was better than expected. My order was not correct it was missing for items that I requested when I spoke to the manager or owner not sure which one she is but I see her there all the time been going here for a few years when I brought it to their attention they show me that he wrote it down right but that's not the sandwich I was holding in my hand I did not have time to wait for them to remake the sandwich I wanted wheat they gave me white bread I wanted lettuce tomato mayonnaise and honey mustard none of those were on the sandwich no compensation was offered there are other Jersey Mike's in the area I will not return to this one poor customer service read more

I ate at Jersey Mikes a couple times when we first moved here and thought it was decent, but over priced. I'd put it on par with Subway. The last time I went to this place was the last time I will ever go. We had some obnoxious punkass sandwhich jockey who made several wise ass comments to myself and other customers. When I asked "you dont happen to have slaw do you" he replied "no, we put meat on our sandwhichs here". I was taken back that he had the audacity to make such a comment that all I could do is tell him to keep the sandwhichs and walked out. I will never set foot back in a Jersey Mikes shop, there are just far too many sandwhich shops in this town to take that kind of crap from an employee. read more

Being from New Jersey, this is an average sub. In NJ, we had great Italian delis with fresh bread and awesome Italian meats. The sandwiches are fresh and consistent. Some of the newer sub places where your food is "warmed" sometimes will burn your bread. Nothing worse than burned bread, man. I come here every other week to eat. The staff is friendly. The only drawback is when you are behind a customer ordering multiple subs for their co-workers and trying to decipher what condiments go on which sub. Then they have to pay for each sub separately. I can't hold that against the shop though. read more

I just went to the Jersey Mikes on Boone Trail. They got a new building and now my combo went up like $3.00. That is ridiculous and over the suggested Jersey Mikes prices. Each owner can charge what they want but they are advised to use the suggested prices that Jersey Mikes Corp recommends. Well they are $3.00 over and $12.00 for a turkey sub combo is outrageous. They had a sign up that stated the line starts here so that's where we stood and the lady got an attitude saying that we were standing in the wrong spot. Me and another lady said that is where the sign states for us to stand and she just mumbled under her breath. They should have kept their old place because these new people and their prices are horrible! read more
