I was looking for a sandwich spot that was open early so I can buy my son a sandwich for his lunch. I know, I didn't prepare haha. But so glad I found this Deli close by. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The workers are very nice and the establishment is very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got my son a Jr Size Turkey Swiss sandwich. They were able to customize it. I saw them make it and it looks very good. I love that they have hidden Christian things around. For that, I will be coming back when I'm in the area.

Solid local deli. Very popular for the lunch crowd. Easy parking and lots of tables. I got the pastrami and the egg salad to go. They were pleasant, fast and efficient. The middle rating is really based on the food. These are basic, unseasoned (for the general public), deli classics.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice local deli that was clean n cordial.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Pastrami Sandwich (11") plus cup of Cream of Chicken soup totaled $25. including tax. I suggest eating it immediately to enjoy the hot, flavor, & juiciness of the Pastrami. It's not like NYC kosher Delis but it's the only place to get a good Pastrami "fix" around Fair Oaks/Orangevale.

The service was great! The staff was kind and the wait time was fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is similar to any classic deli, which is cool to see in Fair Oaks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the #2 which is a salami, capicolla, mortadella, and provolone sandwich on a french roll & a fresh brewed iced tea to go with it. The food was good, though it could have used some more flavor; a suggestion I see in a lot of these reviews. HOWEVER there is an option to add sauces/condiments so if you're worried about the flavor-- just add stuff!! It is a little pricey, but the size was decent. I will be here again, and will definitely try out some of their extra toppings.

I have been wanting to try Rim's Deli for YEARS, and finally got the chance this week. Rim's Deli was one of my last stops before leaving Sacramento. I ordered the junior size pastrami sandwich with everything, with swiss instead of havarti, with added cucumbers and peppercinis. The sandwich was amazing, even though I thought the price was a tad high for the portion size. The lady who took my order was helpful and sweet. For some reason, I didn't see the normal hot pastrami sandwich on the menu, even though she said it was one of their most popular orders. I had asked her if I could just get a hot pastrami without it being a reuben. The sandwich came on a sweet French roll, with premium hot pastrami, swiss cheese, and of course, all of the fresh vegetables that I had requested. My only regret is not adding bacon, because I think that would have been bomb. I ordered the junior size, but, as soon as I left, wished I had ordered the large. I'm sure it would have been a better value, and I definitely could have eaten leftovers of this the next day. Since I've heard great things about Rim's Deli from so many people over so many years, I had high expectations for them, and they were met.

I finally made my way here to try their pastrami sandwich. It did not disappoint, the best pastrami in the Sacramento area. I had a junior size, with mayo, lettuce, tomato, pastrami and provolone. The pastrami was spot on, price was decent, $13 for a 8 inch, $18 for 11 inch. Service was good, it has a small business vibe, because it is. I may try the burger here at some point. I was worried that this place was going to be too far away from I-50, but it wasn't.

Wow. Probably the best sandwich I have had in the Sacramento area. Rim's is a staple. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were packed on a Wednesday afternoon at noon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the junior pastrami sandwich, and I added bacon, cucumber and pepperoncini, which were all great. The sandwich was full of meat and veggies and every bite was juicy. I really really enjoyed this. Also, I think I paid around $15, which for prices nowadays is fantastic for a sandwich that kept me satiated for half the day.

Good sandwiches but extremely over priced. You're better off driving down the road to Good Eats Deli. Better sandwiches for better price.

YUM!! Finally made it here for date night and so worth it!…read moreThe staff was quick to seat us and take our orders. The waiter was super friendly and gave great suggestions. We both got the Tantan and of course added the extra FREE noodles. We added garlic oil and corn. The spice level was perfect, and all of the Ingredients were fresh. One thing I noticed was how flavorful the chashu was. Usually in my experience it's a bit gamey, but not this one. We also had the spicy Karaage, it was not overly spicy, super flavorful, and very juicy large chunks! The little salad that came with the karaage was also very delicious. We had plenty left over for lunch the next day. Can't wait to return!

We started with a couple of soups, and despite the hot weather outside, they were flavorful, comforting, and thoroughly enjoyable. The soup-less ramen was another standout. It was far more filling than I expected, packed with flavor, and I loved that they offered extra noodles at no additional charge--a thoughtful touch that definitely adds value to the meal. The service was attentive and informative from start to finish. Since we were dining with a larger party of six, our server proactively let us know that gratuity would automatically be included before we even placed our order. I appreciated the transparency, as it eliminated any surprises when the bill arrived. Overall, this spot delivered delicious food, good service, and a smooth dining experience. I would happily return the next time I'm craving a satisfying bowl of ramen.

My daughter struck again…read more My daughter flew into town from Texas and she wanted to hit up another Korean restaurant and she found SeoulZip on Yelp-so we headed out there. Driving from Natomas it was a bit of a drive but I'm always down to try a new spot when she is in town. The parking situation at this restaurant was pretty nice-they share a big lot with many businesses,so parking was ample. We walked in towards the end of the night, like around 830pm,only a few people in there, but it was late. They have a pretty decent-sized restaurant with lots of tables,so I would feel comfortable going there with limited wait time most days. We sat down and they have a pretty decent sized menu with lots of options, but I was pretty sure I knew what we wanted. We went with Soft Tofu Soup($19.99). We also went with two orders of Dolsot Bibimbap ($20.99) Lastly we went with an order of their YangYum Chicken Wings($25.99) They provided us with complimentary Banchan as well-almost everything they provided was standard and they were yummy-I'd say the three of us ate about 90% of it-so good. The food came out pretty fast starting with the chicken wings. Overall the wings were pretty tasty and juicy but just a tad sweet for my taste. I tend to prefer my food on the spicier side. The soup came out next and it was sizzling. I really enjoyed the awesome flavor of the broth, very tasty and would order this again without hesitation. Now my son and I both got the Bibimbap and we both came to the same conclusions. -Aesthetic-perfect-almost didn't want to eat it. -Temperature-so hot with crunchy vegetables -loving it -Ingredients-perfect mixture of rice, meat, vegetables and egg -Taste-every bite was better than the last one and had me looking forward to the next bite. Easily my favorite Bibimbap I've had so far. Overall I would say I had a wonderful visit with my son and daughter and was so very happy that my daughter visiting me from Texas got me to add another great restaurant to my Sacramento resume. Just in case anyone is on the fence-traditional Korean cuisine is absolutely spectacular and I recommend that everyone should try it-it's so much more diverse than just Korean BBQ.

Seoulzip is located in a big shopping center and is a good-sized restaurants. Portions were generous and overall food was excellent with just one hiccup. The BBQ Chicken came on a sizzling platter, but initially about 20% of the chicken was undercooked and had pinkness. They took it back and re-cooked it to 109% doneness. Bulgolgi is our son's favorite and he ate most of it. The meat was sliced thicker than most other places but flavors were otherwise good and I like the level of sauce. Its easy to go overboard on sauce. The free banchan was excellent. as was their pork seafood tofu soup (mild spiciness). Wife felt it was one of the better Soondubus she's had.

I didn't read or listen carefully enough that the skirt steak with sauteed onions and bell peppers are covered in Spanish sauce. The sauce is actually quite tasty with a little kick. I used it and the salsa to flavor the black beans. However, I really just wanted grilled steak. I should have ordered steak fajitas, a grilled steak burrito or quesadilla, or a carne asada plate. The Steak a la Chicana was a generous portion, which is definitely 2 meals for me. Cilantro rice wasn't anything special. The SWEET CORN TAMALITO is yummy comfort. Choice of beans: refried beans, black beans, or pinto beans. I suspect refried beans is the tastiest option. El Tapatio would be a great gathering place for friends and family.
