Very traditional deli sandwich, but in the best possible way. The meat was well-sliced, fresh and didn't taste processed, same goes for the cheese. I had to repeat my order four times to the lady because she was arguing with another co worker and couldn't remember my order. I paid and checked my food and the order was still wrong. The next option is an $11 giant size which looked to be about 13 inches long. ok, I've eaten here many more times and am upping my rating to a 4. The sandwiches really are delicious!! But the price is a little high and the parking lot still sucks. I know that's not their fault, but it's definitely something that comes into consideration when I'm trying to pick a lunch spot. I love JM. We frequently eat from here. I called in order. They said it would be ready in 15. Arrived in 15 and waited 30 more minutes. Everyone was really nice, but no one acknowledged me for at least 15 min. I said excuse me several times until I was able finally able to ask someone about my order. They hadn't even started my 4 sandwiches. They helped many in line before I got any service in the separate pick up line for phone orders. I was kind and patient, but just wanted to let management know. For a chain, this is the best sandwich around. It will make you think twice about going to subway ever again. I can pretty much eat this every day. I always get a giant number 9 with half swiss and half provolone, no mayo. The service is awesome, there may be line (usually is) but you are always greeted with a smile. Came in for a sub for the first time today and it was made with a smile and quickly. Taste wise, a no brainer. So yummy. Try the original italian, it's a got a little of everything italian, and oh so good. Their sizes come in Mini (about 4 inches long), regular (7 inches) and Giant (15 inches long)! I got the 15 inch giant sub so that I could eat a quarter of it now and have plenty left over for dinner for the kids and hubby. I think I'll be coming here a lot more often! So over at Jimmy John's it is against company policy to give a customer the oil and vinegar on the side...like in a little plastic cup! No, not extra oil and vinegar, just what I was already getting but in an effort to avoid eating wet soggy bread once my sandwich and I made it home I requested it on the side. REQUEST DENIED!!! These guys are quick, and friendly. Subs are above and beyond any other sub shop. Wally remembers us weekly knows our sandwiches, as a manager I think he's doing a great job to keep the lines short the subs quick and keeping us customers happy. I came in today and the staff was so rude. One of the employees was sweeping and she walked past me and hit me with the dust pan and didn't apologize. My sub was made with a hard dry bread. I had to ask the guy to put more bacon and he seemed annoyed by it. All the Jersey Mikes back home are so friendly walking in to this location was a horrible experience. Super delicious subs! I recommend getting it 'Mikes Way'. The Italian Sub is my favorite. It gets real busy in this area during lunchtime, so if you're short on time and just hoping to pick up and go, you can call in your order! With all the construction on Rosecrans, it will save you the aggravation of waiting in traffic just to get here then waiting in line to order. There is ALWAYS a line in this tiny little shop. I love the food but this location has some issues. One time I got cold soup, the next they made a beef philly when I asked for chicken, and this time my sandwich got given to someone else. Basically ended up waiting 30 mins by the time another got made. Not good when I came after a long day of work and was extremely hungry.
