Went here numerous times while on a job in the area. This was my first time eating at Jersey Mile's, since I normally only see Subway when we are looking for food. This place just happened to be conveniently in between Home Depot and our work site. I only got a few different subs here, but they were all good. Turkey and Provolone. Ham and Provolone. Roast Beef and Provolone. Had them all Mike's way. They do seem to be a bit too generous with the olive oil for my taste, so I asked for light oil. The Oil and Vinegar does pair nicely with all of these sandwiches. The freshly sliced meats and cheeses aren't any thing special, but is definitely fun to watch. The provolone is much better then that other place, as to which I never get their cheese. Staff is friendly enough, but the music was too loud for me(must be getting old). Quick and easy. My family and I have been coming to Mike's for years! But this is the second time I come here and have an issue. 1st problem we did an online order, arrived at the time it said. Went inside and waited 22 min for my order!!! Really?! Why say a time and then take 22 min?!?! Others were complaining as well. One guy was waiting 30 min! 2nd problem we went inside to order. We asked for 2 regulars. They charged me for regulars but gave me mini's. We asked them if they were mini's? They said "No"! When I asked again they were rude. As low man on the totem pole to pick up sandwiches for a lunch meeting at work, I had to pick a spot to impress my customers, my boss, etc. Pressure's on. Well, I've gotta say, these sandwiches held up well over a few hours sitting on a conference room table. Ten people easily scarfed down a box (24) pieces of turkey with provolone and supersub. Tip - be sure to ask for the oil and vinegar on the side to keep the bread fresh, they provide them in nice squeeze bottles instead of packets. With some serious urging from my Yelp pals, I finally tried Jersey Mike's Subs. I admit that not only do I have a bias against franchise sub shops, but I -- like most Americans -- also have a natural, almost instinctive bias against all things from New Jersey. It's not like I expected to drive up and find a bunch of Jersey street pharmacists with mullets sitting in camaros and listening to Bon Jovi or anything ... but barely. The busy sub shop was actually full of customers that sounded and looked just like normal people instead of clueless, classless, and unsophisticated orange idiots with big hair and over-sized sunglasses. Guess, I'll try a sub. It didn't take long for me to choose from the simple menu: a Giant Chipotle Cheese Steak. This sub's got Grilled Onions, Peppers, Chipotle Mayo, Provolone Cheese, and a whopping 1900 calories. How was it? Simply amazing. The warm, cheesy, meaty sandwich on a White Roll was seriously tasty and addictive. I didn't plan to eat the whole thing in one sitting, but after my first couple bites, the only thing getting up was my cholesterol. I guess it's a Jersey thing. If you're like me, you crave a good Philly cheese steak about once a week. The problem is that we live in California, where it's impossible to get one as good as those you'd find in Philadelphia. So what do we do, we compromise our integrity and morals, stoop to new depths of festering hunger, and eat something improperly dubbed as a "Philly" cheese steak. This is the first ever Jersey Mike's I have been too and I keep coming back. It is very close to my work and Costco. The parking lot is shared by a lot of other businesses. The staff is very efficient, one person starts your order by preparing the bread and slicing the meats and cheese. The next person puts the toppings on and cuts and packages up your sandwich and the cashier charges you. My favorite is the Original Italian sub. They slice Provolone, ham, prosciuttini and cappacuolo on white bread. They do have a wheat option if that is your cup of tea. I ordered the giant size so I can eat half for lunch and the other half for dinner. If you do this I would recommend not getting it Mike's Way (with all the vinegar and oils) because the sandwich will be soggy by dinner time. read more

Jersey Mike's is a subs chain store...and in regards to the subs i tried the "italian" i believe it's #13 on the menu. They have 3 sizes...small is too small...so i went for the regular which is like 8" a good size to fill you up. The italian sub was pretty good, i got everything on it, and its very flavorful and the bread is pretty good. If your from the Philly/South Jersey area, its close to WaWa hoagies. Overall, I'm a fan of Jersey Mike's, it tastes better than subway, you will have to pay alittle more...a drink, chips, and sub will cost you around $9-10 bucks. This is the worst Jersey Mike's I've ever ordered from. We try to give them a second and third chance but will not be ordering from here ever again . From messing up orders, to not having our online order ready until 10 minutes after the order says it's ready. I watched all the workers complete orders for orders that weren't due until 15 minutes later l, and put my sandwiches at the end of the line instead of expediting them to be competed ASAP. The simple sign (red lettering on white background) and name intrigued me. On the inside, it is a pretty standard fast food sandwich shop. But there are a few small touches here and there. Deli meats are sliced to order. The hot subs (like the Philly cheese steak) are also cooked to order (and not just reheated in the microwave like some fast food places). Also, there are a few throwback items on the menu (I can't remember the last time I saw a chef salad at a restaurant). I had a hard time deciding on what to get because there were a lot of sandwiches that sounded good. I went with the Jersey's Shore Favorite (cold sandwich with provolone, ham, and cappacuolo). They add onions, lettuce, tomato, and way too much vinaigrette. The first thing I noticed was the price. The regular sandwich is over $7 and the large sandwich is over $10. That's a little pricey for a ham sandwich. They also have a mini at $5, but it looked way too small. They actually stuff the sandwich with a lot of meat so maybe the mini would have been big enough. The sandwich wasn't bad, but I was disappointed by the ham. It didn't have much flavor to it. At their prices, I will keep looking around for a better deli style sandwich. Maybe I should have tried one of their hot sandwiches. There is a flat screen television that shows whatever sporting event is underway. Service was good and friendly. Birthday Month 2012! Free Regular Jersey Mike Sub + Fountain Drink for joining their E-Club. I've seen a few Jersey Mike's here & there but have never actually stepped into one. Yay for birthday offer so I can finally try it! I have to say, the menu itself is a bit overwhelming for a first-timer so a little bit of research online ahead of time would've cut down on all the immediate choice making. We showed up during lunch time (Friday around 1pm) & this place was totally poppin'! We had to table stalk for seats & got really lucky finding parking quick in this crowded parking lot. I tried the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak w/chicken (sans cheese & jalapenos) & the type of bread they used was really really good. Nice and soft. I believe bf tried the Chipotle Cheese Steak & that was delicious as well. Ordering a hot sub got us through the line quicker (somebody went around & took our orders while in line & then we paid), but the recommendation for a 1st timer is to try their cold subs. Birthday discount: Free any cold/hot regular sub & 22 oz. fountain drink, valid ONLY on the day of your birthday. So plan accordingly! Must also show photo ID. I went here for (what I thought would be) a quick bite. It took forever because I got a grill item. The guy comes around and takes grill orders while the cold sandwich folks are in line. I thought this would speed things up... NO. They need a better system. I ordered a Chicken Caesar Wrap on a sun dried tomato tortilla. When I got back to the office, I had a spinach wrap. So all that slowness wasn't so they could actually be accurate. The wrap was slapped together. There was no parmesan cheese on it (which adds lots of flavor). Their main competition is going to be Togos or maybe Earl of Sandwich as far as price and quality goes, but they easily surpass them in taste and value. When made right - Jersey Mike's is one of the two best fast casual dining spots in America (along with Blaze Pizza). And that comes from a 39 year commercial real estate broker who's done lots of restaurant transactions, and I'm also a former managing partner of a highly rated restaurant. Normally this is a 4-5 star place but I literally had no in more than one bit of my sandwich. Their bread is kinda tasty but i prefer sabdwish to toast. The service was lacking... as i sit here i currently have 6 staff members chatting not necessarily about work. While the few people behind the counter bust there behinds hopping. However it make the service slow. I feel sorry for the people ACTUALLY WORKING! Ummm i hate that so down from 3-2.
