Great food, great service. Everyone working behind the counter was really friendly and often joking with the customers. Each sandwich is made fresh and offered on your choice of white or whole wheat roll. I ordered the #6, Roast Beef & Cheese. They make the roast beef in the shop and it was very tasty. They slice it fresh when you order, just like the cheese. They offer a variety of toppings to put on top. There's very little seating inside and two small tables outside. read more

I'm really surprised this place didn't live up to the hype. It was ok...not stellar by any stretch of the imagination. I guess I've been spoiled by Jimmy Johns, but I was not impressed by the quality, taste, or price. It was nice, however, that the meats and cheeses were sliced fresh and the staff was friendly and fast. If you're looking for anything light and healthy, look elsewhere. Even just a turkey wrap is over 500 calories. They do get points for listing all the nutritional info on their website, though. Overall, I probably wouldn't go back unless I wanted to splurge on real philly cheesesteak, but at that point I'd hit up Philly's Best instead. The cheesesteak at Philly's Best is about 100 calories more than at Jersey Mike's, but once you're already splurging, it's totally worth it. read more

Pretty good sandwiches. Not spectacular but nothing to complain about and they get extra credit for having an easy, usable online ordering system that is actually faster and easier than calling or just ordering at the counter. The online menu covers all the condiments, I can get everything the way I want it, I can even get extra meat, and then I just walk in the door, say my name and I'm out. read more

I absolutely love Philly Cheesesteaks and Jersey Mike's has one of my favorites (in California). Obviously it can't be as good as what you get in Philly. Every time I go in the people are always very nice, good service and good food. My only thing is sometimes it is inconsistent. Sometimes my sandwich is perfect and other times the meat or cheese seems a bit on the low side. However, I am a dedicated customer because more often than not, the sandwich hits the spot :) read more

Had the original italian. The cuts of meat are good, bread is decent. They cut the roll all the way through which I'm not used to, and their seasoned olive oil seemed a little heavy on the seasoning. Also there was a TON of vinegar on my sandwich - and I like vinegar! i'm talking soggy bread amounts of vinegar. But I enjoyed the sandwich, and I'm sure I'll be back for more. read more

Hands down the best Jersey Mike's I've been too. You gotta go with the #13 Mike's way with jalapeños. I usually go during work lunches, and the crew (lead by the guy with long blonde hair) here knows how to handle their business. I live in South Jersey and California. The irony doesn't escape me that Mike's sandwiches are better than Jersey sandwiches. Yes it's possible you have a preference for whatever reason but these sandwiches are huge and fresh and tasty and embarrass the majority of sandwiches I've eaten in either state. read more

Not impressed at all. Not many toppings to choose from, bread was hard and the price was very pricey for what it is. 27.00 for 3 sandwiches, really? Never again, ever, I'll stick with Subway, they have fresh bread, lots of toppings for sandwiches and can get 3 footlongs for 22 bucks. read more

Was very excited to try Jersey Mike's. Great sandwiches! We made it just in time for lunch because as we ordered our sandwiches, the line went out the door. All the meat and cheese is sliced fresh. The bread is delicious. I can't wait to go back and try the roast beef and also the chicken parm sandwich. Not only is the food great, but the customer service is good too. I love this place and I frequent there about once a week or so. Although today I noticed the bread size was different than before. I noticed the Giant was much longer and skinnier. I order my normal regular size and noticed it was also skinnier than before, thus making the sandwich smaller. I'm a huge fan of this place, but this just chaps my arse! While I was really excited to try some jersey sub sandwiches, I feel this place wasn't all that it was made out to be. Yes, they take their time making the sandwiches. No, the time does not reflect the quality. I felt the sandwich was dry overall. The meat seemed a bit old and the white bread didn't help either. It kinda felt like I was chewing cardboard. To give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe I'm not too familiar with jersey style subs. Still, I think I will opt for another restaurant before coming here again. read more

Everytime I visit this store in the WalMart center, it turns out to be a negative experience. From not answering phones for togo orders, to getting smart ass (bordering discrimination) male workers, to eventually getting food poisoning/sick from the hot Big Kahuna sandwiches, I'm thoroughly perplexed at why people patronize this store. My preference is now to drive further to the Jersey Mikes location (The Square - 17917 MacArthur Blvd) or (The Bluffs - 1318 Bison Ave, Newport Beach, CA 92660). Ive honestly never had a problem with those 2 outlets, only the Von Karman location. read more

Jersey Mike's has quite a following on the east coast, so I've been looking forward to sampling their wares ever since they began their Cali expansion. This is one of those cases of knowing what a region is known for. The Northeast knows how to do a deli sandwich, and this is the fast food personification thereof. In my trips to New York, the everyday food highlights were the splendid sandwiches that seemingly teemed from every random mom-and-pop convenience in the city. This kind of effortless greatness with sandwich-making just doesn't happen in California. Yes, I've found lots of excellent sandwich shops in the Bay Area and SoCal, but they don't really follow the east coast template of soft breads, Italian spices, simple oil and vinegar adornment, freshly thin sliced Boar's Head cold cuts, and NO SPROUTS. I'm not saying that all east coast sandwiches are superior, only that there are times that I want a bona fide east coast style sandwich and nothing else. Happy to say that Jersey Mike's is true to its east coast roots. This is a very good sandwich. The freshly sliced meat and mix of spices and very simple toppings is exactly what you'd find throughout NYC. The sandwiches I sampled are uncomplicated with everything in the right balance. The Jersey Mike's sandwiches are somewhat comparable to Blimpie, another east coast chain that attempted a west coast expansion a few years ago. Blimpie ultimately couldn't compete with the more established Subway, and most of their west coast stores closed. But, from my initial impression, it seems that Jersey Mike's does a better job at differentiating itself from Subway. The only faults that keep Jersey Mike's from five-star territory are 1) their cold cuts are decent, but not as good as Boar's Head cuts; and 2) these sandwiches are a bit expensive. A regular roast beef sandwich cost $8, and with the drink and chips, we're talking about a $10 sandwich meal. With Subway turning the $5 sandwich deal into a permanently implanted bit of jingled memory pain, Jersey Mike's needs to watch out for pricing itself out of the market. Granted, these sandwiches are a clear cut above what other chains like Subway and Quizno's serve up. read more

I love their Kid's Meals. Though the size portion is that for a "child" it's usually good enough for an adult as well, who wants to save some bucks and isn't really that hungry. The kids meal comes with a small soda and a brownie. The brownie was delicious, reminded me of Little Debbie ones... The sub sandwhiches were ok. I got the salami and vinegar one.
