Customer service was good. Ingredients are fresh, I liked how they slice meats and cheese to order. Bread is okay. It's a solid sub shop. I guess I gave them a 3 star because I like jimmy johns sandwiches a lot better, they have more flavor and the bread is a lot softer. The woman making my lunch moves to the cash register and pushes the guy doing it out of position. Then he is lost. Eventually he puts on gloves and asks me the same questions that she did. At this point I have been there 10 minutes and he starts making sandwiches for the three very pretty girls behind me. All I wanted was my sandwich finished. At this point my coworkers who were in line in front of me had already gone back to the car. Bottom line: Don't go when it is lunch time or whenever you have to get anywhere. RAW MEAT DANGER and really disappointing follow up customer service from a young woman with dirty blonde hair in a top messy bun working the closing shift on Feb 6 2021 (might have been the supervisor?). There was a large section of red raw meat in my fiancé's cheesesteak. This was the second time they had made my fiancé's cheesesteak tonight because the first time they made it with peppers & onions, which we specifically asked to not have on the sandwich. This was a serious issue because it is due to a food allergy, not a flavor preference. They remade the sandwich but must have rushed it because as soon as my fiancé took a bite he noticed the raw meat. I took a big chunk of the red, raw beef and carried it to the blonde woman to notify her and ask her if it was indeed raw meat, and she said "uhhh yeah..." and then said she would remake it again (for a third time) and was clearly annoyed. After first the food allergy issue and then the raw meat issue we were very uncomfortable with the lack of health safety & food handling practices this place demonstrated and did not feel comfortable with a remake. I had raw meat on my hands and had no way to wrap up my club sandwich safely so I threw it away with the raw cheesesteak since as soon as I touched my club sandwich it became contaminated with any potential food borne pathogens in the raw beef from my hands. I have previously worked for 6 years in food borne pathogen management in industrial settings but all it takes is one basic food handlers course to learn about cross contamination, which I'm sure these employees have taken. We asked them to not remake the Philly cheesesteak for the third time and that we would just like a refund for our meal since we had to throw our food away and would like to get food elsewhere since we felt uncomfortable with the food they were serving us. The blonde woman refunded us...for only the raw meat cheesesteak. We then said we would like a refund for our whole meal please. The blonde woman defiantly responded, "well was there something wrong with your other sandwich?" in a defensive tone like we were unreasonable for wanting a full refund for our meal which was definitely not the meal we had paid for. Customer service is a valuable thing in every industry, and we felt like it was very poor form to not just refund us for the whole meal after they had messed up our order twice with two separate health and safety concerns. I explained to her that I had raw meat on my hands from examining my fiancé's sandwich and then had to touch my sandwich. But even without taking cross contamination into account, they first made our food in a way that could have made my fiancé have an allergic reaction in their store, and then the remade it in a way that could have given him food poisoning...why not just be decent and let us refund our inexpensive meal and go get dinner elsewhere? Is she really expecting me to take my one sandwich to eat by myself while we drive around trying to find my fiancé another place to eat? Why fudge your business for $10 after you made huge food safety mistakes - twice! Just take ownership for the dud and call it a day. But why do I even have to stand there and defend myself against their serious mistakes that made us feel uncomfortable with their food? I don't think it's a stretch to say our meal was ruined. She gave the refund but didn't say anything to us and didn't make eye contact. Womp womp Jersey Mike's. read more

Overall pretty good. I got the tuna "mike's way" which means onion, lettuce, tomato, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend, salt and pepper" It tasted pretty good except for the onion & vinegar blend which made it too acidic and left my tongue a bit sore. The vinegar and olive oil that was dumped on made my bread soggy which was gross. And it cost about $8 for the sandwich which I think is a little much. Jersey Mike's is always bomb - I'm openly addicted to it and can't recommend it enough. This location is pretty darn good. Most of the staff are great. They're very efficient, and give excellent customer service. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because there's one woman who's messed up my toppings the last 3 times she touched my sandwich. I only get 4 things on there - how can you not remember them? Oh well. This location is still really good and I'll absolutely be coming back - I'm just going to micromanage my toppings. read more

My crew worked a Saturday for me, so I got them all lunch. This was an order for about 30 people. I was able to print out menus, hand them out to the team and let them choose. I took those and used them to order online - their website was a breeze to use, and even took some of the more unusual requests some of the team had. Picked it up on time and they had the whole thing ready for me! Super friendly. Everyone's order was spot on - and they labeled each persons sandwich for me so we all knew whos was whos! Who would've thought you could find a real Jersey tastin' cheesesteak in Kent, WA? I'm not one for "Franchise chain restaurants" I will only go to Subway if its 24hours and 2am. Jersey Mikes is located in the very very far end back side of the Staples parking lot off of East Valley Highway in Kent, theres a baja Fresh next door- another place I am RELIGIOUSLY addicted to, but Mike has stolen my heart (at least part time) Even tho its tucked away amongst tons of other restraunts, Delis, one could choose from, this one is busier then all of them during lunch hours on most days(just to give you an idea of how good they are). Everyone who works there is very nice, friendly, and busy. They are very excited and enthusiastic about the sandwich their about to make you-Heck they oughta be, Im excited too! A friend of mine told me Jersey Mikes was better then my ATF M.S.M. Deli in tac town(NOT QUITE in my opinion) then again I only do Italian at M.S.M. and there is no way I am getting unstuck from the Philly cheesesteak at Mikes, I don't think I can bring myself to order anything else but their cheesesteak! One of the best I've ever had. The cheese is unique and very delicious, almost like a rich cheese sauce. They use great quality meats, that they slice there in the store. The sub is loaded with steak and peppers, and the nice employees don't wink an eye when a gal like me comes in and wants to add every other veggie in the book to it, they are happy to do so, as Ive never felt I was annoying them (like many places that tend to be totally annoyed when you want to add, hold or leave to the side) The employees here are very cool....and I shall keep getting my weekly fix! read more

This place really wants to make a sub the way you like it. They really pile things on the sandwich. The bread and ingredients are really fresh 9/10 times I have been there. I think it is important to review a place only after you have been there several times throughout the week in order to provide a more clear and complete picture for everyone else. With that said, if you're a fan of subs and you're tired or subway or quiznos or jimmy johns, this is the place for you. I think hands down in the sub sandwich catagory, Jersey mike's has the best in town. Why aren't there as many Jersey Mike's as Subway's or Quizno's? There's no comparison between these chains, Jersey Mike's is the only one that gets anywhere close in making those great East Coast deli sandwiches. From the bread to the meats to the overall flavor, this is about as authentic as it gets for 3,000 miles away. They also don't just put barely any meat on their sandwiches like Subway has for years, and the bread doesn't crumple in half when you hold it. You can literally get full off a medium deli sandwich for dinner at this place. Only downside is when it's real busy I haven't seen most places using both meat cutters at the same time, just 1. But if they could, or figure out another way to speed up the lines, Subway and Quizno's would go out of business right away. Most of these also have TV's in the restaurant as well, a big addition compared to anywhere else. read more

I went here last night with my boyfriend and unfortunately had a nasty encounter with one of their workers. We arrived just a little before 8pm became I was craving subs. Let me add that this isn't my first here. I've been here a handful of time because their subs are one of my favorites! When my boyfriend and I first entered we weren't exactly sure what to get so we were staring at the menu for a few minutes. It was pretty late and we were the only customers there that night. Finally, after careful consideration we decided to order what we normally do (I got the Italian sub and my boyfriend got the philly). We immediately got a negative vibe from one of the workers there (there were 2) prior to ordering. It seemed like she was annoyed that we didn't know what we immediately wanted and felt as if she was standing there for no reason? Okay not a big deal. She's probably tired and it's getting pretty late anyway. We tell her what we want to order and she quietly asked me what kind of bread I wanted. I had a difficult time hearing her and responded with, "Sorry, what was that?" She repeats her question in the most rudest and condescending way ever and it almost even sounded like she was yelling. My boyfriend and I were shocked! We've received terrible service before (from other places) but never had anyone speak to us in that same tone or way. And honestly, being the deaf person that I am (I'm not actually deaf but you know what I mean), I still didn't hear her. I didn't even bother asking her to repeat herself a second time in fear that she was just going to respond back that same way. All I heard the second time was "Parmesan" and I responded back with "yes, Parmesan", still not aware that she was asking about the type of bread I wanted (thought she asked me if I wanted Parmesan cheese or something haha). To add, I tend to over analyze sometimes and think that people are being rude over the smallest reasons and then my boyfriend will remind me that I'm overthinking it. Which is usually the case. However, this visit was different. Like I said, my boyfriend noticed the same rude behavior as well. She makes our sandwiches and my boyfriend notices that I'm pretty frustrated over what just happened. He tries to calm me down (I promise you I'm a pretty level headed person) but I'm arguing about how it was disrespectful for her to speak to us that way. And I don't mean this as a customer, but as a human being!!! I was courteous and respectful prior to ordering AND even after. As much as I wanted to say something, I didn't. After our subs were finished I paid for our food and even tipped her. I have a bad habit of tipping when I receive poor service primarily because I've worked in customer service before and I know how stressful it can be. Like I said, we were extremely kind from beginning to end. We did not deserve that kind of attitude. Luckily, the receipt gave me her name. "Elizabet," it read. Not sure if the "h" is supposed to be missing but that's what the receipt stated. As soon as she took care of our order she disappeared into the back somewhere. At the beginning of this review I mentioned there were two workers. The second worker was extremely nice and stayed out while we were still hanging in the restaurant, in case we needed anything else. She was very polite the entire time. I asked her if the name on the receipt was hers or the other girl's and she confirmed that it was not hers. I told her about the rude behavior and she was really sympathetic about it. I wish I got her name because she is what customer service should really be about. This review would have been 1 star (0 if it were possible) but the second worker was awesome. Also, their subs are still the best! I was really hesitant to write this review because I do come here a decent amount of times and I do try to avoid awkwardness. But the experience my boyfriend and I had needed to be shared. read more

# 13 all the way. ALL THE WAY. My wonderful hubby introduced me to this place. The large subs are the most ginormous delicious sandwiches I've had in my life. The #13 is an italian style sub with 4-5 types of meats, provolone cheese, and all the toppings you want. I love that they are incredibly generous with their condiments. I hate stingy places (think, subway), so I appreciated it when they heaped on the lettuce, thick juicy tomato slices, pepperocini, pickled jalapeno slices, red vinegar, olive oil, pepper, mayo and seasoned salt. I drool just thinking about it. I think they go for about $11.95 for the jumbo sub, which easily feeds two people (or one very hungry man). I just wish this place wasn't out in the boonies! Every time we go it's pretty empty, but I assume it's cuz we avoid the rush. read more

Why I have watited this long to write a review about my FAVORITE sandwich place in town, is a damn mystery to me. This is by far my favorite sandwich place around. I will say that I only get the #13 Italian, but I can bet the rest of the menu is just as amazing. The quality of the food makes you feel like your at a deli in New York. They cut it with a huge meat cutter and they make the meat super thin, but they also pack it on your sandwich nice and thick. I'm from a small town in CA originally and had heard of the JM's there, but never got the chance to try it. I work down the street from the Kent location and my boyfriend decided to take me here for lunch one day. I've been back a few times since, haha. I get the Italian/Mike's way everytime in the smallest size sandwich (I do wish they had a bit of an even smaller sandwich size though, I can't ever finish this one and I hate taking sandwiches as leftovers). They also sometimes take a long time to make an order and it sucks with my having only a 30 min. lunch. The prices are a teeny bit high, but it's a lot of food you get for the money. Anywho, the people are nice here, sometimes they do get a bit sidetracked making an order, but for the most part, they offer up great food and service. If you're tired of Subway, definitely come by this place. read more

Went into this location after seeing it on the Travel Channel's Sandwich Paradise. Tried the Cheesesteak a couple of times which was very tasty but after trying the #9, there are no other options!! I get it with everything on it (except Jalapenos) and there is nothing better. Sometimes I think Quizno's is not that bad but I always end up disappointed and wanting to go to Jersey Mike's instead. The staff is usually pretty good. They do get busy at lunch but planning accordingly takes care of that. Sometimes their tables are a little dirty but this place is so great, I don't care! i came by for lunch today, and boy there were some new workers or so and it took me 45mins to get my hot sandwich. there was a gentleman there not sure if he was the manager, but i felt bad for him cuz he seems to be doing everything helping he cashier, person making hot subs, and also checking up on everyone's order. I don't think you can go wrong here. Every sub I've ordered have been great. But one sub I love here is the Big Kahuna! Its a philly cheese steak with green bell peppers and jalepenos! I went last night, and I must say that I was disappointed. First, the good. The counter people were very courteous and patient, making subs just the way the kids wanted them. The service was fast and friendly. But when my sandwich (the Philly Cheese Steak) arrived, the positive part of the visit was over. I have to quote that famous ad line and say "Where's the beef?" Clearly these guys don't understand the concept of a phone order. Twice I have called in an order to pick it up and both times I arrive and they look at me surprised that I actually showed up for the order. The first time I will give a pass but the second time? I stand there waiting while they make my order which should have been ready when I arrive. My lunch break is a half hour so I call my order in for a reason. The meatball sub I ordered would have been really good except the guy that made it got tomato sauce all over it when he rolled it up on the foil so it was covered in sauce. read more
