I like Jersey Mike's subs but I found this location was not the best. I didn't have an issue with the service. They greeted me when I walked in and they were friendly. Compared to other locations I've been to, this location falls short mainly with the following: 1) The way the sub was created was on the sloppy side. My ingredients were falling out from all angles, the lettuce was very wet and I ended up with a soggy mess. 2) I noticed that the countertops were not very clean when making the sandwiches. There were bits and pieces of food and sauce remnants laying around the prep area. Other locations I've been to, the countertops were always clean. If I had to choose for this area, I would definitely prefer to go to the Covington location. read more

Visited store for lunch. Stood in front of counter for around 10 minutes. Not one of the 3 members greeted me when I came in or acknowledged my presence the whole time. This is pretty much standard customer service! I do not mind waiting at all especially since I saw they were busy but it does not take much effort to tell me they will be with me in a bit. It felt like my order would have broken their backs and was hoping I left so so I did. This is my first time visiting a Jersey Mike's. It will be my last. read more

The quality of the store has fallen off so far it is not worth going back to again. When it first opened a few years ago The sandwich was well worth the money. They now slice their meats so thin that you can see through it. They do put the same number of slices on the sandwich (I think), but the weight of the total sandwich is much less than in the past. Of course, the price has gone up and up. As if this is not bad enough the workers (there today)could not get a job at Goodwill. They are of very poor customer service quality. Today they did not even use gloves as they filled my order. What a shame to see this happen to a place that started out A#1 This place is no longer worth the extra money you will pay. I just came from the Lake Meridian Jersey Mike's. I ordered a ROAST BEEF SANDWICH. The person behind the country made something on the grill. I told her no, I ordered a ROAST BEEF SANDWICH. She then went back behind the counter and made me something else on the grill. It was NOT the ROAST BEEF SANDWICH I had ordered TWICE. So I gave up, paid for the sandwich I HAD NOT ORDERED, and asked if I could have a bag. The person behind the counter than gave me an attitude because I did not say "please." It had taken me a half hour to get a wrong order TWICE. I blew up at her, threw the sandwich back on the counter, and started to leave. She was yelling at me by this point, and I blew up and demanded to speak to the manager. She claimed to be the manager. One of the other people working behind the counter intervened, and apologized. He refunded my money and offered to make the sandwich I had originally ordered, but by then I was too frustrated to accept his offer. I stormed out, and will NEVER patronize that shop again...!?!?! read more

I love this location better than any other JM store. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Any time we order online, it's ready BEFORE we get there. Today's star was the lady at the register. The food was delicious and we recommend a large tip! read more

Great customer service! I had ordered 2 catering boxes then realized I needed 1 more box the day of my event. I called and they let me add another box to my order even though you need 24 hr notice for catering boxes. I did get a call to let me know that they had run out of bread for my order about 30 mins prior to my scheduled pick up time but since they took my late order I understood. I mentioned that I would have to have someone different pick up my order for me with the later time and without being asked, they offered to deliver the boxes to me right after they were completed making the additional sandwiches. They really went above and beyond. read more

They tried to charge me $19 for my sub. It's not on the menu. But it's basic. Chicken breast from the wrap on white bread with lettuce and mayo. They actually have it on the menu at the Covington location. Owner there is real friendly. So I tell the guy at the register it's normally like $12..he proceeds to argue with me. I'm like my man it's 2 chicken breast and some bread and your trying to charge me $20 bucks. Last time I got it they made a Philly cheesesteak right before it and inevitably my sand which tasted like a philly as well. Seems like a management thing. Everyone there makes their sandwiches differently. Owner should be more hands on when employing younger kids. Def not there fault. read more

I walked in and the workers barley said hello. Then when I proceeded to ask for the bread I want they said "were all out but here's this one" ( a stale crusty slice of white bread) the worker did not talk to me while making my sandwich at all, did not make it the right way after I repeated myself clearly three times. And after all that I went to sit down and every single table was dirty, floors were sticky and the counter top by the soda was covered in trash and very sticky and lets not forget to mention the bathroom it was disgusting! Then every worker disappeared people came in and no one was there to greet them. All I can end with is this place has terrible customer service/ skills and does not know how to keep the place clean. read more

So happy to finally get to try this place! Friends have been talking about jersey Mikes for a while now and this great location just opened up across the street from my work. Have been here about five or six times now each experience better then the last. Friendly environment matching the staff, always greated with a welcome and on occasion a thanks for coming in! My first time... food tasted pretty predictable for a sub shop, loved the crusty bread! I was quite surprised to see that for every sandwich, the meat was sliced fresh!,, they use meat that is said to be free of antibiotics(yay!). However, or should I say HOWEVER, the workers did not know their products! I was called up to the counter to, I think, be asked what I wanted on my sandwich, but she said 'is this yours?(pointing to a non-de script sandwich) I looked at it and stated that I had ordered a club sub, and she said again, is this yours? I then realized she was wanting me to tell what I wanted on my sandwich... so I told her I wanted all the different kinds of vegetables! She looked blankly at me as if I had spoken a foreign language, and so I repeated, I would like all the vegetables! Again the blank look! So I replied, I'll take everything! (She seemed to understand that!). In the mean time, my hot sandwich was delivered to me, all wrapped and bagged, so as he handed it to me, I asked if it had all the vegetables on it, oh yes, he said, it's got chicken and bacon, ranch and cheese! (Humph!). I took the sandwich wondering if I should do the unthinkable ( open my sandwich and inspect for quality and ingredients). While pondering, the young man returned and confirmed that I wanted lettuce and all.. I told him I'd like everything... he took my sandwich to the hot area, I wasn't sure what I'd have on it when it returned. The sub was now ready, wrapped and bagged! I left... when I got home, my hot sandwich had a tiny bit of grated ice burg lettuce and thin sliced tomatoes. My club too, had lettuce and tomatoes... no onion, pickles, or anything else! The operations of meat slicing, I am pretty sure would not be up to health code, and too-- the one slicing the meats caught each piece of meat as it came off the slicer! Oiy!!!! Unsafe practice and procedure! Three stars... food was good, but a lot of bread!, not enough stuffings... service was slow, messy, and workers didn't know their product or how they were to be served! read more

Really quick and great service! I went in with a big work order the other day and Justin made sure the sandwiches were done in a quick and timely manner. They tasted great too, as always. I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a good sandwich in the Kent/ Covington area! read more

New location much closer to me so that is a good thing. I usually go to the one on the Valley. I've been there a few times since it opened so little by little it seems to be improving. First time, I had to tell the guy to get new gloves because he was taking my order then he was touching money and then was about to go back to making my sandwich....oh helloo??? did we not read that money is probably the dirtiest item you can touch!? I don't recall the other store being like that, they were much more organized so I figured maybe they are still working out their kinks. Most of the time it's been decent. standard sandwich and the crew were usually pleasant and time from order to walking out the door is also fairly decent. I do have to comment on this last trip that did someone write a memo to reduce the amount of deli meat? I usually get the turkey provolone. the turkey is already sliced thin which is fine but he put 3 tiny thin pieces of turkey on a regular for me. I was like where's the turkey? the provolone was decent and then about 2 huge handful of lettuce got piled on! oh also got 2-3 thin slices of tomato. When I went home to look at my sandwich (wish I took a pic) it was mostly lettuce with a tiiiiiiiny sliver of meat so I paid $7 for lettuce and bread??? disappointed...I have to go to the Valley store to compare. Will I come back? maybe...i'm looking for a balance of meats with condiments and bread otherwise it's not a good sandwich for me. I wonder if all the sandwich shops are talking, went to Jimmy Johns recently and the roast beef sandwich was also mostly lettuce and mayo...wt????? but that's another review. so for this store, yes it's ok but could be waaaaay better....and if there is a better choice even in another Jersey Mike's store, I will go there... read more

I am so happy they opened one closer to my house happy and sad because I will probably frequent this place too much. Its great to get a sandwich and watch them cut the meat right in front of you. I have always enjoyed the philly's here is pretty good compared to other places. Not saying its all authentic but it gets the job done when i have a craving. read more
