The prices are reasonable, the ingredients taste fresh and they slice the meat expertly in front of you. Gone are the days of ordering a sandwich only to get toppings that have been sitting in a tub all day and taste watered down. Jersey Mike's prepares each sandwich to order and the quality shows in every sandwich I have received here. The guys who work the front at this location are super friendly and rarely make mistakes with the orders. We often times come here for lunch while at work and my wife typically always calls in our order. No matter how sporadic our visits may be they always seem to remember her when ordering. Jersey Mikes sells a plethora of different sandwiches both hot and cold but my personal favorite is the Classic Italian. The meats are flavorful and the sandwich is bursting with flavor that I don't get in this sandwich at the aforementioned other sandwich joints above. The sandwiches are filling and never leave me disappointed. Jersey Mikes also offers a club card style program where you can accrue points with each visit so be sure to take advantage of this offer. It has also recently come to my attention that they also offer a free sub on the day of your birthday so this too is an offer I will be unable to pass up. This location is very crowded on sat for lunch. There was over 13 people in line. For a sandwich shop that is pretty rare. Why is it so good? Is it cause the meats and cheeses are all cut fresh? Great place for a sandwich. Staff is always friendly and food is always fresh and piping hot. For the price, it's a sizable sandwich. I always get a hot sub: usually a chipotle cheesesteak or the Big Kahuna. The Big Kahuna is my favorite with the mushrooms, peppers and Jalapeño. Another reviewer here suggested adding the chipotle sauce to the Big Kahuna which sounds delicious so I will try that but as is, the Big Kahuna is a juicy, meaty sandwich. I stopped to eat at Jersey Mike's Subs on 45 Auto Center Drive in Lake Forest. The place was nice and clean. The server was nice & friendly. The cashier was super nice & friendly. Eddy the very nice manager allowed my to take the photos. I ordered, The #13 The Original Italian Sub. Provolone, ham , prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, pepper & oil. with lettuce, tomato & onions. A very good sandwich. I also had chips and a Diet Pepsi. For dessert: three cookies; chocolate chip, macadamia nut and a raisin. They were fresh & tasty. I thank Eddy the manager for the photos. Eddie "the Main Man" P. - just a cool guy. When not filling oil and vinegar bottles and contemplating what he's going to eat today, he can often be found upfront delivering premium quality hot sandwiches. Jake "The Snake" J. - the man behind the Mike. Jake is extremely fastidious and can be found slithering from place to place helping with whatever needs doing. You can tell that he truly loves his job and finds great passion in serving and in PAYING ATTENTION to his valued customers! Mayra "MIKE'S WAY!" E. - the woman who truly keeps the boys in check. Mayra will often be found in the store at 5 am in order to keep the premises in top shape (and sometimes there are 2 boxes to make!). Ali "I Need a Ride" T. - among the hardest-working people at Jersey Mike's. Ali moves as though he is on a magic carpet zipping over the dunes of the Syrian Desert. He is constantly on the prowl assisting customers, cleaning, and prepping for future business. His long ponytail foreshadows a carefree and mischievous disposition, but as long as the floor is cleared of items to slip on, Riley will always deliver a "Sub Above" with memes on the side. Brian "Okady-Dokady" C. - the most consistently happy of the Jersey Mike's employees. Brian always manages to smile wide and speak with an upbeat tone when assisting customers. Their sandwiches are delicious. I was really impressed with their #13 sandwich, the Original Italian. It was recommended when I mentioned that it was my first time trying Jersey Mike's. The sandwich has provolone cheese, ham, proscuittini, cappacuolo, ham, salami and pepperoni. The meats and cheese are freshly sliced and much better tasting than those of your typical sub shop. I ordered a regular and it seemed pretty large. I was stuffed for a good while after eating it. I had the sub prepared Mike's Way, with onions, tomatoes, lettuce, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend and oregano. Their bread is freshly baked in store. We have been coming to this location for years, as it is right down the street from our work. We used to go so often and had such a common order that the main guy who worked there would know it was me when I called it in. Nothing but friendly service here, which is a big thing for me. I have tried several sandwiches here over the years, but my go to is the tuna sandwich, mini size, on wheat. I absolutely love it Mike's way, but no onions. There is just something about their vinegars and oils that makes this such an awesome sandwich. I will order that 9 times out of 10. My husband chooses the Italian sandwich, regular size on wheat as his go to sandwich. It is definitely one of his favorites. For me personally, Jersey Mike's is one of my favorite sandwich shops over places like Subway, Quiznos, Jimmy Johns, etc. My order is rarely wrong either. I can't believe I drove all the way out to Foothill Ranch to try a freaking sandwich from Jersey Mike's! I've seriously lost it, BUT was it worth it? I think so! My friend Amy K. recommended this place to me and I couldn't wait to give this place a shot. It was featured on the Food Network. I walked in and had a hard time deciding between a hot or cold sandwich. They have fresh chunks of meat that don't get sliced until YOU order. Then they have a variety of veggies laid out just like Subway. As tempting as the thin, freshly sliced deli meats and their special Jersey Mike's seasoning looked, I couldn't resist the smell of their cheesesteak. In the end their hot Chipotle Cheesesteak sandwich ($7.75) lured me in. The Chipotle Cheesesteak is slathered with chipotle mayo, and filled with fresh slices of beef (or chicken), grilled onions & peppers, and tons of melted cheese. I also asked for jalapenos in mine, which added to the kick! Ohhh so good. The bread was incredibly soft with just the right amount of firmness to not get soggy. The melted cheese and tender steak slices came out piping hot (I nearly burned my tongue!) and the peppers just added to what was already a perfect sandwich. You definitely get what you paid for. We have'nt been in awhile because our last experience...was'nt the best! Today, we were reminded of that bad experience. When we went in, there was only 2 people in front of us and we've only been to J M's about 5 times...ever! So, we where looking to try something different on the menu. Got to the counter, with no one behind us (3:25) and the young guy on the meat slicer say..."So, you know what you want right"! Giving us the idea that he does'nt even want to be there and that us looking the menu over...was a big bother to him. I opted for the same ol' same ol'...#13 giant and my wife, a turkey wrap with just "a little" sauce in it. I asked the guy doing my sandwich to do it Mike's Way "but" no vinager/oil...because we where 15 mins. from home and it will get soggy. So I struck up my pervious conversation with my wife, while the guys got busy on our meal. Bought a couple of David's yummy chic. chip cookies to go with our meal...and headed for the door. Got home in 10, cause we where dying to chow down and found out the wrap had SO MUCH sauce...it's nasty!!! My #3 Italian...drenched in oil/vinager. It's this one, of many reasons...Jersey Mike's is not even a thought in our minds anymore!! Here's an update to my review of this location, auto center drive, NOTHING HAS CHANGED, imagine that. I personally have not been ordering from this location anymore, as per my previous post. My wife on the other hand has been since the whole Covid thing. She's been ordering online from this location as the other location we typically go to for some reason is not available to order online and have delivered. Now, I'm not going to say that this is a huge deal, but given that this location seems to screw something up every time, it adds to the previous hugeness. This time our sandwiches were correct, but we ordered 2 bottles of pepsi. Keep in mind on the website the only drinks you can order are bottled. Even if fountain drinks were available online, we'd still order bottled, especially right now during Covid, I don't need a driver breathing, coughing, sneezing on a fountain drink with a lid that has holes in it. Well, sure enough, we received fountain drinks. 3 bucks a pop vs whatever they charge for a regular size fountain. Again, this in and of itself is not a huge deal, but this location has always screwed up our orders, even in person, which you'll see if you read my previous posting. The difference in price between bottle and fountain I'm sure is a semi-minute issue, but this location literally just cant get it right, ever. Mike S, the previous owner, manager, whomever he is that replies to these, go ahead and put enough points on our points system for a free giant. That would be great. I never have asked for free items, EVER, from any place that has made a mistake. I have 100% of the time turned down repeated offers of free food. NO, the point is fix your problems, if the problems aren't resolved then its clearly a management issue. Don't try to argue management issue with me either, I have a few professional recommendations on how to run a place as well as how to quality check. My husband is a huge fan of Jersey Mike's, me not so much, so 3 stars to even it out. Service is nice and the quality is better than Subway. He gets the Big Kahuna Cheese steak every time and loves it. You choice of white or wheat, hot and cold sandwiches in 3 sizes. Prices are a bit steep, but they have a loyalty club and coupons which can save a few bucks. Everything is sliced and made to order but still moves pretty fast. I've been a fan of Jersey Mike's since I tried them a few years ago with a friend. I like the Caesar Wrap and the sub. This location is pretty dead. I've rarely seen it busy so I'm surprised it's still here but hey, I like that about any place. I hate waiting in line and they've always gotten my order right. I get my subs Mike's way minus the onions. I love that the meat and cheese is sliced before you. I love the thin cuts vs the heavy cuts therefore this place is just awesome. If you get it Mike's way drenched in oil then be sure to eat it right away because you'll get a cold wet sandwich and that isn't very appealing. I could do without the oregano too. I came into this establishment to have a bit of variety in my lunch schedule this week and to prevent getting bored of eating the same thing I've been having for lunch for the past two days. With that being said, I have a plethora of chips from home that I bought from Amazon (Route 11 Dill Pickle flavor) and decided to get a sandwich. My office is pretty much in the plaza across from Jersey Mike's and not more than a 10 minute walking distance. After finally deciding what I wanted to get today from their online menu, I was on my way to grab my lunch. On a typical trip to Jersey Mike's I would usually get a sandwich; particularly a Grilled Pastrami Reuben. But, I decided I wasn't feeling that glutenous today and went with the Buffalo Chicken Wrap instead. Now, if any of you have seen their pictures either at the store or online of how the wrap should look, you'll know to expect something that's cylindrical in shape (similar to that of a burrito if you will) and maybe a bit firm to the touch. Unfortunately, after arriving back to my desk and ready to chomp down some food, I was saddened that none of what I expected was seen after unwrapping the aluminum foil. Instead, there was just a pathetic looking excuse of a wrap laying there as if it was made a day or two ago and was put in the fridge until someone decided to order it. The aesthetics of the wrap wouldn't have been a deal breaker for me if the taste itself made up for it of course. But alas... I was brought to another level of disappointment when the taste of everything kind of just tasted bland. In addition to the sub-par taste, I had a very difficult time eating the damn thing due to all the dressing being pure liquidated and sloppy all over my hands! Overall, this is the first time I feel like I've been let down by a Jersy Mike's establishment and don't consider $8+ for a wrap that was mediocre, at best, to be justifiable in terms of what you get for the price you pay. read more

That said, I got the distinct impression the woman behind the counter wasn't having any part of my cheerful attitude I walked in with when I placed my order. It felt like she was snapping responses at me. Hey, I get it. We all gotta work some place to earn a living, but when you're serving someone the public you should have the ability to fake it, even if you're not feeling bright & sunshiney happy. What an AMAZING experience I had when I had Hope catered my husband's 60th birthday party. She delivered to Buena Park for a reasonable$10.00 fee... saved me time that I needed to get the party decorated and ready. I always end up at this place if Eleven 46 is closed unexpectedly, and I am actually ok with it. Love love love the sandwiches here! I tend to order the original Italian, which they don't slice until you order. I love the shredded lettuce. I feel like that extra effort makes the sandwich that much more pleasing to me. I don't order Mike's way because i'm not a fan of vinegar on sandwiches, but once I got it by accident and it wasn't too bad. The bread is ok, but not the best. I'm satisfied that it doesn't cut the roof of my mouth. When it's just me, I get the smallest size. A large sandwich here is enough to feed 4 hungry people. I split one with someone and took it to a baseball game, and I think I was pregnant with a sandwich baby only having eaten half of it. I've been coming here for years and service is hit or miss. I know it is not a table service restaurant but I normally expect friendly help. A number of times it seems like the guys just want to close instead of help the customers. I've seen this multiple times. Some guys are great, some are so-so, some are downright not friendly. It has also been awkward sometimes when the tip option comes up and I don't tip and they surely don't act friendly after that. Well, if you would have been awesome I would have tipped you. But you weren't. I've worked in food service and you need to be better than that. Now they took away the Chicken Parm (their best sandwich) and I am so sad. I love the service here. Very professional and friendly individuals who work here. I had a hard time hearing them ask me questions about my order. Basic things such as "Do you want mayo?" There was a fan and music playing and any normal person would be able to hear them but I have a hard time when there are multiple sound sources. I apologized and let them know I couldn't hear them because I kept asking them to repeat themselves. They were understanding and actually turned the music down for me.
