Walked in on Saturday December 9 three out of the four employees in the store were wearing masks and all of them were coughing or appeared ill. The gentleman in front of me asked why is everyone wearing masks and Tammy the manager who was open ill and coughing responded with saying that all the employees wearing a mask were ill/coughing and had fevers. She even said she shouldn't have been at work today but didn't have a choice. Another employee said yeah I'm sick but couldn't miss out on money. Employees that are ill like they were should not be preparing food it is a food safety violation. If you want to eat a place where employees are preparing food that are ill this is the place for you. The 2 stars are for the friendly staff. The missing 3 stars are for a $15 regular sub with double meat. No drink. No chips. That's just crazy! Oh.. and no bacon. I rate my location (Sunset blve, Lexington, SC) 5 stars because of Odell. In the past, the food was sloppy, never consistent and had a horrible taste. The service was horrible, rude and the waits were ridiculous. I stopped going. I went in again a month ago and was waited on by Odell. He was so polite and made the . best sandwich! Today I went again and he was there. The line moved smoothly, people were patient as he handled it like a pro... and the #13 sandwich was PERFECT! I came in and a customer ordered a sandwich and it had a lot of meat on it! I asked "Did that customer request "double meat""? They said "No"! This place has good food, though this isn't exactly a chain I tend to actively seek out to go. I wish they had more options for toppings especially with the price they charge for food. I'm glad they have gluten free options for people that need them! read more

Jersey Mike's is one of my favorite places to get a sub. You can actually taste the meat on the sub, no need to get double meat. Also, for the mayo lovers, getting it Mike's way with just oil and vinegar tastes just as good, if not better. Plus it can be healthier. This location is nice, clean with a friendly staff. Pretty sure the staff know our orders by heart since we visit the Lexington location every Tuesday. I love this location and the subs are on point. I always get the club on white and you can tell the bread is baked fresh daily. The meat itself doesnt even compare to a subway as it is MUCH better. They can be a little pricey but if you stick to Tuesdays they have a promotion where you can get a regular sub, chips, and a drink for $7.99. It's been a few years since the first time I went to Jersey Mikes. Most of my reviews is based on that I was in and out within a couple of minutes - since I was grabbing lunch. Sub choices are up on a board - along with prices. You get a choice of mini, regular, or large sub along with their prices. I thought prices were if you got a combo - so went with a regular sub (not know what size sub would be - but figured it would be par for you regular sub anywhere else). Not so - when i added on the chips and drink - price was higher than i thought - by a couple of buck elsewhere. I have to admit - for the amount of meat I go - I was full - maybe a better dinner choice. I have to admit - they do slice their meats - where a some of the other places their meats are pre-sliced. When adding topping - they ask you if you would like it "Mike's Way" - which I am assuming is all the toppings (I did not get Mike's way as I only wanted a few toppings). read more

Jersey Mike's is my favorite sub shop. Doesn't matter which location, they are always on point. I love their cold and hot subs. I probably order the turkey the most because it is 98% fat free turkey, and still has great flavor. Mike's way plus all the peppers and cherry pepper relish. The roast beef is wonderful too, but the Italian is the best cold sub on the menu in my opinion (again Mike's way plus peppers, I'll even ask for the sweet peppers and bell peppers when I get this sub). Hot sub wise, the cheese-steaks are the best you'll get in Columbia (excluding DL McLaughlin's sorry Mike). My wife likes the one with the chipotle mayo, but I get the big katuna with all the peppers! SO GOOD. Good as chicken cheese-steak too. Staff always nice. Their prices are WAY higher than other chain sub shops, but the quality is too! PS: If you've never eaten at a Jersey Mike's get the regular. They have great subs and the people are always super friendly, but this is the second time I have been there and they ran out of bread. Not just one kind either, totally out of bread. How does a sub shop run out of bread? I ended up getting two leftover mini pieces of bread which made for an awkward sandwich, but it was past my dinner time and I was starving. Everyone in line behind me was offered wraps or salads, but if subs is in your name and you don't consistently offer them, I would think it would be a tough sell. read more

Went there at 11:15 on a Sunday. Only 2 people working and 4 people in front of us. It took a about 30-40 minutes to get our order. The staff was very apologetic and nice but it's unacceptable for it to take that long. They are obviously understaffed. I wouldn't recommend going there unless you order beforehand. read more

I've never been to a Jersey Mikes until yesterday and it was the absolute best sandwich I've ever had. I got the chipotle chicken philly and it was amazing. The service was great and the workers making my sandwhich were so personable and helpful. Blew me away, especially for a fast food place. Eat here a good bit, as well as a lot of the sub places in town. Good quality and quantity for the price. Skeptical of the tea now since it had soured when I had gotten it, so usually opt for soda. Management is horrid. The beef for the phillys is not well regulated, ordered one and when they pulled the drawer out it was full of blood, which only happens if you've left raw beef out for hours, which is a health code violation. They've got my call in/online orders wrong on three different occasions and the manager offers me a compensation sub but then "forgets" the next day. Saw the same manager use the same gloves on the slicer that he was using for the raw meats. This all culminated in me not being able to leave the bathroom for a couple hours after my last and final purchase. Do NOT go here until current owner and management leave, the JMikes on the other side of the dam by Irmo HS is different owner/manager and is a night and day difference. read more
