Jersey Mike's never seems to disappoint, no mater which picky Pete I'm ordering for they always find a good sandwich. I love the number 13 Mike's way, add pickles, bacon, and jalapenos; unless I grab a Beef Big Kahuna instead. Most choices are quite tasty. You can get them on a roll or opt for sub in a tub and eat them like a fancy salad; both equally tasty. We were jazzed to find a familiar sandwich shop in Lubbock. I got the philly cheesesteak on white. The steak tasted quality and the cheese was melted and yummy. I asked to have the spicy mayo on the side and they put it on the sandwich on accident. I should have returned it, but I just ate it anyways. My husband and I were the only one's there so it seems kinda weird they would mess up our order. I know everyone makes mistakes. The food tasted good and it was out in a decent amount of time. The service was friendly and I would say this place is worth a try for a quick sandwich. Good atmosphere. Customer service was great. They greeted us as we came in and talked and laughed with us through the entire process. There aren't a lot of choices veggie wise. Your basics (lettuce, pickle, tomato). There are a few additions you can make like jalapeños and banana peppers. Dressings are only a vinaigrette and olive oil, but they were good. They also had a cherry pepper sauce that I got on the side just to try. It was sweet and bold just like a cherry pepper. All in all it was good, but a little pricier than I would have liked. Regular size sandwich (they have 3 sizes) and a bag of chips was $8. My friend had their Philly cheesesteak and said it was really good. He paid $10 for regular size sandwich, chips and a drink. Will I return, probably not, but not because any real problems. I just tend to be cheaper than the average cheapskate so I'd prefer to pay a little less for what I got and also have more veggie options. We love Jersey Mike's and try to locate one in cities we visit. This location proved to be less than good based on personnel only. The young man had a hard time keeping up with the ingredients we wanted from the beginning. It may be because they prepped our sandwiches at the same time vs one at a time like the other stores do. He flipped the bun tops on our sandwiches giving my husband mayo, which he hates. Our order was "to go" and we didn't discover this until we got home. I called to report the mistake and the kid that made our sandwiches answered and explained that his manager likes them to fill the orders all at one time to expedite things. That's great if you're good at it and you're really busy! I reminded him that we were the only customers in the store, so that excuse didn't sit well with us. Probably won't use them again if the manager is absent or for take out. read more

Based on food alone I might have given Jersey Mike's four stars but this shop has such excellent customer service that I bumped it up to five. I've eaten at the store four or five times including when it first opened. I was so excited to go to Jersey Mike's in Lubbock because it had been one of my favorite places to eat in Dallas. I get the roast beef Mike's way. Mike's way means red wine vinegar, olive oil, Italian seasonings and spices, lettuce, onion, and tomato. There's other options like pickles and mayonnaise and a pepper relish among other things but I've never tried them. I love that jersey Mike's slices the meat and cheese when you order the sandwich. All the ingredients taste fresh and the combination of flavors in the Mike's way style is amazing. Granted with all that liquid your bread can sometimes get a little soggy but being someone who hates soggy bread I can attest that the sandwich is still delicious. The customer service at the store is outstanding. They always make friendly conversation with you as you go through the line and they seem to genuinely want to know how your day is. I tried to redeem the yelp offer at my most recent visit for a free chips and drink with the purchase of a regular sub but I had not read the fine print because I had ordered a minisub. The girl at the register informed me of my mistake and I was happy to save the deal for later but she ended up giving me a free chips and drink anyways. I thought that was really nice! If you're in the area and need a quick bite definitely check out Jersey Mike's. I hope they build more locations in Lubbock so more people can enjoy them! read more

The subs here are really great. I've eaten at the location in the Vegas Airport, and it was good also. Big subs, great flavor, and very reasonable prices. They were very busy today, but with a line 20 deep, I got through in less than 10 minutes. I had a cold sub, and it was delicious and fresh. So I walk in store today and there is a table at the front door. I ask if I can place an order HERE or should I call it in. A guy walks over, about half way towards me and says "Yes, you can place it here, but we are asking people to use the app instead. I said "Okay" and he replies "It's gonna be a while, there are orders ahead of you." So I say " Nevermind, I'll get something else." So, Jersey Mike, maybe you should invest in some customer service training. Your employee gave impression he did not want to physically take my order and he let me know in no uncertain terms that I should eat elsewhere as he was busy with other orders. So, I did. My suggestion would be "Hello sir, yes, you can place here, phone or the app. I'd be happy to take your order right now. You might have a X minute wait as there are a few orders ahead of you. Will that be okay?" And Jersey Mike, no, I don't want free coupons or discounts. I want you to fix your problem of bad customer service by training your staff and doing quality control checks. First impressions are important, and this first impression of your business cost you future business. I won't be back. read more

The store manager does a great job with the store upkeep, as well as making sure the crew is always updated with prices or more. They have great subs, but I have to agree with a previous reviewer, the prices are too high. I don't know how often I will come here for subs, it would be more often if they were cheaper. I had their chicken parm sandwich and it was good, a little messy towards the last few bites. The other downside is that the parking lot is not the most convenient to get in and out of. Not only was my sandwich absolutely NOT what i ordered (I ordered a number 8 and they made something with steak and pepperoni mikes way) but i sat at the ordering spot for a good four minutes, and two men made direct eye contact with me and did not take my order. Finally some young man came over and tried to take my order when one of the men that had previously not taken my order scolded the young man about "letting him take all orders" Overall, there seems to be a miscommunication error throughout the store but this store needs to get it together. read more

Love the Italian sub on cracked wheat bead done of MIKES WAY. Sliced deli meat right in front of you so you know it's fresh. Mounds of fresh veggies. If you're wanting something different try the Rosemary bread. My daughter loves the chicken Parmesan which is grilled chicken breast and all the fixings, you'll swear you'll need another. My husband is a fan of the meatball sub because it's the largest meatballs EVER on a sandwich. My son loves the Philly Cheesesteak with chipotle mayo, it's to die for with all the flavor, meat, and cheese. I recommend Jersey Mikes to everyone. They are THE best! read more

My boyfriend and I have been meaning to try this place for a while and finally went. The girl behind the counter was sweet and gave us some recommendations, we settled on the chicken bacon ranch (me) and Italian (him). The sandwiches were just OK, I found the ranch to be pretty bland, more like a mayo than a real ranch dressing. He was encouraged to add the vinegar and oil which he didn't like. My biggest complaint was the price-2 subs with chips and drinks came to $27! Part of this was the electronic card reader that asked if you want to add a tip-I didn't really want to, but felt rude saying no, and I don't appreciate when businesses force customers into tipping. For that price, they should have been the best sandwiches of our lives, and they just weren't that great! Sorry, we won't be back. read more
