We ordered: a sub in a tub (original Italian), and a foot long big kahuna, NO jalapeños. We got: an original Italian sandwich (not a sub in a tub), and a 6 inch big kahuna. They corrected the order, and we brought the sandwiches home to eat. When we unpacked them, we found that the big kahuna had jalapeños, making it inedible. We had to return to the store and have yet another sandwich made. Totally unacceptable. Will avoid this place in future. After all, there are so many other choices available! read more

Before a meeting in Maricopa, we stopped in to try Jersey Mike's since we don't have a location near us and we hadn't been to one since we lived in California. Trying not to eat too much meat during the week, we both tried the veggie options. I went with the Grilled Veggie Wrap and the Mr. went with the Veggie Sub. Both were okay, nothing special. Basically, grilled or fresh veggies in a wrap or between some bread. Yes, I get that's what we ordered, but some places actually come up with some pretty amazing flavors for their veggie options. Anyway, from what I remember, the meat filled subs are amazing. So, I'll definitely have to come back and try one of those! read more

I gave the 3 star review because they are new and I will try them again, but I would have rated it lower if they were not a new location just starting. The Ruben I ordered had little to no meat on it and it looked like I was just eating a small loaf of bread. My kids ordered the chicken bacon ranch. when they were asked what they wanted on it they said just lettuce. Lol when we got the sandwich it was chicken and lettuce no ranch or bacon. But it did have cheese. When we went back up to the counter they said that's the way we ordered it. Instead of just saying ok we can fix that, they were like it's your fault u said just lettuce. Ok it's our fault! Now fix it. So in a month or 2 we will try it again but for now. We won't be back soon. read more

First time to JM. Service was slow. Waited 10 to place order as the person who writes order also sliced the meat and made the sub. There were other workers standing there and when they made the sub was very slow. I don't know how they handle lunch crowd. Sub bread was to hard for my taste. Very expensive compare to Subway and smaller and sloppy. Will visit another location in town. Maybe it was a Maricopa moment as I'm finding things are done different here. read more

They make great subs, No comparison to subway ! Not even in the same league. They have many different subs so eating there almost every day is no problem :) One of my most favorite lunch places in maricopa. A+ on the friendly staff. They even know what I always order but I throw them many curve balls with the many favorites I have. I guess the only issue I have there is what sub I will have that day. Been there twice first time was good. This past time I went was ridiculous I waited for 10 mins without being knowledged while I'm assuming the manager was talking to a worker about his schedule and left to go talk to him. Finally after waiting a worker saw the line getting long...almost at the door..and started taking orders. Waited 25 mins for two wraps and while the cashier was charging us the lady from the beginning comes again and starts telling them about how ppl weren't doing there work and she was writing someone up. Clearly she needs to get her priorities straight and work on their customer service. Only person that stood out was Josh who apologized several times and even offered a cookie for the inconvenience. I saw this open and thought, that's what we need in Maricopa another sandwich or pizza shop, but getting sick of Subway and the wait at Firehouse is too long. Not a bad sandwich, you can tell the employees are new, they kind of stumbled through making the sandwich. Fresh Bread and veggies, meat was a little stingy. One thing i look for in a place is an awesome staff. The GM Mylene is fantastic, and her employees are just as great. I walked in this evening with no idea what i wanted (yes i was THAT guy) but Mylene and the other two, whose names i missed, rocked it and got me a sandwich that blew my mind. Its a "99" for those curious. Its not on the menu, rather a blend of two different subs, but it was seriously one of the best flavor combos ever! This place is fantastic, i could eat here every day. Today I got a Ruben sandwich,I love Rubens.wheni got home was surprised to get baby food in a bun.they chopped everything up together real fine,how gross.wont be back I'll stick with subway they never disappoint. Ordered 3 sandwiches for delivery was supposed to be ready at 1:10 wasn't ready till 1:30 upon inspection of my order found my giant #7 was a giant #3 with the wrong toppings. I tried to call the store to have another sandwich made and delivered but the phone just rings and rings with no answer. So now I had to drive up to the store to get my correct sandwich made. Once there I found 8 people inside all waiting for their own orders to be made plus another 4 outside and no one in line. On top of that they had at least a half dozen other orders sitting behind the counter, things looked pretty backed up and orders being made for people in the store who had also order ahead were being confused and messed up as the people waited. I realized why my calls were just ringing and never being answered, the manager was standing in the open back door on the phone. I paid a little more than $60 for my 3 sandwiches plus delivery and still ended up driving to the store. They did make me a new sandwich but I feel like something more should have been done. They clearly seemed under prepared for nfl championship sunday. read more

Great sub. I had the Big Kahuna, which is basically a hot philly cheese steak sando. It was really good, the flavors all melded perfectly. Girl behind the counter was courteous, attentive and very polite. In fact everyone working there was ; and that makes a big difference to me. I'm knocking off a star, for price which is a bit high, and the fact that sandwiches should have more meat on them. There was plenty of cheese, just not enough meat. It may be awhile til we make it back to the Maricopa site, but we're very impressed by the owner caring enough about quality to reach out to us and address our experience. The service is always top notch, and the food is great. We eat at this location almost every week and always have a great experience.

First, I LOVE LOVE LOVE their Philly Cheese Steak. That's all I get and the hubs gets the Big Kahuna. We started going when they first opened and went once a week until recently. There have been some staff issues but most of the time they were working hard and friendly. Hubs always orders and pays for double meat. Double meat was just what it sounds like, and what we expected. Well, last week he went in and the girl who made his sandwich took the portioned out meat and cut it in half. When he questioned her, she identified herself as the manager. He asked "since when" because he'd been in there more than 20 times and never saw her before. He explained they'd always gave him double, not 1.5. She wanted to know who, he said EVERYONE and described the one he had understood to be the manager. She said that guy was the regional manager, which would make him HER boss. She said she was going to talk to him because he was doing it wrong. Seems strange to me but the hubs was very upset and swears he wont go back unless he gets what he's been getting. I did love the that cheese steak! Bread could be better. read more
