I bring my kids here all the time and rarely have an issue. If there is one, it's quickly corrected. We went here on a Sunday afternoon. It took a few minutes to be greeted, but once we were, we were seated. We were seated near the bathrooms which kinda sucked because those bathrooms stink and the walls are dirty. I gagged trying to take my daughter to use the restroom. I ordered 2 kinds chicken tender meals, 2 kids shake, a side of fries, and a dr. Pepper. The waitress brought out a regular sized shake so I asked her to return it and bring a kids shake since that's what I ordered. She apologized and corrected the error. When I got the bill, I saw I was charged for a regular chicken tender meals and a kids chicken tender meal. Keep in mind both meals appeared to be the same size, and I order 2 kids meals. I had lunch at the Johnny Rockets inside Arizona Mills, and I want to give a shoutout to our server, Keiyona. She was the only server working the whole restaurant, and even though things got really busy, she still held it down and kept everything moving. I ordered a sandwich without bacon for my daughter and me, but a few pieces ended up on it by mistake. When I let her know, she got the manager, Chris, right away. They handled it professionally -- took it off the bill and made a fresh sandwich. Wow! Haven't eaten at Jonny Rockets in so long. Being a vegetarian it can be hard to find a good choice for a burger. This traditional burger with the Impossible brand patty was really, really good. The salad was great. My son really enjoyed the Philly cheesecake with the cheesy fries. We had leftovers and we are big eaters. Especially when it is so good. We haven't been to Johnny Rockets in a while and usually go to the location near Odyssey Aquarium, however that location is slammed right now because of Spring Break. Service was definitely good/adequate, but the food/prices were lacking. Everything seems a bit smaller in size/portion than it used to be. Cup size is smaller if you order anything besides a water. The $8 shake also came out in the soda sized cup, and though you do get the steel mixing cup with the leftovers, there wasn't much in that either. It just felt a bit overpriced-though the shakes did taste very good. Kids meals were fine but the chicken was over cooked so the kids barely touched it. Good thing the fries are good! My husband got a burger and fries and said it was fine. I ordered a grilled chicken salad with Ranch. It's a huge salad(and should be for $11) but what you see on top is what you get. Maybe 20 or so flakes of cheese and some sparse pieces of chicken. Basically a huge bowl of leaf lettuce. The chicken had a good flavor but is VERY thin/almost felt like beef jerky. Closer inspection found maybe 6-7 small pieces of bacon and a couple tomatoes. After I asked our waiter for more cheese and some ranch-it tasted good. But only order this if you like mostly lettuce and a very small amount of toppings(including chicken). Definitely just dissatisfied with how much you get for the price-but I guess that's par for the course these days with record high inflation on the rise! It might be worth another visit but I don't think a salad is the right thing to order here. read more

Occasionally the staff would break into a song and dance routine. It was fun. This location isn't "fun". The staff was great. They asked how we were doing several times, and the order was handled as quickly as could be expected. My burger was OK. The fries were good, and the shake was good. My wife's "grilled chicken salad" wasn't grilled chicken. It was "griddle chicken", the same griddle they do the burgers on. That is not grilled. Also, the lettuce could have been fresher. It was "OK", but lacked the crispness one would expect from new/fresh lettuce. So, overall, three stars. It was "OK". A bit overpriced, but "OK". The food finally got to us and it was ok, we had the philly cheesesteak but it wasn't sliced thin but cut into chunks. The bread was hard around the rim like it was left on the grill too long. After being very specific about how we wanted our burger, it was incorrect so we had to wait while they made another one correctly. The taste was just so-so. I've been here a few times. It is one of my go-to place whenever I go to the movies or shop. In this last case, I was shopping for my parents' Christmas trip. If I could give no stars I would.... haven't been here since I was like 6? I came here with my aunt and we waited about 10 minutes for a table to be ready. The manager came over and said 3 tables needed cleaned and asked if we wanted a table, the bar, or a booth.. we said booth then got sat at the table.. okay no big deal. Our server was very quiet... he kept talking to the manager and when he did come by the table I kindly asked for him to speak up because the masks made him even more hard to hear... My aunt and I order our drinks which were received at a timely manner... we order our food. She gets the original nothing on it but Mayo and pickle on the side, I order the original on a lettuce wrap, no onion, extra Mayo and pickles... We get our food and it was all wrong... she got her burger but no pickles or Mayo like asked, then mine was a total disaster... had everything on it plus on a bun. I told our waiter that it was wrong and my aunt was missing condiments and he said he could take my burger back and just remove the bun. He watched me touch it, so I told him I'll keep it because I just touched it. He said that it was fine and they'll make another. He took my burger and while waiting he totally forgot about my aunts Mayo and pickles.. it took about 10 minutes for my burger to come back... so then hers went cold... she was frustrated so didn't say anything but she did finally get her condiments... my burger comes back atrocious. I called our waiter over... they literally threw my food all over the tray... sauce was on my lettuce that wasn't even on my burger, dirty lettuce leaves, white core on the lettuce. I told the waiter I wouldn't even feed it to my dog... I asked for the manager then he said he was one... SAY WHAT?! The kid was terrible under pressure. I told him I thought it was his first day as a regular employee! I told him I'm not gonna argue but I wasn't happy... the literally took off the old bun I touched.. put it on the line which it is cross contamination.. so everyone could've possibly gotten sick..they threw a lettuce leaf down, the two pickles on my previous burger, some random shredded lettuce, messy mustard, the burger then the other leaf with some random DROP of their secret sauce.... I asked for Mayo and pickles 3 more times... then wrapped it how it was supposed to be wrapped and presented.. below is the mess and then my attempt of fixing their mess.. Training needs to be done. My first time at a Johnny Rockets, and my last. We stopped in for a quick lunch. My friends both ordered burgers and fries. I ordered a salad. The salad was supposed to be made with spring mix. Instead it was only red and green tango lettuce, one of the ingredients in spring mix. I had to look it up to figure out what they made the salad with since it was obviously not spring mix. There was a tiny amount of diced tomatoes. The only redeeming thing about the salad was the grilled chicken. It was moist and flavorful. So, I ate the chicken. Not much of a lunch and certainly not worth almost $9. Our server did a fair job, but never cracked a smile. When I pointed out that the salad was not made of spring mix, he had no response. My friends liked the burgers and fries. For that I'll give two stars, but they dropped the ball and lost a potential customer with the salad. read more

Johnny Rocket's is a mix between a 5&Diner and an In and Out Burger with a dash of Ed Debevic's (May it rest in peace). Great burgers with good looking fresh ingredients. Shakes that are out of this world. But I've never seen one that wasn't in the mall. This particular location is in Arizona Mills and it's a pretty good sized location. Not one of the largest ones, but it has counter and booth seating. Though, like many other locations, during peak times you can expect to see a line forming outside. We've stood in line before - just for a shake to go. At this mall one of the other advantages here is that this isn't a part of the official food court. It's pretty much on the other side of the mall. So if you're there and hunger strikes - you don't have to walk to the other side of the mall. And in this mall, that could take you awhile - longer with kids, even longer with window shopping friends. By the way - they have Boca burgers and Turkey burgers. You want an egg on it? They can make that happen. They also have other sandwiches - from a grilled cheese to a Philly. I suggest ending it all with a Hot Fudge sundae. And after all that, you'll want to do a few laps of the mall just to breathe again of course. So if you need to leave soon, make sure at least one person in your party has some restraint. Let them get a salad. The rest of you will be too deep in a food coma to be trusted behind the wheel. read more
