Great sandwiches. Normally get the number 3 with onions and bacon. And the workers are working hard.

The parking lot for this location is really busy and very narrow so be cautious when driving in it. I ordered pick up and the staff here seemed busy but also inattentive. I have literally the easiest sandwich order known to man, turkey bread mikes "juice" and mustard. There were no condiments on my sandwich. The fountain soda area could use a bit of tidying up as well. read more

The Subs here are very good, except for the Tuna Sub and I am here to tell the owner WHY and Help. The Tuna Fish tastes Fishy & very bitter because it is NOT prepared correctly - they only prep it with Tuna Fish and Mayo - you Need to add Salt, a good amount of Lemon Juice, and a dash of Celery seed - then it will taste very good. Example: Try a fork full of Tuna Fish right from the can and you will agree it tastes pretty BAD (Fishy & Bitter). read more

I'm a big fan of the franchise, especially in N. California where they just can't seem to get an east coast sub right. I always know I can get a consistent sandwich that reminds me of NJ (where I grew up). However, in New Providence, where most delis get it right, Jersey Mikes is "just another" sandwich joint. My complaint is the lack of meat and the price. A one minute walk to Avenue Deli gets you the same quality sandwich with double the meat and way cheaper price. For this location, either drop the price or add more meat!! read more

This is an update of a 2016 review. Original review plus update. If you've never had Jersey Mike's, don't rate it based on price if you've never tried it like some of the reviewers here.  I first had their subs down in Point Pleasant and I am happy to report that the New Providence shop follows the formula exactly and is just as good as the shore or the Westfield shop.  Yes, it's pricey, that's true, but you get what you pay for and that is fresh fresh fresh ingredients and wonderful buns and dressing and so good that even when you're stuffed you'll want more.  I recommend the #2 Jersey Shore above all the others and get a giant, you won't regret it. 2021 update: That was originally a 5 star review. The last time I went was after a change in management and I haven't been back since. Here's what happened, I noticed that the bread looked a LOT smaller all of a sudden. The new manager who had been at a different location previously responded to my inquiry by telling me the previous staff was making it wrong and that this was how it was actually supposed to be. But that didn't ring true, I've been to many other locations. This threw off the proportions of the items AND the bread was different in taste and texture as well. I didn't like it. And they had also raised prices, so now I was getting less and paying more thanks to the self-congratulating new manager. Congratulations, I'll be shopping at other Jersey Mikes locations from now on. read more

I'd give it a 0 but not an option. I tried calling this location and they failed to answer to change the pickup time. They proceeded to put the phone offline. My hot sandwiches ended up ice cold. Poor customer service. read more

I am loving the Jersey Mike's subs these days! A very consistent product with a great selection of standard cold and hot subs. I love the number six, a roast beef provolone. My fav is with a little mayo made "Mike's Way". Also love the turkey or the Italian. The ingredients are fresh and the bread is spot on! It all about the bread! Their staff are well trained and deliver an excellent experience. Today they made my number 6 and ran out of roast beef. I Only the "shnibbles" were left and they were conscious enough to let me know the other freshly roasted beefs were too hot to serve. So on my request they slapped on some turkey ( cause I love me a turkey rb combo) and gave it at half off! Win/win! The place is clean. The place is tiny. Only about 5 tables. I really like Jersey Mikes subs and their variety. I feel they have something for everyone. This particular store has miserable workers. I'm there at least once a month to pick up sandwiches and have been greeted when I walk in but most of the time not positively... the staff that make the sandwiches look sad and unhappy. It's uncomfortable to tell them what I want and I stand there anticipating potential attitude. Maybe I'm coming in on their bad days? And believe me I get we all have bad days... just it's been my experience when I've gone in.. I'm less likely to go now and chose to eat somewhere else often due to the attitude and general portrayed misery from the staff. If they don't wanna be there neither do I.... read more

One and done! $7.95 for a regular sub that came on bread that wasn't fresh. The tuna was bland and the sub was tiny. Meh!

First time ordering at Jersey Mike's in Westfield. Ordered a Giant #8 Club, no onions, no peppers. Half with just Mayo, half with just oil and vinegar. We were charged extra because each Half was dressed differently - that was fine with us. Both sandwiches were heavily smeared with chopped hot peppers. We wiped them off but it's hard to remove that flavor. The Mayo half was also liberally doused with oil and vinegar. The bread was stale. Ugh. Back to Mountain Deli on Mountain Ave in Scotch Plains - sorry we strayed. Better bread and have never had an order problem. Hot peppers?? Ridiculous!! read more

My experience at Jersey Mike's subs it was very good. Although it is not a gourmet food experience, they have aced a turkey provolone sandwich. I was perfectly happy with the topping selection, lettuce, tomato, spicy mustard, plenty of herbs on top, and the bread was tasty as well. It was a very quick sub making experience, perfect for a quick lunch break. I don't recall there being much seating, but it is definitely good for take out. There is a large parking lot, very easy access for Jersey Mike's. There is a grocery store and other establishments in the same plaza for your convenience. I would definitely do this again for lunch in the future however maybe pricier than other sub shops in the area or at least comparable. read more

A few people raved about Jersey Mike's, so I decided to give it a shot. Having lived in multiple metro areas in my life I have to say I was unimpressed. Maybe it was the hype leading up to it, or the long wait (it took over 35 minutes to get a sandwich), but I really wasn't impressed. The bread was good, the oil and vinegar was spot on, but the roast beef was really not that rare. Maybe it is because they served me the very end of the roast, but that really shouldn't have been served in the first place. Without question the best JMs out there. I just placed an online order for pickup on the app and left a note on the order saying the sandwich is for my buddy who's about to get married so please "make it with love" - wow did they - just high energy fun guys enjoying their job and having fun with the order. I arrived when they were wrapping it up and they were just genuinely happy to help the groom. The food is always fantastic here but this experience put it over the top for me. Decent food, TERRIBLE customer service! I have been in there a few times and each time I order I feel like I'm asking for a favor. Tonight I went in to grab an online order and I didn't even get a "Hello",. The woman just grabbed the bag and handed it to me while she continued to speak to her coworker about how they could expedite closing up early (it was only 7:30). I had a last minute invite and was scrambling on what I should bring. I stopped into Jersey Mikes in New Providence NJ to see if they make sandwich platters on short notice. The Manager Marlon Duque was beyond accommodating . Normally they need 24 hours notice, but he had my party box ( better than a platter) of 4 large subs ready to go in about 35 minutes. If I was the board of health, I would shut this place down. The woman making the subs had long braids that were not put back, as she used the meat machine, here braids waived back and forth touching the bread of the sandwich! And the other guy who was making subs and working the register didn't change his gloves between handling the register and making the subs and literally took my money with gloves on and then used the same gloves to finish making a sandwich! Jersey Mike's has locked up a spot in New Providence next to Chipolte which opened end of April. Good for patrons but likely will eat into Subway and Main St. Deli customers. Good luck Jersey Mike's, happy to not have to be in Pt. Pleasant Beach to get a good sub.... read more

Ok subs that are a bit pricey for the quality. Worth going over Subway but that is not saying much.

The sandwiches they serve are very average. However the prices they charge are a bit steep. Walk out there spending $16 for a soda and sandwich that's only 1 level better then Subways read more

Had an issue with the online ordering. I got a message that my order didn't go through and was not received. I was on my way to work and picking up lunch for myself and a couple friends. Because I received this message I just stopped at another nearby place and ordered a similar order. Hours later I received a voicemail from a worker at this location that my order was ready and has been ready for quite some time. I responded by calling them back by then they must've changed shifts, so I was on the line with a female employee who was completely clueless as I wanted the money refunded to my card. I was told to call back around a certain time the following day to speak with who ever took my order. Bottom line is ... They never refunded my money for the order that I never picked up due to an error on their end. Because of that I refuse to go back to this location. read more

I was in a rush one night and had to get dinner for my kids, and I stopped by Jersey Mike's Subs. Nobody was there except me. The bread was stale and they put way to much oil and vinegar on my daughters sandwich when I said only a little bit but they didn't listen. The bread crumbled up when I went to eat it and made a mess. I find the deli meats quite fresh and good, my sons got two hot subs they were good minus the bread.
