Always wanted to try this place and I'm glad I did. Service was excellent and the worker even let me try a cut of meat I wasn't sure of. They cut all of their meat here before they make your sandwich unlike subway which has precut meat frozen then thawed. Quality is much higher than subway and even though they don't have as many sauces as subway, sandwiches are still very delicious. Get the "Mike's way", you won't regret it!! read more

For a chain establishment Jersey Mike's is very good. The employees are fun and energetic. When I told them I was debating between their melt sandwiches they told me about how they combine them to make the 99. If you're looking for a slight spicy cheesy hot steak sub this is the one to get! Parking is bad sometimes (in this complex in general) since there are so many business and so few spaces. Lots of people end up parking on the side street which jersey Mike's is close to so it's ok. read more

I really want to give them a 5 but they get my order wrong over half the time. I don't know why it is so difficult to get an order right over the phone. I always say no cheese and honey mustard. Over half the time They give me cheese and regular mustard. It happens so much I feel like it's a joke on me at this point. When I am there in person it is fine but over the phone they constantly mess it up. They need someone new to answer the phone clearly. Great location, friendly staff (even had me parting with money for a tip). My husband and I have tried quite a few different things on the menu. My favorite is the cheesesteak. His is the Italian. Today was a little disappointing. I really enjoy the subs from this place but I guess I picked a bad day to order. We planned ahead and made our order online. Upon arriving only 4 out of 7 were ready. No one had made the Hot Subs. So some had to take charge and make those on the fly. Overall, I wasn't happy with how our order was handled. This is a good sandwich joint. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. I usually get the Tuna sub and I have to say it is the best Tuna sub I have had around Poway. I usually spice it up with Jalapeno's. All the veggies here are fresh and the bread is perfect. I called in an order and went in 15 minutes later to pick it up. Yet it hadn't even been started yet even tho I watched someone else come in after me saying they called in after me and got their food in 2 minutes. But then after I waited another 15 minutes in the store, they messed up my order and put onions and peppers on it even tho I specifically said twice not to. This locations great, if you are constructing a log cabin. Bring water to soak the bread and a book to read while you wait. If you happen to be a celebrity and wish to eat in peace this is your location. The staff are famous for totally ignoring everyone in the dining room and at the counter. If you're on a diet you have found a friend here. Even though it takes nearly half a paycheck to liberate a sub from their grasp, they WILL respect your diet and not over load the sandwich. No one will leave here bloated, which allows you to continue with day. For those who are looking for a fat sub to eat on the couch and watch a game, go to the PB location. Truly an excellent establishment. Their subs are appropriately portioned and very flavorful. Their roast beef is top notch and all meats and cheeses are sliced right when you order, as it should be. What really impressed me about this place, though, was the staff. Not impressed. Called to place my order yesterday about 5:30 pm and was placed on hold for 15 minutes, they never picked back up the line. Arrived at the location to find three young men laughing and talking, the store was not busy. I told the young men that I was the person still on hold. Michael apologized and said he forgot about me. I ordered a 99 w/o jalapenos. There was talking between Michael and the cook. I arrived at my destination for the evening and opened the sandwich, there were jalapenos. I then called the location and told Michael it was ME yet again and that what they had done to my food was not COOL. I LOVE Jersey Mike's, but this location I will NEVER support again! In fact, signed up on Yelp so I could write this review. During this pandemic, I am very supportive of my local businesses and try to leave substantial tips. Delicious subs. Parking can be difficult to find during peak lunch time hours; just be patient and something will open up. Our most recent visit included a box of kittens in the store; lovely. No, they were not service pets. An employee was even holding and petting one (in uniform), then continued behind the counter to work. This is my go to jersey mikes store, but after being treated indecently i will never go back. I ordered a regular super sub. The girl who took my order told the girl next to her i ordered the club sub. I then told them i ordered the super club and then they said which number 8 or 5. I told them 5. The girl who took my order made a rude remark towards me to her coworker. Then the coworker who was making my sandwich turned her head away from me and kept laughing. I kept staring at them and neither one would look at me. Then the girl proceeds to make my sandwich mikes way but decides to poor as much vinegar and oil on it as she can. It was so much vinegar it was spilling all over. I am not one for confrontation so i kept my mouth shut. When i got home i opened my sandwich and the whole roll is soggy. This is the first time i experienced treatment like this and i hope it is the last. The only reason a 1 star is deserved is because the man at the register was nice. read more

Avoid this location as the employees are not professional. We found one employees mad dogging my kids. We were not advised before we where charged for not extra meat but exchanging meat out of a sandwich which is also not posted anywhere than having the gentleman argue that there meat is so expensive and that's why he does that. What happened to great customer service and that the guest is always right. I felt as if the employee was calling me stupid. This place would get more business if it wasn't for the customer service. It takes sooooooooo.........long to order and make a sub in store. I went there last time and I was the only customer in the store. It was over 5 minutes before anyone even paid attention to me. While the employee was making my sub he was making others at the same time and stopping and asking his colleague about the other orders. I felt like I wasn't even there to them at times. When the person came to pick up their online order, they made me wait while the other person strolled in and paid and picked up for their order. This was not the first time the service has been bad. The subs are actually good so I tried this place several times but I will not be going back as the service is the same all the time. I received a customer appreciation coupon that was for a $2 regular sub. It says valid one coupon per person per day. I was there yesterday with my 2 kids and I asked Mr. Goatee if I could use the coupon twice in 2 separate transactions. He said "that is highly illegal in the state of California it is called double dipping and companies could get in serious trouble for allowing that to happen. I have worked in this industry for several years and it has never been allowed." I said "ok that's fine I was just asking, no big deal, I will just get 1 sandwich then." Then when my 8 year old ordered his sandwich he asked Mr Goatee if there was mayo on the sandwich he said very condescendingly "does it say mayo in the description? It does not" The girl helping him was very nice. When he rang me up he never even asked me for the coupon. Definitely not the best experience.
